I know it's been a few weeks since my last entry, but i've been busy with my own things to do and i guess i got caught up in all the excitement sweatdrop Guess that's on me, heheheheh...
First off, my wisdom teeth extraction went quite well. I had no pain whatsoever, and hardly needed ibuprofen or my pain pillsies. The car ride home was quite trippy, as i was singing "The Campfire Song song" by Spongebob...I couldn't even keep my own head up, and walking up to the house was a challenge. All i remember saying is something like,"ICUP!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" and laughing my a** off about the whole thing. Although the first day all i got was root beer floats, and that made me a happy camper :3 I was stuck on the couch for quite a few days, and not only because of my wisdom teeth...
The day after i had my wisdom teeth removed, i had a sharp pain in my right eye. It was constant, and whenever i took out my contacts the pain just got worse. By that very night, my eye had swollen to twice the size, and i couldn't open my left eye the next morning without feeling godawful pain in my right. I couldn't handle light, and my right eye was all gooey and swollen tight. We went to the doc's and they put a special dye in my right eye, but mind you even in dim light, even with sunglasses on, it hurt like hell. I can't even describe the pain, it was..unbearable.
But apparently from going from one doc to an eye specialist who poked my little bro's eye ducts when he was a baby because they were closed up, so he cried blood. This guy was fantastic, he was concerned right away and prescribed just the right meds for me. Turned out i had a 'Corneal Ulcer', painful mother effer. He said that bugs had eaten their way through 2/3 of my cornea, and if we'd gone in a few days later to him i would've lost my sight in my right eye permanantely. Vigamox and Gentamicin were the two drops we prescribed, and normally you take them 3x a day, but we had to apply them once every HALF HOUR. It was hellish, but me and my family made it.
We went back to see him about a week ago and the doc couldn't have been more impressed with my progress smile He said i should have my full sight back in my eye within 6 months! He said we shouldn't dilate my eye anymore (those drops, onece in morning once at night, hurt like a b***h!) and we should apply both drops in my eye every 2-3 hours! My mom was elated, and i was completely relieved. No corneal transplant from a dead guy (cornea that can shoot beams with superpowers plz) so that's good news too. Going in tomorrow to get fitted for new glasses, as the ones i'm wearing are about 4 years old XD
Well, that's all i gotta say for now. I'll let you guys know what happens soon!
