thanks guys. it ended up being such a wonderful day!!! omg. i was really overwhelmed. It hadn't fully set in on me the awesomeness of it while it was happening. cuz, a lot of people came out to the party. and usually noone comes to my parties. so, i was just like for a while ... um.. is this really my party? so that was great. a bunch of peeps from my work came. They didn't bowl, but they just came and hung out. this girl who is like only person i still know from high school still came. we haven't had a chance to meet up in person for a few years. so that was special.
omg.. the gifts. they got me lots of butterflies nad lots of purple stuff! my grandma got me some pixie statue that looks like me with pixie wings and no glasses. whee heart but, with my greatgrandma's card.. she had this little keepsake in there. it was one of my earliest pictures on an antique backing with the newspaper announcement clipping from when i was born. Omg... i almost started to cry. that is one of the most sentimental things anyone has ever given me. then, my one aunt gave me a two sided photo frame with a pic of me and my mom from same time as the one my great grandma gave me... and the other side had a big butterfly on it. geez. so i got lots of stationary though. My family knows I like to write letters; even though over the past year or so, I haven't written as often as I used to. I tend to think about it and procrastinate.
my other gifts I got were a leather coat from my josh heart , a barnes and nobles membership from my mom, my sister got me a liz claibourned purse and some novelty stuff like a mash tshirt, cabbage patch kids pj's.. a lady from my work got me some victoria secret slippers. 4laugh Someone gave me a bath and body works gift certificate, and i got a certificate to meijers. not sure what i'll get at miejers. maybe i get more underwear. can always use that. i'm sure i can find somethign there... even tho i'll probably find stuff more then ten bucks. xd
