I Dance with Him so Close
By Copper Poet
We waltz, we sway, and we both strike a pose
I dance, I love, and I move with him so close
He bows, he dips, he holds me so close
It is he that I love the most
The music encourages us on to move with faith, and prayer
I rush trying to get to the end, even though I don’t know what’s there
When the dance ends, we stand so close
It is he that I love the most; yes it is he I love the most
Then I open my eyes
I see single pair of footsteps in the snow
I stand, I laugh, and then, with a tear in my eye, I walk home alone.
It was he that I loved the most.
It was he I danced with so close.

Poet's Voice
What I write is Truth, Wisdom, and sometimes as funny as Hell. I mostly talk about myself, and what I think is important, but I also write what needs to be written. Everyone should keep up the good word right?
