Welcome to my world...
stuff, stuff, and more stuff....did i mention stuff?
I was bored...so sue me ^^;;
This was something I did for the newest RP I joined. Yes I was bored. Yes I dont know why I posted it so late at night. No I dont know why I have a dragon bone thingy on my neck...

A steady rumble of what seemed to be thunder rose from the silence that had once covered the fields. It grew louder and louder, deafening to the ears of those who could hear it. In fact, it wasnt thunder at all but a regiment bearing the flags of Lord Trourn. Their heavy, thick armor covering them from head to toe and weapons made for one sole purpose: to kill. Crows hovered over the group, waiting and knowing that blood was to be spilled and food would be plenty. As the small force marched on, the captain in the front signaled a halt. His hoarse, raspy yet commanding voice echoing past his men. "Halt! Do you not sense it you fools?" A deadly silence soon followed after his bellowing cry. Then, without warning, a arrow embedded itself within one of the soldiers in the rear, piercing the thick armor as if it was no more than paper. Panic overtook the soldiers as they formed a protective circle around their captain, drawing their towering shields up to protect from any more attacks.

Concealed within the forest lay the Drakenguards of Genaii. The archer that had spilled the first blood slowly returned to the shadows where he would be safe. A young elf with fire-red hair and crimson eyes that shone through a warmask stood from where they were in hiding. Drawing his sword from its sheath, he let out a battleorder that rang throughout the trees. From where nothing was, the Drakenguards emerged and rushed to meet their enemy, a deafening roar erupting from them.

The two forces clashed mercilessly as the soldiers fought, hatred filling each side and fueling the war machine within them. The captain of those who bore the flags of Lord Trourn swung hard with a diamond-edge war ax, killing four of the Drakenguard with one powerful blow. As he managed to look up in the midst of the chaos, he froze where he was. He had found himself looking into the eyes of the young captain of the Drakenguard. Then, a devious smile spread over his face and he held back his head as he laughed. "Hah! You and your soldiers will perish by my hand! I, captain Geroth, will..." Geroth had no time to finish his sentance as his found himself launched through the air and slamming hard into the trees behind him. Coughing out blood, Geroth looked up and saw his once proud force become overwhelmed by the attack by the Drakenguard. His very soldiers were dying before his eyes. As his sprits fell, he gave one last command to those that were living. "Retreat! Retreat you fools!" As what remained of his soldiers fled, Geroth stared with hatred at the young captain of the Drakenguard. "Your kingdom will fall and all of those who have died will have their revenge sevenfold!" he spat. Then Geroth felt his stomach give away as he stared into the face of the captain. "Oh my God. No, this is impossible, you were supposed to be dead! You were said to have been killed in the Battle of Helmlock!Kryne...!" Screams erupted from Geroth as flames overtook his body and as Kryne, captain of the Drakenguard, left to report back to his lord, he knew that there was more blood to be shed but he had hoped that it wouldnt be soon.

The Drakenguard forces swiftly moved through the forest toward the Keep of Thulgurn. The guards of the keep, saw them coming and called for the gate to be lifted. Quickly, like shadows, they moved past the gate and headed straight for the warlord's chambers. Upon reaching the courtyard, the Drakenguard knelt down and Kryne alone continued on to the inner chamber. Opening the heavy steel doors, Kryne walked briskly toward the warlord Verek and bowed down. "My lord, the forces that were headed for the keep has been wiped out as you ordered." Verek simply nodded, still deep in thought. "My lord?" said Kryne, clearly was he worried for he had never seen the warlord in such a dilemma. Then the Verek spoke, "Kryne, word has been sent from the palace. I fear that King Aliat and Queen Esmerelda have either been killed or captured. To make matters worse, Prince Ioan and Princess Seina have been missing since the raids have worsened." The warlord rose from his chair, heavy ornate armor clanking in his actions. "I do not know how our kingdom will last without them, and if the palace had been attacked, I do not know how many more men are still alive to fight for them. Kryne, it pains me to tear the Drakenguards from my army, but if the prince and princess are in danger, I will have to send the best of my men: you. Go. My last command for you Kryne, seek the prince and princess. They are alive I know it! Find them and protect them Kryne!"

Kryne ran down the inner keep and out the gate accompanied by only seven of his best men. The rest, he had decided, would be of more help here at the keep. As the Verek watched him leave, he whispered to himself "Do not fail me."
