The night was dark and very windy, an uneasy feeling shot though Charlie’s stomach. He knew what the deatheaters could do, very powerful witches and wizards. Charlie pulled out his wand and left his guard up, but still, he didn’t feel good about this. All around him were trees that were leafless and the shade of black. No good could come from this. Charlie stopped in his tracks and looked around, he had no idea where he was going, but he was determined to find his sister. “Lumos” Charlie whispered, he felt a lot safer now he more light to see with. Charlie walked a good mile before he quickly hid himself from sight, he was close. He could hear voices coming from the clearing; he definitely knew it was the deatheaters. He sneakily went to the other tree, so he could hear their conversation.

“The war is almost here, the attack against Hogwarts will be here shortly. Don’t worry my brothers and sisters; we will kill anyone who is against us.” Lucius bellowed out as he looked out to the crowd, he really wish that he wasn’t part of this. “When the Dark Lord signal we will attack.” He continued, feeling uneasy.

“What about our prisoner?” Bellatrix called out as she pulled off her mask. Lucius shot Bellatrix a dirty look and sighed, “We can’t just let her go, Lucius.”

“Bring her here.” Lucius commanded, watching Bellatrix gather the petrified Weasley. Seconds later, Bellatrix returned with Ginny. Charlie’s eyes widened as she saw the dirt and blood around her face, he was truly pissed off. He tightened his fist and gritted his teeth, they were going to pay. “Hm, what should we do with her? Any suggestions?” Lucius smirked. Ginny’s eyes widened and trembled, she wanted to go home and be with her family.

“Kill her!” A voice shouted out, Lucius raised his brow and looked at the girl. Ginny gulped. “If we let her go, she might squeal.” The deatheater had a point.

“Torture her first!” Another shouted out, everyone raised their fists. Lucius cleared his throat and everyone soon became silent.

“Yes, we should torture her first.” Lucius replied, “Bella. Would you do the honors?” Lucius smiled, he could see Bellatrix’s eyes lit up.

“It would be my pleasure, Lucius.” Bellatrix walked up to Ginny and smiled wickedly. She pointed her wand, “Crucio!” Ginny screamed and twisted about, which made Charlie wince. He had to do something.

“STOP!” Charlie bellowed out, not showing his identity. Everyone turned their heads and pulled out their wands, ready to attack the intruder. Charlie’s heart pounded, he didn’t have a plan. Charlie blinked and walked into site. “Leave her alone, kill me instead, not her.” Charlie continued, trembling at his feet. Ginny looked over to her brother and tears ran down her cheeks, she wanted to say something, but knew she shouldn’t.

“Well, isn’t the brave ickle Weasley. Such a true Gryffindor, too bad Gryffindors are stupid.” Bellatrix giggled. Charlie looked at his sister and smiled, at least she was alive. Charlie gripped his wand and waited for the right opportunity to attack. Bellatrix kept on smiling her evil smile; she then raised her wand up in the air.

“Crucio!” She shouted out as she watched Charlie fall to the ground and twist, the pain was coursing through his body, tears ran down his face. But, he didn’t let out a scream. Ginny darted to her brother, but her legs were like jello and Lucius grabbed onto her, holding her back. She struggled to get free, but it was useless.

“Charlie!” Ginny yelled out, giving up. Her tears fell down her dirty face, she watched as Bellatrix tortured him. Charlie finally let out a cry as he twisted on the ground. “Stop! Please!” Her voice echoing in the forest. Lucius covered her mouth and motioned his fellow members to get the new prisoner. They nodded and violently grabbed Charlie by the arms and dragged him in front of Lucius. Ginny kept on crying, Lucius could feel warm tears on his hand. Charlie felt like he was dying, the pain too intense to movie, he looked up at Ginny. His eyes lowered, knowing that he failed.

“What to do?” Lucius said, rubbing his chin with his free hand. He looked down at Ginny and threw her to Charlie. Ginny landed on her knees and crawled over to her brother; she wrapped her arms around him and placed her hand on his shoulder. “Tie them up to a tree. We’ll let the Dark Lord take care of them.” Lucius ordered as he ran his fingers through his soft blonde hair. Seconds later, Ginny was grabbed and pushed, so was Charlie. Two deatheaters were tying rope around them and to the tree; they pulled on the rope, which made Ginny wince. The two grinned and walked off. Ginny leaned her head back; at least she was with someone. Ginny looked over to Charlie, she could see tears rolling off his cheeks.

“I’m sorry, Gin. I failed to get you out of here.” He sobbed, his body still aching. Ginny smiled weakly, she wanted to hold him – cheer him up.

“It’s alright, Charlie. You tried your best, but I’m wondering something.” Charlie moved his head to look at his sister, his brow raised. “Did you come alone?” Ginny asked in a soft tone, already knowing the answer. Her stomach tightened when Charlie opened his mouth.

“Yes.” Charlie responded, feeling like he made a big mistake on going by himself. Ginny sighed and looked at him, she shook her head.

“Charlie, you’re putting yourself in danger because of me.” Ginny said back, her lip quivering. If Charlie died, she wouldn’t know what to do. But what she does not know, Charlie was here to die.

“It’s my fault, Gin. I let this happen. I came here to get you out of here.” Charlie said, now crying harder. He just wanted to die. “I broke my relationship with Bill.” Charlie choked; he didn’t face to Ginny this time. Ginny kept quiet, trying to figure this entire thing out.

“Why?” Ginny asked. Her heart skipping a beat.

“Because, I’m never going to see him again.” He replied, Ginny eyes widened, she finally figured out why he was here by himself.

“You’re crazy?!” Ginny bellowed out, she wiggled, but the ropes weren’t budging.

This was the last time he was going to see Bill and his family again, he was actually quite happy about it.
