Entry of: Johnathan Crane
What has caused me to be here?
To be here in this dark room, a room with one mirrored window forcing me to look at my unmasked face.
Those damn police officers think it's funny to take my mask, to watch me squirm.
I'm all alone in this room, I have to fight for my innocence in a crime that was well justified but do you think they care?
I was just trying to protect someone I love!
Is that wrong?
No, but they just see me as a criminal, a crazy.
Well I'll show them.
*commisioner Jim Gordon walks in & sits down*

<<Crane>> *silence*......
<<Gordon>> You'll have to talk sometime Crane.
<<Crane>> I know that. I'm not a moron.*drums fingers on table*
<<Gordon>> No, no your not. Now tell me, what were you doing in Dr. Arkham's office so late at night. What were you doing out of your room so late at night?
<<Crane>> Well...I uh,
<<Gordon>> You were going to see someone, weren't you?
<<Crane>> Yes I guess...
<<Gordon>> Who were going to see? Was it that Jenny girl?*smiles*
<<Crane>> *blushes* No! No...*runs a hand through his messy black hair*
<<Gordon>> But she wasn't in her room, was she?
<<Crane>> Damn it. No she wasn't...H-How'd you know I was going to see her?
<<Gorodn>> When we found you, you two were kissing. What do you want me to think?
<<Crane>>*blushes* Oh yeah.
<<Gordon>> Now tell me what you did next.
<<Crane>>*sigh* I went to find her.
<<Gordon>> Where did you find her?
<<Crane>> I went to Dr. Arkham's office & saw that the light was on which I thought was strange. I could hear Arkham talking to someone, a girl.
<<Gordon>> And this girl, it was Jenny?
<<Crane>> Yes. I heard a commotion inside & barged in only to find Arkham on the floor, bleeding & Jenny holding a knife.
<<Gordon>> What happened next, Crane?
<<Crane>> *rubbing the back of his neck* I stood there & she looked at me. She had a-a frightened look in her eyes. Like something bad had happened.
<<Gordon>>*raised an eyebrow* What happened to her?
<<Crane>> Well she told me that Arkham had brought her to his office to talk to her. She said that he had become attracted to her. It was then that he tried to...well he, forced himself upon her.
<<Gordon>> So basically Dr. Arkham tried to rape her?
<<Crane>> Yes. She told me she grabbed the knife off of his desk & stabbed him with it. But he attacked her again, bleeding heavily.
<<Gordon>> Thats when you came in? To rescue her?
<<Crane>> Yes, I guess if you want to put it like that...
<<Gordon>> Then Arkham pulled out the gun?
<<Crane>> Jenny didn't even see it. I pushed her out of the way right before he fired. But luckily he was so dizzy from blood loss that his shot missed. I took the knife & ran over to him, he cocked the gun & fired, hitting my shoulder. I plunged the knife into his shoulder which caused him to drop the gun.
<<Gordon>> What did you do with the knife?
<<Crane>> I gave it to Jenny. Even with me in the room, it made her feel a little better.
<<Gordon>> Now Jenny can't remember a thing. Don't you find that strange?
<<Crane>> No, not at all. She basically slid to the floor & passed out. I sat on the floor as well & watched her.
<<Gordon>> All right. Thank you. We're finished here, take him.
Two police officers came in & led me out.
I was taken to the holding cell where Jenny was.
She was so happy to see me, espcially unmasked, that she hugged me tightly.
We have to spend the night here.
