Earlier today I had a conversation with my friend Phas about poetry. I decided to send him a rainbow poem I love. The poem inspired me to make another similar one...

All it does it sing with glee
All it does is sing with joy
The outer layer and voice of the canary
Always comforting those surrounding her
But the canary, not always so happy has secrets of her own..
Despair wrought her heart..
Desperation fluctuates her sorrows..
Oh how I wish I can save the canary from her sea of misery
Never to cry
Never to feel alone and useless
Punish those who truly deserve it
Those who hurt and trap her yearning heart

Oh dear canary, my dearest canary...
I wish to hold your heart together
The pain you bring is the pain I hold
As the sun rises, you erupt into a world
Of stress, sadness, disappointments and living
As the sun sets I try to bring myself to give you even an ounce of joy..

The canary singing as happy as can be.
A wanderer's eye dwells on her form.
What will the future be my darling little bird?

Oh wanderer who tore her apart, what can I do?
Leave my canary away for she sings only when she wants.
She won't sing for you, she fails to recognize you.

What do you want my canary?
What can I do?

I simply just want to love you.
