-Cat was jumping in and out of our sight in the tall grass. She was chasing a butterfly happily. Dinah was folowing her trying to catch it too. It was a cute sight. I laughed at them. T and D where walking hand in hand behind me. They've been really quiet since we set out over and hour ago. I stopped and turned around. I guess you could say I was worried about them. "Hey girls. What's wrong?" I asked. They winced at the word girls and looked down. "Oh. I see. " I said patting them on the head. "It's nothing you should be ashamed of. Being a girl is great. Your so much prettier now to be honest. You guys should be happy" I said smiling. They smiled to. "Thanks." T said. "No problem." I said getting up and continuing to walk.
-"Hey Cat?" I asked stopping to catch my breath again. We'd been walking for hours and it was starting to get dark. Cat was carrying Dinah, who was asleep, on her back. "Yes? ~nya" she said. "How much longer until we get there?" I asked. "A couple of minutes actually. ~nya" she said pointing to the familiar house ahead. "Huh. How come I didn't see that?" I asked myself. I shrugged. Oh well.
-Within the next minute or two we were on the front step of the house. That red door. I ran my hand down it then knocked. "What do you want?" a voice came from the other side of the door. "Rabbit? It's me. Alice... I'm back.." I said smiling. "Alice?" He said. The door opened. He wasn't standing there. The house was completly dark. I walked in along with everyone else. "You look... different." He said. I looked in the direction of the voice. He was sitting in an armchair in the cornor on the room. He was visible by the light of a reading lamp. "As do you." I said exzaminging him. He was human like the others. His hair was a dark purple. He wore a pair of black pants and a black hoodie that had bunny ears on the hood. One of the sleeves were torn out and a green striped arm warmer took it's place. I looked at his face. His eyes were a bright orangish yellow color. I gulped. He was... gorgeous. I could my face getting hot.
-Rabbit got up and walked over to us. His hands were in his pockets. He got really close to me and a looked me in face. I bet my face was bright red. He smiled. "I like the change." He said eyeing me up and down. "Glad you do." I said smirking. "You guys should stay the night. It's late." He said pointing to the stairs. "Thanks man. ~nya" Cat said taking all the other people upstairs, leaving Rabbit and I alone. "So how you been?" he asked. "I've been great." I lyed. He looked at me. "Your lying." he said bluntly. I smiled. "Yeah. I am." I said. "Can I hear what's happened since you left?" he asked. I nodded. We sat down and I told him the story. "Wow. That sucks." He said putting his head on mine. I could feel the blush rising again. I smiled at him. I know it sounded crazy but, I think I was falling for him. He's human now, so does it matter?
- Morning came. I woke up on the floor where I had fallen asleep while talking to Rabbit. He was next to me. Looking at me. "Morning." He said. My face got hot. "Morning." I said smiling. "We should get going if we're going to get to the castle in time to confort the Hatter." He said. I nodded. Everyone was getting up and ready. I showered and cleaned my clothes. Then we set out. To the castle. Me, Rabbit, Cat, Dinah and the twins. The resistance.
