School is out now. What a lovely relief. The long hot days have arrived. I think I'm going to start sleeping outside.
So, I'm reading this Terry Pratchett book. (For those of you who don't know him, Terry Pratchett is an author that will better your life. Even if you don't read all that often just pick up one of his books and hold it against your forehead and he will better your life through osmosis.) And really there is nothing special about me reading a Terry Pratchett book, because I do so quite frequently, as in several times a month. But this book, which is called The Truth has a very very special quote for all sorts of very special people, which I thought I might as well put here. It goes:
There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: this glass is half full. And then there are those who say: this glass is half empty.
The world belongs however, to those who can look at a glass and say: What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass! Who's been pinching my beer?
I love Terry Pratchett's "Diskworld" series. They are truly grand. And though I like The Truth, (after all, who doesn't? It's so much more preferrable to the alternative) it is based in Ankh-Morpork which is major cool, but not my favorite setting. My favorites in the realm of Diskworld are the ones like Small Gods and Monstrous Regiment which are outside of the city.

Six Orange Fish
This is a very special place, filled with very special people, who can sing! And dance! Often at the same time!
Furthermore, this is where profile openings go to die... Sniff... Orange and yellow carnations are welcome here.
By the by, if a lone voice calls out into the darkness, move a little; you are probably standing on his foot.
