[Well, i can't belive I typed this up before finals. It seems uber long but it's half dialogue (btw I'm a horrible speller)]
"Zzz..." Zuko snored. We were in a WRO truck to go to Edge. I'm resting in a corner of the truck while Reeve and Vincent were talking on the bench. I was too tired to listen in, but something sudden caught my attention. The loudspeaker went on saying,"Commissioner! A rouge transmission is being broadcasted on all wavelengths!"
Then, I heard a voice that I couldn't reconized.
The voice said,
"At last. The time has come to cleanse this world.
The pure will be 'spared' for the cause, while the tainted will be
hunted down
and exterminated.
They shall be slashed,
strangled
and slaughtered.
Beaten,
stabbed
and crushed.
Garroted and
impaled.
Shot and
executed without mercy.
The time has come to cleanse the world."
The voice made bone-chilling laugh, and stopped about 30 seconds after. I suddenly got worried and frightened. But throughout the whole speech, I was pretty sure there was a sense of desitation.The pure will be 'spared' for the cause, while the tainted will be

"Huh?" I heard something running towards us, "Guys! Watch out! Something's coming!" I yelled.
Just then, a big thump hit the truck. Reeve opened the back door of the truck to investigate, but a beast pounced at him immediately. Quickly and accurately, Vincent shot the beast before it could get close to Reeve. But once it got out of the way, it revealed a whole pack of them.
"Guard hound!" Reeve exclaimed. Vincent shot a couple more until Reeve pushed a button and said, "Vincent! Use this."
A giant machine gun appeared out of the floor of the truck. Vincent ran to the gun and began to eradicate the hounds. Suprisingly, Zuko was still asleep. After the pack retreated due to Vincent's counterattack, another thump hit the top of the truck.
"Vincent!" Reeve called.
"Pfft.. Spazz," I whispered to myself. At that moment, Vincent nodded and jumped up on the roof of the truck. Numerous amounts of thumps hit the truck then, it stopped. The truck suddenly crashed into something and we felt like it was in the air. I braced for the incoming impact, and so did Reeve because we expected a rough landing. Zuko, who was still sleeping, hit his head on the wall, hard.
"OW!!! HEY!!!" he jumped into a fighting stance, then found out there were no attackers."Hmmm... What happened Janelle?"
"We crashed. The knockback made you hit your head. I told you that that Red Bull would be bad for you."
"Well I don't plan ahead very good. Anyways, we aren't in Edge yet?"
"Nope. And it's very well," I said with a smile. I got off the battered truck, and offered my hand to him. He grabbed it, got off, then patted the dust off himself.
We later decided to meet up with Reeve and Vincent. Reeve told us to continue onward to Edge, and that WRO troops were dispatched there. Zuko and I began to walk to the town, while Vincent and Reeve continued to talk. I later heard my name, so I listened in.
"She might just have good hearing," Vincent said.
"I know but being able to hear someone coming, while being in a rustling truck is almost inhuman. Did something like this occur before?" Reeve questioned.
"Actually, yeah"
"When?"
"Back in Kalm. Before Azul showed up, she told Zuko and I to keep our guard up because she heard something."
"See? There's something weird about this. Report to me if you notice anything different or strange."
I looked at them, and Vincent was coming at us. When he caught up, we saw a guard hound, except this one was a crimson type. It spotted us, and made a howl. Slowly, normal, dark blue hounds appeared out of the caves and cliffs. By the tens, they dropped to assist their crimson leader. Zuko and I took the guard hounds, while Vincent fought the leader. Because of the numerous amount, Zuko was clawed on the leg. I used Fira, which destroyed a good amount out of the canine army. I fended them off while Zuko recovered. Vincent killed the beast and helped out, even thought there were 2 left.
We regrouped and checked for injuries. Zuko was the only one hurt in this battle. I gave him a potion, and we continued onward. I heard something move, but ignored it to keep me from becoming supicious. The figure charged at us, but Vincent kicked it up into the air, shot it about 3 times and it landed on a huge rock pillar. Zuko and I looked at the whole thing and stood still in awe. He continued walking toward the city without waiting for us. We snapped out, and caught up to Vincent. Right when we thought that nothing else would show up, a bunch of DG soliers on motorcycle-like vehicles appeared and began to circle us. To Zuko and I, this was fairly easy since we are firebenders. With the riders still circling us, we got into a formation with Vincent behind and between us, so he doesn't get burned. We launched a stream of fire at them, and they were burnt on their tracks.
"Good job Zuko!" I said while hi-5ing him.
"What was that?" Vincent asked.
"We were firebending," Zuko said, "You never saw us firebend?"
"Never did."
"It's a martial art skill, a small amount of people are firebender, but Janelle and I are, and we're at a very high degree."
"That can be useful," Vincent began walking, "We should continue."
After a couple of miles in a forest that surrounded Edge, it was almost midnight. I said,"We should stop for now. We'll need the energy for Edge."
They agreed with a little more effort. We began to set up a small camp with a fire Zuko made. We were about to fall asleep, until I heard a tiny snap. Vincent and Zuko heard it as well. We kept our heads up and listened for another sign. I grabbed one of my knives, and pin-pointed the sound, it was behind Vincent. I told him to move a bit, so i can get a good glimpse. I yelled with a knife ready to throw,"You! The one behind the tree, come out!"
Vincent and Zuko look ed at the direction I was looking at. The figure came out into the fire's light. It was a girl about 16 years old. She was wearing a white top with puffy sleeves, then a tan corsette and a blue-ish skirt. She also had a long gold heart necklace. Obviously, she was frighten.
"Who are you?" I asked with my knife still in my hands.
"Um... I'm A-Ashly.. Please put the knife down, I-I'm no harm," She said.
"Okay," I placed it down,"Why are you here?"
"I got lured into the fire," she chuckled.
"Oh well, take a seat," I offered. Immediately, Zuko got up, came to me, and began to argue to me quietly.
"We don't even know if she's telling the truth!!" he said in a whisper.
"She doesn't look like it."
"We can't take risk!"
"Well, you took a risk with that Red Bull."
"I admit that, but you can't take risk."
"Why not?" I questioned calmly. Ashly heard the conversation, came to us, and said in a happy voice,"You can trust me! I can't fight!"
"See Zuko," I said with a grin hiding behind my scarf.
"Fine!" he said with an attitude. He stormed back to where he was laying down before. I noticed Vincent went to sleep, and I was suprised he wasn't woken up since that agrument was close to him. I offered Ashly a seat near a fire, and we began to talk.
"I'll just join you since I can't go to sleep now," I started.
"Oh, I'm sorry," she replied.
"Nah, it's okay. I'm not that tired anyways."
"So where are you heading?"
"Edge. We got some work there."
"Oh, what do you do?"
"Well, I'm a rouge, but not the bad kind. I help out people when needed. WRO wants us to liberate Edge from some DG soldiers."
"DG?"
"Deep Ground. Also, WRO is the World Regenesis Organization."
"I don't know," she said with a smile on her face.
"It's hard to explain. How about you? What do you do?"
"Oh, I'm a gypsy. I travel the world."
"Oh cool."
"I also get stuff from the towns I visit, she took out a huge basket of items I didn't notice beforehand," Look at the stuff!"
I looked at all of the stuff, but one item caught my eye.
"Is this a guitar?" I asked.
"Yup! You want it?" Ashly replied.
"I wish, but it'll be a problem due to the liberation. I can play in now though."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Play then!"
"Um, okay," I began tuning it, then I played the tune of Hero/Heroine. The sound wept the forest.
"That's good," she said softly.
"Thank you," I said while playing.
"Where did you learn to play?"
"Congaga, my hometown. My friend's dad taught me a while back. By the way, where do you used to live?"
"Modeoheim."
"Oh."
"I'm just wondering, why do you wear this scarf over your mouth and right eye?"
"I want to."
"Doesn't it bother you?"
"No," I replied while still playing.
"Okay. For the song, I'll tell you your fortune."
"Mmm, it's okay."
"I insist."
"Fine, I guess," She took out a large deck of cards called Tarot cards. She tols me to shuffle the cards with a clear and focused mind for 15 seconds, then made 4 piles which I did. She took the top cards from each pile into her hand so I could see what they were. She examined them closely and started with, "Live in the present, not the past"
I instantly stopped playing.
"Ponder about life and it's mysteries. Do not worry about past issues, and your future..."
I wanted to know what it was going to say.
"A secret will come out into the air."
"I saw that coming."
"What is it?" she asked. I put my pointer finger near my lips, then said," It's not going that easy," then put my finger down.
"Okay, I understand. On a different note, who are the these guys you're traveling with?"
"Him," I pointed at Zuko,"That's Zuko, a good friend of mine, and Vincent," I pointed at him," is my 'bodyguard' and friend."
"Ohhh! You're traveling with them because you like one of them!!"
"Huh?"
"Just kidding! I wanted to see your reaction, and."
"And?" I continued with a confused face.
"To see if you're human," She was serious.
"Um.. Why?" This wasn't good.
"You don't look like it," she said.
"Well, I'm less human that you. How'd you know?"
"When you meet enough people, you can see the difference. So why? Why are you less human than me?"
"That's the secret"
"Oh," she looked at the glowing moon," It's very late, we should go to sleep."
"Alright, good night."
"Good night," I laid on the ground, and fell asleep.
