"So what do you think happened?" "Well his anger pushed him into a premature hunting stage" "What would he be mad at?" "Like I have a clue!" Jiro heard voices close by as he woke up, not opening his eyes yet, they still hurt, He heard His dad and aunt Kari arguing close by, there were other ppl in the room though, most like Tomaki and one of his kids. "Me." He heard a soft reply, the voice was close to him. His eyes shot open, stinging intencly as he did so. He blinked them shut again and opened them more slowly. Kasey was sitting on the edge of his bed, looking at him with consern. Jiro couldn't help the growl that ripped at his throat as he looked at the other boy. Kasey flinched and stood up. As he turned to walk away Jiro's hand shot out and grabbed Kasey by the arm. "What are you?" He rasped, His new amber eyes burning with anger... and wonder. Those chocalate brown eyes amazed him, he thought they were... beautiful.
Kasey sighed at the question. What was he? "What are you-" Kasey cut Tsyumni off, "I'm- My father- He..." Kasey sighed again, Taking time to process what would be best to say to Jiro and deisded to be blunt. "My father was a werewolf." He blurted, ripping his arm out of Jiro's grasp, "Are you statisfied? He killed my mother!" Kasey glared at Jiro who returned the look with equal hate. Tsyumni, Kari and Tomaki stood staring in disbelief. "Ts-Tsyumni?" Tomaki stuttered, "I know." He sighed running his fingers through his long black and amber-brown locks. Kasey looked at Tsyumni, his eyes suddenly pleading, "I haven't done anything wrong!" He criedstepping away from Jiro and taking a step towards Tsyumni, "Please! I haven't done anything!" Tsyumni sighed and glanced at Tomaki, "You have to, the scent will bring his father here." "No!" Kasey yelled "Tsyumni killed my father!" Kasey looked back at Jiro and then to the older vampires, Tsyumni and Tomaki's confused and hesitant expressions releived him but Kari's glare was unavoidable. "Fine! If you cowards can't kill him I will!" Kari snarled, her short purple hair hanging infront of her face, highlighting her now light orangey-amber eyes. Kasey braced himself for the attack, his eyes squeezing shut.
Jiro's eyes widened as he registered what they were going to do to Kasey. Why? He thought, Is that why I hate him? Do I hate him? Jiro had no time to think as Kari sprang. "No!" He breathed, his body acting on its own, He shot out of bed and jumped between the she-vampire and Kasey. Kari skidded to a stop reflexively. "Move brat, He needs to die." Kari growled, her light amber eyes were in high contrast with Jiro's blood red ones, "No." He snarled, his arms held out in protection of the boy he- Hated? Liked? Loved? Jiro didn't know but he was about to let his aunt take Kasey away. "You-!" "Kari! Enough." Tsyumni said in a firm, comanding voice. "But-" "No, He lives in my house and I make the rules, He stays." Jiro heard Kasey breathe a sigh of releif as Kari straightened back up and her and Tomaki left. Jiro let his arms fall to his sides as he sank onto the floor, suddenly exahusted.
