Today, we discover something that we never cared about yesterday.
Work Placement - Week 6/13
-------------- THE PLACEMENT --------------

Holy..!
I've been at this placement for six whole weeks? (minus weekends)
I'm actually really enjoying myself, I usually get so bored when I take up a job and get the urge to release stress on a shooter game... but in this placement I haven't had any of that.
It has had it's dull moments (sorting post), but for the most it's been a really relaxing job and I really wouldn't mind doing admin for some company for a full profession.

It kinda goes against all my old plans of doing programming, writing or pc repairs... but I'm sure I could always go back into those (well the last two) in the future; for now I think I want to get into a full career in the administration department.

Well, I'm not going to go on too long about my placement.
Honestly there isn't a great deal of update for what I've been doing, it's basically the same stuff on a daily basis with the odd little twist here and there.

So onto something else!..

-------------- MUSIC --------------

Well, I've finally been ripping all my CDs onto my computer... after much digression I finally have most of my music collection back onto my system!
Huzzah, I have my Korean music back. <3
At this very moment, I'm listening to the wonderful Seo Taiji. <3

Let's take a moment to look at some new artists, some quite popular already and others... not.

9Goats Black Out;
These guys seem to have had quite a bit of popularity right off from when they first appeared. They only have one mini-album out at the moment, but it's really good stuff. Ryo has a great voice and it meshes in perfectly with the music... really a group people should take a listen to, if you haven't already.

Dehuli;
A kick-a**, and I mean kick-a**! Dark sounding band from Japan... seriously, these guys are great. The vocals are beyond perfect sounding with a mixture of screaming, shouting and melodic lyrics. The music supporting the voice has great transitions between softer calm sounds to hard, fast paced mosh-friendly moments.
If you get a chance, listen to the song Vivid Place by them, it's absolutely dreamy.

FeaDior;
Actually this band isn't all that new, they formed back in 2006 and unfortunately stopped with their last live performance earlier this year.
Their music could be looked at to have some similarities with GazettE, though there are distinct differences in the sound; much on the part of the vocals and on the drumming.
I really like the stuff I managed to get by them... I'm sure some of my friends would love the stuff too, though there isn't much of it.

-------------- OTHER --------------

I went to see that Iron Man movie on Monday with two guys from work, it was a really great film; the ending went a bit too fast, I think it should of been dragged out a bit to make more of a grand finale. But other than that it was a great film.
My cough annoyed me a little through it though, I had to wait until really loud explosions happened to cough because I didn't want to make noise and ruin it for other people. xp
Luckily there were quite a few loud noises in the film, and they were nicely spaced out. It fitted quite well with my cough. =D

I'm setting up to get my next hair style again, I've built quite a nice big catalogue of styles all in colour order so I can take that to the salon with me and I can pick something with the help of my stylist. ^_^
I'm probably going to go back to having blonde in my hair since my niece wanted me to get blonde again... that and I quite like having my hair with blonde, which I guess is only natural since I used to be blonde many years ago.
Then on top of that, I think I might put a colour or two into the mix, probably not permanent colours though... I think I might get it to be brown & blonde, or black & blonde and then use those 'do-it-yourself' hair colours for random choices. I guess it all depends on what it "acceptable" in my work placement. :S

I seriously need to stop getting sidetracked by things.
My plans to get back into my writing have seriously been pushed to the side, so far that they're almost falling off the track of my mind. On top of that my studying has pretty much gone out the window, though that one doesn't matter too much since I'm not on a course or anything so I can take all the time I want on it.

Well, I think that'll do for now!
I'm going to stop for now so I have something to say in my next entry...

Until next time... take care.
~Sariel.
