I've said so much about pain and hate
Thought it was true but was all a lie
I've figured out its all in my head
Making myself believe that I don't belong
But F*** all that cause its not true
I'm loved by many and hated by few
Still I'll speak of pain and of hate
but not for me, but for your sake

I try and sympathize the way you feel
I'll speak you mind of things unreal
Say the things you only have thought
So no one will know they are your words

So when you look at me and I seem sad
I'm really happy and smiling on the insaide
I know of pain and that of hate
but I find that I no need of it all
So I'll speak for you to hide any shame
so don't feel bad for yourself
I'll be here to say what you think

I've been there before, I know that pain

I wrote this song for a friend, cause they couldn't understand why I would write songs and poems about pain, hate, and apathy so much, and seem like such a happy person. The explanation for it is that I don't write based soley on my feelings, emotions, and life, but I write based on my observations of people and how they are. I try and put myself in there shoes, and write based on how I would feel. So remember that when you read something of mine, 9 times out of 10, your reading about someone else.
