i went to bed early last night, ten-o'clock, b/c grams was already ready to go to sleep. i would usually read until i'm tired. on most new year's eve i would stay up watching the show for that ball dropping thing in time's square. not this year. they say however you ring in the new year is how you'll spend the rest of the year until the next chance to do things differently. so does this mean that i'll most likely be sleeping through 2009? that sounds dreadful. although it could mean that i'll have a cozy year filled w/ warm pajamas and fluffy blankets to keep me from getting cold. my room's the coldest in the house during the winter and the hottest during the summer. i would hope that this foreshadowing of my potential new year works out more for the comforting side. versus just another "boring" slept -through year.
