I wanna be somewhere
Some where in love.
I've got my pretty new boots
And my pink umbrella
For when it rains
And my Chapstick and band-aids,
For the good and bad times.
Umbrella in hand, I step from my shadows.
Squint my pale eyes in the warm sun.
So many people in pairs like shoes
Basking in the warmth together,
Eyes wide open and sparkling.
I wanna be warm, too.
