Warrior's Tears
As the smoke settles on the battle field I am tired and hungry after another long battle. I await to go home and see my family and my lover, wishing I could hug and taste her lips once more. As I come upon the mount of dead enemies and allies, I show no tears for I am a warriors. I look around and give a sad sigh as I help buried the corpses of my fallen comrads, still I do not cry. As I return home I return to see that my woman has found another and has bore my children with this other man. Enraged by her actions I draw my blade and yell in anguish as the woman I had loved and wants to make my wife when I returned from battle. Has finally betrayed my, "Why my love, my princess my rose.." stumbling back I run out of the house and travel once again to find a place for this warrior. After the many scars that have been inflected on my heart I never cried since I was too tough of a warrior and never had the balls to cry. As I look up into the sky after many years of hurt and worry tears flow down my cheek like a wanted rain for years. I lay down with my sword and symbol of my new wife, whom I did love dearly and still do who is right by my side right now. I hold her on my chest after we had both created a new life together within her. I slip off into a light sleep, with my faithful sword beside me also, it begins to rain. Are the heavens crying for this warrior as well? This is the warrior's tears.
