You were one of the first people I saw,
The day my eyes open big and bright.
And The look you gave me was "awww"
Your eyes glistening with absolute light.
Years past and I began to grow.
You were always providing for me.
And sometimes, I would even show
You my love, so you could see.
I got older and so did you.
Soon came a day when I never dreamed.
But when I was a child I knew,
And it never, ever seemed.
That you would pass away.
Leaving behind me and mom.
And we would always say,
That you had went home.
To be with Jesus, in his arms.
A gentle welcome and a smile.
And you have lead me from all harms.
I wish you had gotten to stay a while.
Your birthday will be as though it were hours.
And I already bought you a special gift.
I shall put those beautiful flowers,
On your headstone and hopefully they will lift.
Up into the heaven's for you to see.
I hope that all is well in heaven for you.
I also hope you are proud of me.
And always remember I love you too.
