“They’re in the forbidden forest, who would’ve guessed.” Bill said as he sipped his tea, “They are probably ready to attack Hogwarts, but what I don’t get, why did they take Gin?” Bill continued, placing his cup down and then rubbing his chin.

“It’s obvious, they are trying to lure us in and once we’re there, they’ll attack.” Charlie replied, leaning back in his chair. Charlie sighed, he still felt bad for Ginny’s kidnap. He had to do something. “We must be clever than them.” Charlie paused for a few minutes, trying to strategize a plan. Bill looked at his brother and then to Sirius, they all were stumped.

“I don’t know, now. They are probably going to have armed forces around them. It would be impossible to sneak in, unless we have a distraction.” Sirius responded, sitting up and started to pace around the room. “Let’s face it; we might not win this one.” Sirius frowned, lowering his head. His eyes fixed on his feet.

Charlie stood up quickly, his eyes fixated on Sirius, “We are not giving up. She’s our sister.” Charlie bellowed out as he walked up to him and grabbed the man’s collar. “We will find away, if we quit, we will look like cowards.” Charlie hissed. Bill and the rest of the order got up and ran over to them. Charlie brows furrowed, he never felt like before.

“Charlie, darling, please release your grip.” His mother cried out, Charlie inhaled deeply and loosened his grip. He looked at the surprised Sirius and then walked away. He wasn’t going to wait around, even if he has to do it himself. Charlie went outside and walked around.

“I might have to go alone, I must save her.” Charlie muttered to himself, his fists clenched. He gritted his teeth, he was about to make the toughest and life threatening decision. He was going at it alone, without the other’s help. “I must do it,” Charlie sighed deeply and ran his fingers in his hair. Suddenly, his mind changed the subject. Romania. Charlie blinked and shook his head; he must write a letter to them saying that he will not be returning to Romania. Charlie shook his head; he wasn’t going to do that. They weren’t really close; he decided not to write them a letter. They’ll get the point eventually. He felt guilty, but it was for a good cause. He kept on walking, thoughts running through his mind. “If I die, I wouldn’t be able to see Bill again, and I will definitely break his heart.” Charlie’s heart skipped a beat, but he stayed with the plan. Charlie nodded and went back to the house, feeling horrible yet relieved. He felt like he’s doing a good deed.

“Charlie, are you alright?” Bill asked, walking towards Charlie. Charlie stared at Bill and grabbed his brother’s hand, leading him upstairs. Bill followed. Charlie took him to a corner and pinned him to the wall, his hands was on his face. Charlie choked on a sob and kissed his brother, possessively. He was going to miss his brother, his soft kisses, his kindness, and his understanding. Bill kissed back, not knowing of Charlie’s departure. Bill gently pulled back, “Charlie?” Bill whispered, Charlie smiled and caressed Charlie’s cheek. Bill noticed tears coming from Charlie’s eyes; Charlie walked away and went upstairs, not looking back at his love. He was truly going to miss him. As he reached his room, he slammed the door and locked it. He sat at his desk and began to write.

To whom it may concern,

I’m sorry. I’ve troubled everyone, I tried to bury my burden, but I brought this upon everyone. I failed as a brother and a son, I feel frustrated for failing, so I’m going to fix it. I’m sorry, but this is how it’s supposed to be. I will get Ginny back, I promise. But, I might not make it alive. I’m not going to say ‘don’t follow me’, because you will. Before I stop writing this letter, I must share you my darkest secret. The secret that I’ve been hiding for years. I’ve been ashamed yet proud of the way I am, to whoever, I’m in love with my brother, Bill. Please, do not give him fits about this. I probably know that he’ll hate me for this. I love you all.

Charlie choked on his tears as he folded up the paper and placed in an envelope. He then took it and placed on his pillow, he felt really bad for leaving, but he must. “I’m so sorry…” He said softly, not holding onto his tears anymore. He fell to his knees and wrapped his arms around himself, his heart breaking inside. He was deeply depressed. “Damn it…” he spat out, he stopped crying when there was a knock on the door. He froze up and quieted himself, hoping they’ll go away.

“Charlie, open up. I need to talk to you,” Bill bellowed out, still knocking on the door. But, there was no answer. Bill sighed deeply, and knocked again. “Damn it, Charlie. Open this door, you’re acting strange.” Charlie lowered his eyes, should he open the door? Charlie stood up and turned his back to the door.

“Please, leave me alone.” Charlie answered, softly. He couldn’t bare to see Bill’s face, so he decided to break off the relationship. “Bill, I’m ending our relationship.” Charlie spat out, covering his ears. He blinked and sniffed. Bill went silent; he couldn’t believe that Charlie was breaking up their relationship. He knew something was wrong.

“Charlie, listen. I love you, I don’t care who finds out! What’s going on with you?” Bill asked, he was trying to hold his tears back.

“Just leave me alone, will you?” Charlie cried out, he was making the biggest mistake, but he knew that it would be for the best. Bill stopped knocking and went back downstairs, feeling upset. Night carried on, Charlie grabbed his cloak and apparated himself to the forbidden forest, his stomach feeling uneasy.

Waiting for him was the deatheaters.
