A few roleplay samples and suchs
Roleplaying
A sample of my amazing skills :

Quote:
He was once a gundam pilot, debatably the best out of all of them. An elite hacker, an outstanding soldier, an explosives expert, a gundam pilot, a master of stealth, fearless the list went on. Heero Yuy was everything a perfect tool of war should be. His only problem was, there were no more wars to fight. The perfect tool was now in a way perfectly useless… And the tool knew it. Still he tried to live a normal life, but it wasn’t very normal by normal standards. He gave himself credit for pretending to be normal.

Hacking was his main source of income. He would hack into systems of companies then explain how he did it so they could make better firewalls. Hacking was also a way he kept up with Relena. His second job was to make sure Peace was continuing to stay peaceful. This really wasn’t a job more of a mission. He had been informed of Relena’s murder faster then any one else. The second that the alarm had sounded his laptop informed him something was wrong. Keeping tabs on Relena had been come a mindless daily task. She was an important to keeping peace, and for some reason Heero felt it was one of his main duties to keep an eye on her. After all he had made a promise to always be there for her. Leaning over the dull grey laptop, his left hand danced across the keys. Hacking into the hotel’s camera system had been a child play; there he had watched the whole scene play out from the camera’s point of view. For some one who was a highly trained war vet, he couldn’t help but flinch every time played the part of Relena getting shot. Scowling at himself for such behavior he leaned back into his tattered couch.

The soft glow of his laptop was the only light in his one bed room apartment, if the lights where actually on there wouldn’t be much to see. Heero didn’t believe in needing much; so a tattered couch an aged coffee table where the only items that decorated the small living room.

"Earth… "

His eyes narrowed as his stared at the lips of the man that attack Relena in the tape.

"Why Earth…?"

He played with the question in his mind batting back and forth for a few ideas. Nothing made sense at this point, he needed to get answers. Jacob Miller would have to be the one to give him those answers. After all he was the one that had shot Relena. It had taken some time but he had identified both men that had taken Relena. Shutting his laptop, he scanned the now pitch black room. He had to get to Earth. Something wasn’t right about Relena’s murder at all, it was just a suspicion but it wouldn’t leave his mind. Shaking his head, he refused to let himself get too emotional. Something about the thought of Relena being dead made his stomach twist and his heart to retch. Relena was important to peace, that’s why I keep tabs on her. If she dies peace could crumble. That simple lie is what drove him to be there for her. Now with the possibility she was dead he found himself not worried about peace but of something more… Something he couldn’t explain… Picking up his laptop he reached for his gun. Heero would have to move fast if he was going to get his answers.

Even in the dark Heero navigated his apartment perfectly grabbing the necessary items he would need for the trip to earth. Passport, fake ID, cash, and a suit case. Mundane items really, the only thing he would need in the end was a gun and possibly his laptop. He would get to the bottom of this mystery before the Preventers could figure out they needed to head to earth or the names of the two men that had taken Relena’s body.

A knock at the door drew his attention. He had never had visitors before at his apartment, why would he have them now; not to mention it was the middle of the night. Setting his suit case down he gripped his gun and started to head for the door. Resting his hand on the cold brass knob, he straightened himself before he opened the door. His gun trained on the two figures just outside his door as the bright light of the apartment hall way blinded his eyes for a second. Squinting at the light he quickly recognized the pair, before his eyes adjusted to the light.

"What do you two want?"

His voice was a complete monotone as he kept his gun trained on the other two former gundam pilots Duo and Quatre. Depending on their answers he would decide what to do with them.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this is a old sample of the beginning of a gundam wing roleplay I was doing for a while. Relena was mock assassinated by her vice in order to start a riot among the people of earth and the colonies. She was left alive so that she would take the blame for the war her vice was planning to start.

This can be my average post length but more then often it's not. If you're interested in roleplaying with me please mail me. I can adjust my literacy if needed. Normally I rarely play made up character unless asked to or the setting calls for made up.

My name tag sez:

Kadington but please call me Kad or Kaddy or something that remotely sounds like Kadington.

My little quirks:

I’ll be truthful; I’m not so good at writing. Not something everyone wants to hear but hear me out. I have a right hand that has nerve damage, so I miss letters and spaces sometimes when I type. Secondly, I have a horrible case of dyslexia. It’s so bad in fact; I couldn’t honestly start spelling until the age of 10. I can read something over and over again that is incorrect and my brain will miss the clear mistake every time. Only after years and years of training myself how to write did I finally get to where I am today. I encourage people to be grammar and spelling Nazis around me because I improve if the standards are set high enough. Even with my flaws I still can role play at a literate level.

My own set of standards:

1. Don’t take it personal but I don’t do Yaoi or Yuri that often. I will do it under rare circumstances.
2. I like romance but I like slow building romance.
3. I have limits, anything above R I won’t do. I only say this because I suck writing such stuff. Granted if you want gore, I have no limit on that.
4. If you are literate enough to be here; then you are literate enough to give me something to work with that more than 100 words right?
5. If something goes wrong in your life, that's fine. Just try and tell me what’s going on, only if you can.
6. Language doesn’t bother me at all. So, swear as many times as you feel like it, but just give me the same freedom.
7. Keep the role play alive. If it’s starting to die; we should be brainstorming ways to keep it alive.
8. Don’t let things become too serious to the point nothing funny can happen. I thrive on humor and I will find something funny to add every now and then.
9. If I make mistakes; don’t take offense to it. I can edit until my brain turns to mush and still not notice the fact I missed spelled a word or I forgot a word entirely.

How I role:

Generally I RP fandom cannons. I consider myself as having a talent for playing cannons. Even though I said this it doesn’t mean I lack the creative ability to make my own characters.
I currently use do styles of role play, Regular and Active Story.
Regular is pretty straight forward, it’s the way 99 percent of people role play.
Active Story role play I’d only do in a fandom role play. Each person picks a character to play, and posts in first person as that character. The difference between this style and regular is that during your post anything can happen and you are allowed to narrate actions for the other players. Plot is never discussed out of the role play you simply go with what the last person posted. There are a few restrictions when you are acting for another character, you can’t harm that character and you can’t make them do something they wouldn’t do. If you are interested in this style I can go into greater details about it.

My little list of genres:

The forest was still. Not a creature stirred as the moon bathed the forest in a warm glow. A light wind picked up from the east rustling the trees and breaking the serene silence. A shadow appeared on the forest floor for no longer then a second as it broke from one tree to the next. Two more shadows followed moving in unison after the first. The sound of the rustling tree did well to drown out any noise the shadows could produce. They had been trained in the art of stealth and even the most skill of enemy would have trouble finding them in this forest.
They moved as a group the leader moving in front followed by the other two. For hours they had been moving like this, quickly and silently. Only when the leader stopped raising his left hand did the whole party come to a halt. A silent hand signal informed the two followers to what they needed to do. Only a second after the command had been given did the two split off disappearing into the forest in different directions. The leader remained still the scent of blood in the air making him cringe slightly under the strange white dog mask he hid his face behind. The forest was dead, not even the breath of animals gave life to the leader’s surroundings. Clearly something had happened… Something horrible.

A moment later the two that had been following him appeared once again behind him, both of them coming slightly into view as the moon light coated their shadowy appearance. They wore the exact same gear as the leader but the masks where different, a cat and a mouse.

“All clear, whoever did this is long gone” the voice of the one behind the mouse mask was muffled by the mask but was clearly female.

The leader paused as his gaze danced over the scene just a few yards away. The mangled bodies of those just ahead were a gruesome sight to behold. Limbs spread gored strewn about as be headed carcasses lay with eyes wide open. Blood coated everything.. Who ever had done this had no respect for who they killed.

“Assessment?” The leader asked his voice like the other distorted by the mask but it was male and clearly an older male.

“Two people, one wielded a sword, the other used a earth based jutsu for most of his attacks.” The one being the cat mask replied before adding. “It was a surprise attack, leaving the team no means of defense”

“Point of departure?” The leader spoke.

“Northeast” came the mouse mask’s quick answer.

No time should be wasted. If it was the people who did this might get away. Giving a brief nod to the other two the leader took off disappearing into the trees. Quick to follow was the cat and the mouse, but before they left they couldn’t help but glance towards the gory scene. A silent prayer whispered to those who had perished for the sake of Konoha…

It was that picture on his nightstand that broke his heart every morning. A reflection of his life before this city became hell. Her smiling face was something he could only see in this photograph and in his memories of her. As he rolled over to hit the alarm; he always paused. Gazing upon the picture with distant eyes as he remembered the time she was in his life. His memories were short lived as a large something jumped onto his chest, promptly knocking the wind out of him.

“Wolf!!!” The cowboy yelped loud enough to wake the other dog sleeping next to him as the air escaped his chest.

The mutt simply wagged his tail to and fro as his tongue massaged the stubble on Duo’s cheek. A groan escaped from Duo as he pushed the dog off his chest and on the bed next to his other canine. Arousing himself out of bed, a chill ran up his spine as his bare feet hit the cold concrete floor.

Around him the hollow walls of tin shack he lived in could seem depressing. The only thing that kept Duo from swallowing himself in the temptation of depression was hope. Hope that one day this would all be nothing but a bad distant memory. He held hope that one day he would return to his ranch back home and properly scatter the ashes of that woman in the photo.

Plucking his ten gallon hat off the nightstand, he placed it on top of his head before looking towards the two dogs that sat on his bed.

“I reckon ya dogs wanna be goin’ outside?” The thick accent spoke of his true place of origin. This man wasn’t from the city but the rural areas out west.

Both animals bolted towards the door at the statement, only casting a quick glance behind them to make sure the cowboy was coming. Once on his feet Duo followed the dogs to the door and opened it. As soon as the door was opened enough for the dogs to squeeze through they bolted out into the ghetto.

The air was chilled and it pricked the exposed skin of chest and bare feet. Still, this simple irritation weren’t enough to keep Duo from leaning against his door frame and watching his dogs run free. Crossing his arms across his chest, his blue eyes traveled towards the skyscrapers. Hard to believe this man was a lycanthrope, much less the leader of the rebellion against the tyrant the city called a mayor.

“One day… Judgment will be comin’ and the howls of my kin will be soundin' all over this city”

The sound of her ear buds could be heard coming from her head. Clearly the music Mizuki was listening to was a tad bit too loud. Still this fact didn’t seem to bother her as her hair danced around her and the drumsticks in her hand kept perfect beat to the music blaring from her head. Around her she seemed oblivious to the world, as she mouthed the words to the song continuing to keep perfect beat on what ever was in reach. Her companion Jayce didn’t seem so amused by this display but he didn’t bother to say anything about it.

An hour ago both of them had said good bye to their friends and packed for a place either had been before. A strange thing considering they had toured the world, rocking out and drawing a crowd where ever they went. Ah the perk of being famous. Now both of them where headed to a land where their fame could possibly not mean a thing. Not that fame matter but it was just something one got use to after a while. Hopefully the place both of them where headed would at least understand the two crazy obsession with music.

Titan Castle towered before them, but Mizuki seemed unaware of the looming structure for she was far to absorbed in her music to play much attention to anything but beat and rhythm. That wasn’t the case for Jayce; he was taken back by the grandeur of the structure and mentally kicking himself for not dressing better when meeting those inside. Glancing at Mizuki he reached over and unplugged the headphones from their jack causing the drummer to stop her jamming instantly and look at him.

“Are you going to meet your Princess jamming to the beat of AC/DC?” Jayce questioned ignoring Mizuki discontent look from having her music halted.

“If I said yes, would you think less of me?” Mizuki challenged spinning one of her drumsticks in her hand.

Jayce seemed to think about this a moment before he sighed. “Well she’s not my princess so no.. not really, but you’d disappoint your mom” Jayce replied wisely.

Mizuki eyes narrowed slightly. “I so would if you hadn’t pulled the mom card, jerk” Both Jayce and Mizuki knew she really didn’t mean it.

To say Mizuki was nervous could of very well have been an understatement. Mizuki was chronic with worry; after all she had no clue of her Sailor Jupiter status until about 5 months ago. Honestly if it wasn’t for her honoring her duty as her mother’s daughter Mizuki would of preferred to turn around and go back on tour with her friends. There was no way she wanted to be the princess of Jupiter and the scout of said planet. She’d much rather be Ivy Mosely, the drummer and band member of band Unified Grounds.

“Well… Here we are… A day late. You think the princess will be mad?” Mizuki words trailed off as uneasiness settle in her voice.

“Dude, we had to play the last gig of our tour, duty to the fans” Jayce tired to reassure.

“Apparently I have a duty to the universe to be some sort of skimpily clad soldier that whips lightning around and protects a person I don’t even know and saves the universe. Dude that so sure sounds like it should take precedence over a bunch of fans” Mizuki shot back.

“I think you look good in your scout uniform” Jayce stated in some sort of lame defense.

“You would. You so would, horny b*****d” Mizuki rolled her eyes before she started for the doors of castle putting her hair up in a bun with her drumsticks as she went.

“Hey, I’m not” Jayce retorted as he followed Mizuki grabbing both of their bags.

The guards shot them weird looks before Mizuki flashed the Jupiter transformation pen and they seemed to instantly snap to attention. Opening the doors for the two musicians the Guards ushered them in allowing them into the halls of the grand castle. For a second the two didn’t seem to know what to do before Mizuki turned to the guard.

“Can one of you tell Princess Kiara, Mizuki Kino who is Sailor Jupiter has arrived and that I apologize for being late” Mizuki said to the guard at the door in fluent Japanese.

The guard nodded and scurried off down the corridor leaving Mizuki and Jayce all alone with in the entrance way. Either of them knew what to do next and honestly no one was around to tell them what to do. Hopefully someone would come along that knew what to do.

"By the way thanks Jayce" Mizuki quietly said in to the silence of the entry way.

Jayce only shrugged. "No problem Mizuki"

Not knowing what to expect about this new situation was half the fun, they only hoped that what was waiting for them in this castle was pleasant…

The night was colder than most, exhaling brought with it small clouds. Anyone one out this night either needed a reason to be out here or they were just stupid. Maybe she had both, something she didn’t want to think about too long. This was a city where the unexpected could and would happen, evil demons, aliens, and monsters; yep this city had its fill of such stuff and then some. That is why she was out here; searching for those things the police didn’t bother responding to. The police could only do so much against magical beasts that had been rampaging around the city.

Up higher the view was breath taking but the chill in the air worsened as the icy wind bombarded from the north. The cold snap was expected to pass in a few days, until then the city of Crystal Tokyo would be under the weather so to speak until then. Wrapping her arms around her slender frame did little to keep out the chill, not to mention the mini skirt wasn’t doing much to aid in her struggle to keep warm. Still she would remain up here for at least another 15 or so minutes, it was her duty to stay until her watch was over at the very least.

As her icy eyes scanned the city below, she tried not to think of the term paper due that morning or the fact she’d be function again with only 5 hours sleep. She needed a break but with the current madman on the loose there was little she could do. Her duty was to protect the earth, the moon, and dreams. She didn’t need to go to school, she didn’t need to try and act like a normal 25 year old, but she still did. It was like a release if one could say a reassurance that even with all the chaos that surrounded her life she could still be normal. So what if she couldn’t ace her test? Her grandmother barely passed high school and her mother never went to college. She was the first woman in her line to pursue such things and that made her feel in some small way able to measure up to the greatness of the women in her line. For she was able to accomplish something they couldn’t, she was able to be more than them in some way.

Taking a deep breath, she checked her watch. It was almost 2 oh clock in the morning. Isis turn was next to keep an eye on the city. Currently the city was under war with a man that called himself Apollo. He appeared 2 months ago out of nowhere practically and started causing chaos around the city turning civilians unto monsters using the power of chaos. He seemed to be looking for something, but what exactly that was something no one knew. He had malicious intent and killing wasn’t something he was above of, the people of Crystal Tokyo were scared, hell even she was a bit scared of what exactly was going to happen. If he found what he was looking for, he could very well become more of threat then he already was. This couldn’t happen not if she had anything to say about it.

“Sailor Moon where are you?” The sound of her watch echoed into the crisp night chill.

Looking down at her watch, the watch face dissolved away showing an image of her mooncat Isis. Isis was one of the two people Sailor Moon protected the city with, the other being an Elysion priest called Aurora. Both of them were trusted allies and Sailor Moon was happy to have their help protecting Crystal Tokyo from whatever threat Apollo would perceive.

“On top of the crystal spire” Her voice was low and emotionless though not intentionally so.

The mooncat nodded. “Alright, get some sleep. You need the rest” the cat said before her face disappeared from the watch face.

“Thanks…” She replied even if her message never got through.

Glancing down at the street below, she reflected that it was always a lot easier to get up safely then it was to get down. The street currently was around 600 or so feet down, and a simple jump from here even with her scout powers would be dangerous. Glancing at the building just next door to hers, she estimated the jump to be a lot less of a chance of breaking her neck. Gather up her resolve, she took a leap of faith and was airborne. She landed on the other building with the grace of the ninja before running to the edge of the building with another leap of faith.

Gravity made sure she continued a graceful decent to the ground but her actions made sure she didn’t kill herself as she reached the street below. Using one building to bounce off the next she slowed herself down before finally landing safely on the cold concrete of the urban jungle of Crystal Tokyo. Glancing back up, she smirked; feeling as if she had somehow beat gravity at its own game coming down. It was warmer down on the streets as the building shielded her from the chill of the wind. Out of the eyes of the public, she let down her transformation finding warmth in the winter parka that she had worn to school before she had started her shift.

Snuggling down into the heavy winter coat, she descended into the bare streets of Crystal Tokyo. Not many were stirring at the current hour and the ones who were, either gave her a funny look as if wondering why she was out at this time of night or didn’t seem to care as they rushed on their way determined to find warmth at their next destination. She still pressed on, wanting not thing more than a warm bed to snuggle into and for sleep to embrace her aching form.

It was the scream that saw to it she wouldn’t be getting her wish. Part of her just didn’t want to answer it; still the greater part of her knew she had to. She could never turn her back on someone who needed her just as much as her grandmother or mother could do. Cursing both her upbringing as well as her bleeding heart, she darted into an alley way out of view of the scarce population of people still out on the cold night. In an instant she was no longer a college student but the savior of love and justice Sailor Moon once again.

Darting out of her concealed place, she charged towards the sound of the scream knowing that kind of scream all too well. It was the frightened and heated scream of someone faced with a monster. The sound of destruction that echoed off the still streets confirmed what she was dealing with. Another Youma of a person turned into pure Chaos. With the realization she hastened her movement as she summoned a scepter into her hand. She needed to alert her ally of this new development and placing the watch a few inches from her mouth she relayed.

“Isis we got a Youma, somewhere near London Park” Her words were colder than before and almost had the same icy chill the wind carried this night.

“Alright, headed there now” Came back the response from the wrist watch.

As she stepped into the park, the monster slithered into view chasing a woman more than likely in her late thirties. What she was doing out here at this time in this weather, Sailor Moon didn’t wish to know. All she knew was that Apollo had struck again. Gripping her scepter tighter, she ignored the burn of furry that rose in her gut as she forced herself to concentrate on the matter at hand.

“Moon Cleansing Manipulation!” Came the last shout the Youma would hear.

The creature crumbled under the attack, breaking in a way that it revealed the soul under the monster exterior. Sailor Moon was lucky to catch the Youma off guard this time, she hadn’t been so lucky in the past before but she wouldn’t waste her time with fruitless introduction like her mother or grandmother before it. Straight and to the point seemed the best course of action in any fight in which one has to stake their lives. The youma’s hideous exterior disintegrated away to reveal a man in his late thirties. Chaos made people into monster, and it took a unique brand of magic to set them back straight again.

“And here I was hoping for more of a show” a sing song voice filtered into Sailor Moon’s ears.

In an instant the warrior of the moon froze. She knew that voice all too well, and she had come to despise it even more every time she heard it. Her hand balled into a fist as her other just kept a tight hold on the moon scepter. Slowly she turned to face the owner of the voice, trying to keep the rage from showing on her face.

Apollo was a handsome man; Sailor Moon would give him that. He had deep chocolate colored eyes that seemed warm and inviting and a smile that could woo a raging grizzly bear. The dark bronze tint to his skin made him look like he had a permanent tan and no doubt he had come from a much more fair weather place before coming to Crystal Tokyo. He had long blonde hair that cascading in waves off his head and down his back mid way. His winter jacket did well to hide the firm and tone body underneath and Sailor Moon could only curse him for being able to wear a jacket well she stood in a sleeveless jumpsuit.

“Apollo” His name escaped her clenched teeth with a hiss.

“Ah my dear Sailor Moon… Both of us just seemed destined to fight. Too bad, I much rather make love” Apollo said with his fake smile firmly in place.

No one really bore witness to what happened that night, but in the morning London Park was nothing more than a large crater…

((A sample from a Resident Evil Roleplay that seemed to impress the creator of the board. In character as Chris Redfield, Setting: an infected western style town))
Barreling through the doors of the old drug store, Chris did a quick 3 second sweep of the area. When nothing moved, he put his back flat against the wall next to the western style doors. At least 3 creatures were approaching his location fast, all 3 clearly disfigured from the parasites that now infected them. From what he could tell one had been a rabbit at one time with the other two being coyotes. For a second Chris could only choke back the idea of a killer rabbit reminded solely about the small white rabbit that plagued Monty Python on his quest for the Holy Grail. Still the fact that Chris was still in REAL danger sobered him up as he took aim at the faster moving Coyotes.

The sound of gunfire boom into the air as one of the monsters fell before the skill of the former S.T.A.R.S. marksman. There was no hesitation as he took aim at the other creature and fired once again, this time a strange yelp filled the air along with the sound of gunfire as the lesser canine was put to rest for good. Keeping his gun trained in front of him, his eye swept the dusty western style road of the last of the trio of creatures that wanted him dead. Unfortunately the rabbit was gone…

Confusion and concern washed over Chris’ face for a moment before a moan and something moving out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. From the dark recesses of the pharmacy, an infected human charged into view wielding a crude club as it bull rushed Chris. Chris was fast to react, throwing up his arms over his face and taking the brunt of the blow to the outside of his forearms.

“Die… Die… Eat..” The creature gargled as it swung.

The smell of decay reached Chris’ noise as he came with in such close contact with the infected. No doubt the blood that caked the infected one’s torn and ragged shirt wasn’t all its own. Reaching back the monster moved to take another wing at Chris, but Redfield knew he had to react fast before he didn’t more than just a badly bruised forearm. Shifting his weight to his back left foot in a instant he grabbed the club in midair before the infected human could hit him with it again, then planted a square kick to the infected one’s mid section. The creature staggered back no longer able to control its balance crashing into one of the tables in the pharmacy. Before the infected one had a chance to stand again, Chris planted a bullet in its skull.

(Another Gundam Wing sample. In Character as Chang Wufei. Setting: Preventer's HQ with the threat of bioterrorism hanging int he air))

    Chang Wufei
    ~o~
    "I will determine justice!"

User ImageChang Wufei barely noticed that in his frustrated state, that the sound of his fingers tapping across his desk increased in volume to the point it was putting everyone in a ten foot radius on edge. No Nataku’s former pilot was far to agitated to notice such thing, as such no one dared to currently venture towards him for fear of the martial artist’s rage be bought upon them. Wufei did have a bit of an anger problem, but at least his rage was justified this morning. So far the Preventers had done little to mount an assault against MI-81’s, instead gathering intelligence about them. Wufei understood the need for intelligence but he felt the need to act was far greater.

Casting his gaze down to the vanilla colored folder on his desk, the Preventer tried to focus his mind off his unbridled energy to want to do more. In less Lady Une gave him the all clear to move out, he’d be stuck here at the office pushing papers until he was pushing up daisies. Another factor that played into his anger… Wufei hated paperwork. He hated having to sit behind a desk, reading black text on bleach white paper until his eyes wanted to explode. The paperwork never seemed to end either, once he got done with a current set someone always came by and dropped off more. How where there still trees on earth? With the amount of trees that needed to be slaughtered to keep up with the amount of paper that ran through Preventer HQ; it was no doubt to Wufei that trees were being slaughtered at that very minute to keep up with the flow of paper.

Flipping open the folder, his eye were assaulted with the accursed black text that more than filled up the page. A low inaudible grumble escaped his lips before he opened the right side drawer of his desk, pulling up his glasses case from the drawer’s dark depths. Wufei rarely ever wore his glasses in all honesty, not that he hated them he only really needed them well reading for long periods of time. Something about the way his eyes focused on small text made him prone to headaches so his glasses eased his eyes so he didn’t need to focus so hard. Sliding the slim black frames onto his face, he instantly gained a more studious edge to him. Scanning the report; 05 found nothing of interest other then the fact that the Watcher seemed to be ever growing in numbers.

“Chang Wufei, Lady Une has requested your presence…” The person paused as Wufei glanced up through the top of his glasses a brow perked with interest. “She told me it was urgent” Wufei’s fellow Preventer finished before turning and disappearing out of Wufei’s cubicle rather quickly.

With a sigh the Chinese man took off his glasses and rose to his feet. A meeting with Une could only mean two things: 1, He was late on some kind of paperwork or 2, Something big was about to happen. Wufei hoped it was the later of the two, for he really didn’t want to be responsible for the slaughter of another tree. Stretching slightly to work his stiff muscles the Preventer then threw his Preventer jacket over his shoulders before stepping out into the hallway. Sliding his arms through the jacket, he was quick to adjust his collar just as he stepped into his boss’s office.

“What do you need…?” Wufei instantly bit back the urge to call Lady Une ‘Woman’, even still his normal animosity seemed to seep into his words.

Lady Une didn’t move from her spot at the window with her back facing Wufei. She seemed to take a moment to think but to Wufei it was if she was disrespecting him by making him wait. Calming his already burning anger, he crossed his arm across his chest and simply waited to be addressed. After a moment or two Lady Une let out a small sigh before turning to the former gundam pilot.

“I want you out there with the others…” the commanding officer of the Preventer’s started.

“Everything we’ve been doing has done nothing to help our current situation” Wufei held back his urge to say ‘what did you expect?’ “I need you to meet up with the others and get to the bottom of this Wufei”

By ‘others’ Wufei knew that could only mean the other gundam pilots.

“Very well” Wufei stated putting his tone into a calmer pitch.

“I’ve made sure to keep close watch on the others. All the information you need to find them is in here” With a sweep of her hand Lady Une peeled a folder from her desk before holding it out towards 05.

The pilot took the folder and nodded before turning to leave only to be stop by his commander’s words. “Good Luck”

“I don’t need luck; I already know where they are…” Wufei smirked before he disappeared out of the office.

Chris stared down at the PDA in his hands as if was some type of foreign object he had never seen before. He had just hung up on Claire… Rudely at that. He hadn’t meant to do it but what she was proposing… Chris shook his head; Flame wanted him out of her life. Chris had Jill now that should be enough. Only a month ago he had himself convinced that she had just been Jill replacement but after she had told him that they should see other people, the elder Redfield was left to wonder exactly what the mysterious woman he had met in Deadwood really was to him. Clearly she met more than he had first imagined.

Sighing to himself at his predicament, Chris ran his hand through his hair as he got up from his couch. Idly he could hear Jill out in the yard with Ripley enjoying their last moment together before the large shepherd had to go back to Jill’s parent’s house. Even after taking care of the lovable white dog for 3 years as soon as Jill was back in his life Ripley became glued to her as if he was afraid she would leave him again. Chris could only guess the fear was rational but the dog didn’t even seem to acknowledge Chris’s existence in less he wanted something. Ripley had always been a dog that preferred woman anyways. He had instantly taken a liking to Flame and Felicia the little time they spent with Chris but that seemed like ages ago now. Shaking his head to will away such memories, Chris put away his PDA; Claire would yell at him later no doubt for giving her such a vague answer before hanging up.

Even though the answer had been vague it didn’t make it a lie. Chris really was scheduled for another mission. It was hopefully going to be a lot easier than his last two. The outline of the mission was to stop an illegal transport of live B.O.W.s for some underground animal fighting ring. Apparently some people paid big money to watch mutants kill each other. Stepping in would insure none of the B.O.W.s got out and caused a public threat. Depending on what type of B.O.W.s they could be facing the public threat could be switched to a biohazard threat should they find something known for spreading infections.

The back door slid open and in charged the great white German shepherd slightly foaming at the mouth as it tossed its head back and forth killing the squeaky toy in its mouth. Jill came in a few steps behind, a warm smile across her face. Chris turned his attention to his partner; her smile was infectious to him causing his own signature smirk to rise up on his face. Jill crossed the room, taking a seat on the couch next to him, the dog following like a lumbering shadow at her heels.

So who was on the phone?” Jill suddenly asked her expression quickly turning a bit serious.

Chris went silent, caught between a look of a kid with his hand stuck in the cookie jar and amazement at his partner for hearing that highly annoying ringtone his sister programmed into his phone from all the way outside. Chris knew that Jill knew who was associated with that ring tone; which lead to Chris to ponder the question deeper. Jill was basically asking him why he hung up on his sister, she understood the sibling relationship extremely well after all she had known both of them since they first joined S.T.A.R.S. and Chris Redfield never hung up on his sister like that. Frowning Chris focused his attention on the Samurai Edge currently sitting on the coffee table in front of him.

It’s nothing…” Chris said slowly clearly avoiding telling her the whole truth.

No it’s not…” Jill was quick to persist before she reached out and put her hand on his shoulder. “Chris I don’t know what you are not telling me… but are you sure keeping me in the dark is a good idea? We are partners and we can trust each other with anything

Chris turned to Jill, his expression unreadable. What was he going to tell her? He was confused, he didn’t even know where is own emotions lie. He loved her? He loved someone else? His blue eyes seemed to swirl with his inter conflict as he looked into Jill’s steel colored ones.

Jill it’s the very reason why I can’t” Chris replied before he withdrew from Jill and grabbed his handgun off the table holstering the gun into his concealed holster.

Chris could feel Jill’s eyes on his back but he tried to ignore it the best he could. They should be heading out, the elder Redfield tried to reason as he grabbed his fedora from the hat stand by the door. The mission was basically an undercover assignment. Meaning both Chris and Jill wore street clothes only carrying their B.S.A.A. badges to identify themselves after the raid. The pair normally didn’t do undercover working because of their status as the B.S.A.A.’s top agent team, but it would seem the higher ups needed for Jill to prove herself once again on a few lower class before they’d be assigned the higher ones. This sat well with Chris because only a week ago Jill was so violently ill that she could barely move without being in agony.

The sound of keys jiggling caught his attention as Jill walked past him; she grabbed her jean jacket from the door before grabbing Ripley’s leash. Reaching for his own set of keys, Chris found his pockets empty. After a second or two of searching his eyes focused on the keys in Jill’s hands knowing she had pick pocketed them from him. Clearly Chris was losing his edge if Jill had picked his pocket that easily without him realizing either that or Jill had improved her skill in the three years they had been separated.

Looks like I’m driving…” Jill called back to Chris as she stepped out of the condo.

Chris reached for his own brown leather jacket before following Jill and the canine out the door, also grabbing the large duffle bag by the door. Locking his door before she shut it Chris moved to catch up with Jill and her dog. Throwing the jacket on, the Samurai Edge strapped to his chest become invisible and he looked simply like any normal civilian following his girlfriend out of his apartment. Jill’s jacket hid her custom PX4 the same way. The duffle bag Chris was carrying was there backup plan if any of the B.O.W.s escaped or got let free in the raid. It held there other weapons they’d be bring on the mission, things powerful enough to take down a tyrant if need be.

Once outside, Chris glanced up at the overcast darken sky. It was going to rain today there was no doubt. Chris had heard from the radio just before he got up that they were expecting a downpour later today. They said it was a good day to stay in, in less you had somewhere to be. Hopefully both Chris and Jill would already be out of D.C. before the rain hit. He really didn’t want to delay their plane ride out of here because he was the one piloting. He could fly in bad weather but that didn’t mean he wanted too any time soon.

As Jill put Ripley into the backseat, Chris placed the large duffle bag into the very back of his dark green Hummer H2, and then moved around to the passenger side. Jill unlocked the doors before climbing into the driver’s seat, adjusting the seat to fit her more petite stature. She remained silent and Chris could tell she was upset about what he had said earlier. Wishing he could of given her a better answer then he had he glanced at his partner and folded his arms.

Just when I get everything adjusted to the way I want it, some woman comes along and messes it all up” Chris grumbled half heartedly.

Jill didn’t say anything for a moment or two and Chris feared he had made the wrong move before his partner turned and shot him a mock glare. “Get use to it. You're a gorilla and 90 percent of the world isn’t.” Jill shot back with her silver colored tongue.

Are you comparing me to an ape?” Chris asked leaning against the passenger side door.

You’re digging your own grave with a comment like that” Jill replied casually as she backed the Hummer out.

Chris smirked shaking his head, Jill hadn’t lost her flare and it was comforting to know something just never changed about his partner. “It’s still a question that is in need of an answer” Chris pressed.

Jill keeping her eyes on the road shrugged. “Then yes Chris you are an ape… A large Silverback that is very protective of his females and his troop. You like to beat your chest a lot but when it comes down to it, you will fight tooth and nail for your territory” Jill paused before she glanced at Chris out of the corner of her eye. “Chris, if you’re not going to talk to me about what is bothering you please talk to Claire”

Chris glanced at his partner before he turned to look at the passing scenery his problems burning at his gut. “Alright… Once I see her again I’ll talk to Claire…

    Jill nodded. “Thanks Chris…

For a future without fear...yeah, it's worth it.

The sound of a shotgun going off just behind the tent spoke of the grim reality that was being played out. They had no cure for this virus, it was like nothing they had never seen before and the tyrant virus vaccine Hamilton had worked so hard to prefect was useless at stopping this infection. There was nothing they could do for those infected except offer them a quick death before they became a threat to anyone else. Cruel and a bit barbaric yes, but it was the only way to stop the infection from spreading. The horrid smell of burning flesh assaulted her noise as she just closed her eyes tighter trying to will out all the demons that surfaced in her mind.

    -----

F…uck… You…” Every word she struggled to get forth from her alien lips as he whole body shook with internal conflict but she refused to stop fighting. She had to get to her feet; she had to fight back…

Wesker brow rose as he watched Jill struggle against the control of the P30 chemical. She was surprisingly resistant to its affecting already requiring twice the dose per body weight that any of the animal test subjects needed. Wesker knew why thought after all, the woman struggling at his feet was known for her unbending will. She had single handedly taken out the Nemesis and with his enemy Chris’s help even Talos fell before her. He could admire that will of hers, for no doubt any normal human would be as gentle as a panda before him but Jill just continued to fight even through the pain. But there was a breaking point for everyone, Wesker just needed to find Jill’s breaking point.

Increase the dose by 15 percent” Wesker called to one of his research assistance.

“Sir, if we increase it anymore we run the risk of poisoning her” The assistance warned.

Wesker turned to the assistance contemplating what exactly that could mean before he shook his head. “Do it anyways, Valentine is our optimum test subject” Wesker responded.

The assistant nodded before inputting data into the small handheld device that controlled the P30 injection system. Wesker kept his eyes on Jill as another scream echoed from her lips before she collapsed onto the white tile floor. Her hands tried to move to claw at the unnatural device on her chest but because they were shackled behind her; all that she could really do was wither upon the ground as what felt like acid seemed to replace blood in her veins. So much pain but what was worse was the fog her mind was forced into as she seemed to be losing hold of her consciousness.

Now let’s try this again…” Wesker voice was booming and seemed to be 10 times louder then it more than likely was. “Get up

Jill struggled to make her body work for her but she was paralyzed as she lied on the floor. Everything just hurt and for the first time in her life, Jill just wished she could die right there and then. Still she refused to go down without a fight, she wouldn’t let Wesker win. Suddenly despite of the pain, Jill noticed the slim yellow aurora outline that seemed to frame Wesker. Her pain filled mind couldn’t exactly process what this was but she had to think it was some side affect from the chemical they were pumping into her body.

“Wesker Sir, we are receiving strange brain signals from the subject” One of the assistants addressed from one of the computer stations.

Wesker’s eyes turned to the assistant behind the computer but the movement was hid behind the thick darken lenses of his trademark sunglasses. His brow lowered in contemplation as if he was trying to figure out what exactly what the brain signals could mean. Clearly she was still struggling so maybe she was developing an unknown side effect from the chemical. Turning his attention back to Jill he took a step forward towards the prone female and bent over her. He was growing impatient and wanted results soon.

Valentine, why do you continue to struggle? There really is no point to it; Chris thinks you’re dead so he isn’t coming to save you from me. It’s been a well over a year now Jill… You belong to me now, and no matter what it takes I will break you. Increase by another 25 percent now!” Wesker shouted to his assistant in a voice that demanded not to be questioned.

Jill scream was inaudible as she suddenly felt like she was drowning in her own mind. She tried to claw her way back to the surface but Wesker had already put a seed of doubt with in Jill’s heart and like a tree shatters rock by growing Jill’s resolve split into hundreds of pieces. The chemical took hold as Jill’s conscious. She was forced to watch from the back of her mind as her body moved without her command. The fight was over… Wesker had won…

    ----

A sharp bark from Scott made Jill gasp as her eyes shot open. Her lung burned demanding precious oxygen as if she had been holding her breath for quite some time. As she filled her lungs with life giving oxygen she slowly released the death grip she had on her chest. Her memory had been so shockingly clear it was as if she had just relived it all over again. She was half surprised she didn’t wake up behind that bird mask and cloak once again with Excella or Wesker. But she was safe, and free from the chemical control thought not completely. The fact the chemical still burned within her made her just want to slit her wrist and bleed until every trace of the chemical was gone.

Jill you and Rebecca are going to the East Capitol Med point right?” Chris’s voice over her ear piece made Jill almost jump.

Taking in a few more breaths she knew she needed to give Chris an answer but at the moment she didn’t know if she could contain her emotions fully. “We are already there…” Jill tried to keep her voice steady and she might have been able to fool anyone but Chris.

She instantly realized her mistake a second to late; Chris would be able to see though that guise. Her breath caught again in the back of her throat a second as she hoped he didn’t catch her hesitation. She really didn’t want him worrying about her; she didn’t want anyone worrying about her. If they did that then she’d feel obligated to tell her some of the dark secret of her time under Wesker control. She’d once again have to relive the pain she so desperately tried to hide. As the sudden buzz of someone new connecting to her channel buzzed in her ear she knew he had realized it.

Jill what’s wrong?” Jill could hear the concern echo in every syllable as Chris Redfield spoke.

The former S.T.A.R.S. member knew she would have to give Chris an answer one day, but she couldn’t risk others hearing. They didn’t need to know her pain; they didn’t need to know one of the most decorated members of the B.S.A.A. now had a shattered mental state and heart. But how long could she keep up the façade? The only answer Jill could find in her shatter emotional state was she’d keep it up as long as she had to. She was still Jill Valentine, the one that slain Nemesis with her own two hands maybe she’d be alright in the long run if she just hung onto who she was before then… Before that night way back in 2006…

When she refused to answer Chris, he seemed to take it in stride taking command as he always had done in the past. Ignoring the idle chatter, Jill reached down and picked up Scott and held the small puppy close to her chest needing his comfort at that moment more than anything. She really wanted Ripley but Scott was enough for the moment. The puppy seemed to know Jill needed her and reached up licking away one of the tears Jill didn’t even realize were streaming down her face. Nuzzling into the puppy’s white coat, Jill let a single sob echo from her throat but it was muffled by Scott’s soft white fur.

Second turned into minutes before the radio silence between Chris and Jill was broken by a few words that make Jill’s heart jerk violently “Damn it Jill” Chris sounded angry and Jill couldn’t help but cringe at the tone of Chris’s voice. “You should have told me!

Jill took a deep breath as she knew Chris was clearly piecing things together like he had been taught to do back in S.T.A.R.S. She had to give him credit for piecing things together so quickly but Jill knew he didn’t understand the entire picture. Taking only a second to set her resolve, Jill willed away her feelings and bashed them to the back of her mind so she could talk to Chris clearly.

…Take care of Flame Chris. I can take care of myself… you should watch out near Capitol Hill” Jill replied before she quickly reached behind her and clicked off her radio.

Holding Scott tight, Jill slowly curled up on the dirt covered floor of the supply tent. Her fever was spiking over 100 degrees as cold sweat and tears dripped off her face. She refused to be lulled by the effects of the P30, if anyone understood even a faction of the hell she endured maybe they wouldn’t blame her for wanting to suffer through withdrawals instead of being under its effect. She’d let herself be poisoned by the chemical once Chris got there but until then, she’d gladly suffer through withdrawals hoping the pain would take her mind off the deeper scars burning in her chest.

    "I'll give you S.T.A.R.S.!"

(Medieval setting for a strange Resident Medieval setting. You don't have to know anything about Resident Evil to enjoy this post, just replace characters names and bam! original roleplay sample)

His wounds still had yet to fully heal; as he laid there staring up at the cloth ceiling of his tent sleep just won’t come to him as the dull sting of his wounds kept him up. He ached all over from bruises and no position he got into seemed comfortable. Although the bedroll he was laying on did little to comfort him from the hardness of the bare ground. His wounds would heal soon no doubt but he wondered if the sour feeling that was burning in his gut left from his mentor’s betrayal would leave any time soon. For as much as his wounds ached just enough to keep him awake his mind replayed the events over and over as if they were stuck on repeat.

Getting up, the simple tunic he wore covered most of the bandages that covered his body. All of his serious wounds had been healed by his own magical means but the minor ones would need to heal on their own; at least until he had more magical means to heal himself again. The tent was dark but the light of the moon shown in from the front flap of the tent bathing some things in a silver light and leaving just enough light to make out shadowy shapes. To his left half haphazardly discarded upon the dirt floor was his battle scarred armor. He’d need to bring it to a blacksmith soon to get out some of the dents and nicks but that could wait until he got back to Raccoon City.

The tent was fairly big, after all it was suppose to hold 3 people in it on a regular basis but right now it only held two. To his left curled up in tight ball was his partner, sound asleep but the small whimpers she made every now and then could only mean she wasn’t having a pleasant dream. He could only figure his mentor’s betrayal had hit her hard as well after all she looked up to his mentor the same way he did. In the reflection of the moon light he caught the sparkle of silvery glow off his partner’s face. She was always so strong but it would seem she couldn’t hide her true emotion in her sleep. For a second he just watched her, pondering if he should release her from her dreams or if he should let her get the sleep he knew she needed.

A second or two of debating in silence was stopped when she gave a fierce shutter and quickly thrashed to her other side. Deciding not to let her suffer in her sleep anymore he reached out and gently shook her shoulder. He knew she was awake as soon as he felt her tense under his fingertips. It was a habit she had more than likely developed long ago, but he was lucky that this time she didn’t have a dagger inches from his face before she realized it was him.

“Chris…?” She asked almost silently with a bit of drowsiness to her tone.

“You were having a bad dream Jill…” Chris said quietly as his gaze turned towards the moonlight that spilled into the tent.

Jill didn’t reply instead she grabbed Chris’s arm and held it close to her like a child would a stuffed animal and curled back up again. The closeness didn’t seem to bother him in the slightest. For it, Chris didn’t mind when Jill found comfort in him because he found comfort in her at times. Chris didn’t know how to define his and Jill’s relationship, for it was complicated beyond even his understanding. Maybe one day after their adventures were done would he finally be able to understand but until that day, he wouldn’t bother wasting the time pondering the indefinable. Right now Chris had to worry about his mentor, and the evil that plague this land.

The tent once again became bathed in silence; only the sound of crickets and the chatter of the two men standing guard over the camp they were in could be heard. It had to be well past midnight, and they had a long ride tomorrow before they even came close to their hometown. Chris had to remind himself that he should get some sleep but again the dull ache and the way his mind refused to quiet down would make sleep impossible. Hopefully he wouldn’t fall asleep on the ride home; oh his mount would never let him hear the end of it if that happened. Unicorns were proud noble creatures so how did he end up with the loudmouth spiteful one?

Holstering up his left leg up, Chris put his chin against it trying to find a comfortable median between sitting up and resting. This new position seemed to fit him well as he felt the lulling darkening sleep begin to rack his aching body. He welcomed the void knowing it wouldn’t be long before daybreak came and he be forced to move his body once again. Closing his eyes he drifted off into a slight slumber…

This feeling of sleep was not meant to last before the harsh boom of a fiery explosion and the shouts of men caused Chris’s to awake fully once again. Before he could even process what was happening, Jill was up like a speeding horse dagger in hand and eyes softly glowing with her untainted magical energy. The shouts grew loudly forcing Chris to focus as he reached for his blade amongst his armor. An attack in the middle of the night meant he wouldn’t have time to dawn his armor but his pride as a Paladin saw to it he wasn’t afraid to leave without it. His shield that bore the Redfield family crest was next to appear in his hands as Jill threw on her magical cloak and headed out of the tent flap. Following after his partner the smell of smoke instantly assaulted his nose as flames seem to lick up the other side of the camp. His mind reeled as he knew this attack pattern to be one the mysterious Fae was known for. Whoever this Fae person was… Chris wasn’t in the mood to go easy…

((Bleach sample in character as Kurosaki Ichigo. Setting, Ichigo let his hollow take control and well his hollow thought it'd be fun to take on Shinji.. Ulquiorra appears off in the distance))

    User ImageXXXXXXXXUser ImageXXXXXXXXUser ImageXXXXXXXXUser ImageXXXXXXXX

He was ready for whatever Shinji threw at him; after all he had fought them all once before even if in this reality it had never happened… yet. The Vizards thought they could control there hollow powers better than him was a hollow himself well he was about to be shocked. As the explosion echoed in the air as the two cero’s meet in mid air, he remained still acutely aware as Shinji appeared over head of him via the aid of the flash step. Apparently the vizard leader couldn’t give up his shinigami roots for he was still using Shinigami fight style just without his soul cutter.

As Shinji’s foot came down it looked like it made a solid hit on the hollow but it quickly became apparent that the hollow had used an after imagine, reappearing a few feet away. Shinji seemed to respond instantly to the change firing another cero but this one missing much of the bite as the other due to its fast charge. Ceros were an attack that was meant to be focused and quickly firing the attack lead to a weak attack, but surely the vizard realized this. Raising his hand up, he defected the destructive ball of red light with a sweep of his clawed hand before using his other hand to charge another tri focused Cero of his own.

The attack was more of diversion then something that would actually cause damage to his opponent, for as soon as he release the powerful blast, he quickly begun to charge another blast and headed towards Shinji in the wake of his first Cero using the ball of energy to conceal his spiritual pressure making the ball appear slightly more dangerous then it truly was. Soon the difference between a hollow style and shinigami’s would play out for he wasn’t afraid of getting hurt by his own attacks if it meant he did more damage to his opponent in the long run. He ran off instinct well Shinji was using his keen intellect to try and keep one step ahead. How long with that kind of strategy work?

Unfortunately no one would find out, for a spiritual pressure that was familiar to both the king and the horse tainted the air, and even caused the hollow to pause.

    Ulquiorra….

The words were soaked with so much rage and emotion that even he was shocked at the King’s level of hatred. In an instantly the hollow pulled out of his attack feeling the king clawing to the surface and taking control. He knew he couldn’t keep control for long with the King’s raising hatred so instead of simply giving up the body he had taken, he figured he drag the King back into the subconscious where he and Zengetsu both dwelled. In a way he left the King’s body on auto pilot as the land of the sideways skyscrapers came into focus a heavy downpour already soaking the area.

Give me back my damn body!” Ichigo snarled as he stood before his hollow.

The hollow smirked. “You let me have it, now why would I want to give it up now?

Ichigo reached back grasping the hilt of his sword and drew forth Zengetsu pointing the sword at the hollow threateningly. The hollow make no move to grab the sword off his own back as he stood there smirking at Ichigo for the sword Ichigo had brandished in his direction wasn’t the normal cleaver but the seal katana he had focused Zengetsu into at the start of his battle with Shinji. Ichigo who was always use to drawing Zengetsu forth as the massive cleaver shaped sword, quickly realized the difference in his sword.

What have you done to Zengetsu?” Ichigo yelled.

The hollow shrugged his eyes dancing with delight. “Nothing King, don’t tell me you’ve never seen a sealed sword before

Ichigo held his sword out in front of him. “Zengetsu come forth

Ichigo said as he poured spiritual pressure into the sword trying to get it to revert back to its cleaver shape. When nothing happened Ichigo let out another growl of frustration as he looked at the hollow accusingly. The hollow quickly cocked its head back and let out a chuckle. At this point Ichigo had enough and charged at the hollow his frustration burning in his hazel eyes. The hollow reacted quickly drawing forth its own mirrored version of the seal sword letting it met the other sword in mid air.

Don’t tell me, you don’t know Zengetsu release command? Are you really that stupid king?” The hollowed mocked as the two swords ran against each other.

It’s not his fault…” A suddenly third voice called to the two fighters though the rain. “He has only released me from my sealed form once…

The hollow jumped back letting Ichigo stumble slightly as the King’s eyes turned to the spiritual form of his beloved sword. Zengetsu stood calmly near the edge of the skyscraper, his robes billowing around him in an invisible wind as he stood on the sealed version of the sword both the hollow and the human hand in their hands. His sunglasses reflected both the hollow and the substitute shinigami within their lens.

How do I release you Old man?” Ichigo suddenly asked wanting to get to point of this conversation.

Zengetsu’s face remained impassive as he looked at Ichigo. “It’s something I can’t teach you it’s something your heart must know. You know my name and hear my voice so you are already half way there

Ichigo sneered. “I don’t have time for your games! Ulquiorra’s out there and I have to save Ishida” His impatience ringing in each word he spoke.

The hollow chuckled again before holding out bring the seal katana to his side and suddenly in a flash of energy it was drawn forth this time as the familiar cleaver shaped sword. The words he spoke to revert the sealed sword to the cleaver lost to Ichigo. The hollow’s sword of course was the exact opposite of Ichigo’s normal one with the colors inverted. Smirking at the king, he held the sword out before charging. Again the clang of swords run in the air as the shikai meant the seal sword. Ichigo was quickly pushed back by the sheer force of the hollows attack.

Looks like I’m gonna keep your body for good King if you can’t beat me again” The hollow grinned.

Like hell!” Ichigo shouted back, putting more muscle into the sealed sword and suddenly driving up his energy. “Bankai!

    Nothing happened…

The hollow that had a worried look appear in its eyes for a second reeled back its head and let out a long chuckle almost falling over as Ichigo stood there with only the seal katana in his hand. Ichigo’s rage was building as his eyes turned towards Zengetsu with an accusing stern look, burning to know why he couldn’t get into bankai. Zengetsu’s face continued to remain impassive before he spoke.

Only a true master may skip Shikai and go directly to bankai. You have an adept mastery over me Ichigo but I can’t consider you a true master.” The sword explained answering the question that burned in his wielder’s eyes.

I’ll show you how it’s done King!” The hollow grin with delight as he spoke. “For mastery over Zengetsu is something I’ve obtained long ago

The hollow flicked the sword to its side instant sealing the cleaver back into its long Katana form before he brought it back around to his front. Holding the sword in front of him in the classic bankai form, the joy from the hollows eyes seemed to disappear as he concentrated on what he had to do. A white auroa circled around the hollows feet as white lighten began to crackle in the air at the energy come forth from the demon. An explosion of power was the last signal of the change before a white bankai hollow stood before both Zengetsu and Ichigo. The hollow smirked at the king as he surged forward once again; deadly intent in his golden eyes.

Against the power of his own bankai, Ichigo was easily thrown back skidding against the skyscraper before finally stopping a good hundred feet from where his seal sword and the daitō of his bankai had collided for only a second. Ichigo slowly got to his feet, his body aching at the effort. Glaring at the hollow, he knew he had too much to lose in this fight to actually lose.

I can’t let you win” Ichigo determination ebbing from each syllable.

The hollow swung the pure white long katana around and let it rest against his shoulder as he watched the King’s struggle. The hollow’s brow rose slightly as he watched; his smirk fading into a thin line as his lips pressed together. Ichigo took to the offensives this time, clearing the space between him and his hollow in a heartbeat and swinging with his seal sword. The hollow didn’t seem too affected as it quickly deflected the seal blade and all other attacks Ichigo launched at it.

You claim you won’t let me win but with weak attack like these, what do you hope to possibly do to me. If you want your body back, your gunna have to do better than this.” The hollow chastised before with a flick of his sword sent Ichigo flying back again. “Granted you don’t even know your own heart or how to keep your emotions in check… You’re nothing more than wild animal that doesn’t know how strong and deadly its claws and fangs are

Ichigo got to his feet again, his sealed sword still in his hand as he glared at the hollow. “What’s that suppose to mean! I know my own heart!” The teenager retorted.

If you did, you be able to call me from a seal sword again. Ichigo you have grown a bit lazy in your training relying too much on the hollow and not enough on me as well” The spirit suddenly called into the conversation. “The very thing that clouds your heart is your own uncertainties about everything that has just happened. Wash your heart clean, Ichigo and then see the truth for your own eyes” The spirit’s voice was strong and commanding.

Ichigo glanced towards the spirit unable to deny its words. If there was anyone who knew him better then himself it was Zengetsu. His eyes flashed toward the hollow as the demon swung the sword around idly as if waiting for Ichigo to actually become a challenge rather than just out right dominating him. The hollow was ruthless, Ichigo wouldn’t deny that but it would seem as much as Zengetsu was his teacher it would seem his hollow was just as willing to teach him. Sighing, Ichigo took a deep breath trying to calm the emotions raging like a swarm of angry bees in his soul.

Closing his eyes, he looked deep within himself and all the angry and uncertainly that dwelled within him. The more he looked the more he realized how much was there, for there was so many things that had happened recently that caused him to lose his focus and let himself fall into despair. Ishida’s capture, his father being a shinigami and not telling him all these years, his mother’s sudden reappearance, his defeat by Flame that had lead to Urahara’s death, even the time warp weighted heavy. There were so many things to come to term with the task of taming his heart felt impossible. He had to accept everything and tread though all that emotional baggage looking for the one word his heart told him that would release Zengetsu’s power. Clearing everything away the word still seemed to slip from his grasp still the rain did stop but a dark cloud remained.

I can’t find it” Ichigo growled his frustration still mounting.

You’re still missing one thing” The hollow suddenly said.

Ichigo’s eyes shot open, his hazel eyes meeting the golden ones of his inner hollow. The hollow only grin in return before he glanced towards Zengetsu. Ichigo could see his reflection in the sunglasses of his spirit as he felt the sword give him a critical gaze. The hollow suddenly chuckled before he once again closed the gap between him and the King and the sounds of swords clashing in mid air could be heard, again Ichigo was sent flying but this time the hollow didn’t relent and chased after him. Ichigo threw up his sword to try and counter the nimble blade his hollow wielded but he found out that it just wasn’t enough.

There is only one thing King, one thing that clouds your heart now and it is your own disbelief” The hollow chuckled before he gathered his energy. “Getsuga Tenshō!

Ichigo eyes widen as the white attack came rushing at him, throwing up his arms and sword to defend himself, the attack washed over him throwing him back yet again but this time with burns on his arms and his shinigami uniform shredded from the force of the attack, blood dripped down from the various small cuts along his body. Shaking his head to clear his mind, the pain burned every inch of his body, as he realized another attack like that from the hollow would only lead to his own death. The hollow though didn’t relent, charging at Ichigo and planting his fist in Ichigo gut before the substitute shinigami could get his bearings. Ichigo keeled over falling on the ground.

I can’t lose…” He whispered as he tried to get up.

The hollow’s eyebrow brow rose again. “Eh?” He said kicking Ichigo and causing him to fall back to the ground and the sealed sword to fall out of his hands “I didn’t hear that King. He still thinks he can win Zengetsu,” The hollow put his foot on Ichigo’s head. “I said if you ever give me a chance I’ll crush your skull so Zengetsu do you have any last words for your former master before I kill him

The sword looked at the boy under the hollows foot. “Ichigo to understand yourself you might need to understand me…” The sword said stoically. “The one thing you have lacked is a calm heart that master’s their spiritual energy. Your heart is too filled with emotion which gives you power but it causes you to over look some of the simplest things. Find the simple thing you hide within your heart and then you will hear the word you need to know. If you need look into my heart and find what lies there

Look into Zengetsu heart? Could he even do that? Well he was out of options, 2 seconds from death via his hollow, so it was worth a shot in the dark. Closing his eyes, he reached out and grasped the hilt of the sword and started to try to look into the very heart of his sword. He found many things there, admiration, pride, honor, and one thing he didn’t expect to find… Love. His sword loved. His sword loved someone. As he searched deeper into his swords feeling, he found himself standing before an image of a beautiful maiden in white and light blue. Her icy blue eyes looked down at him as a warm smile decorated her lips. For a second Ichigo was confused at who this beautiful figure was before Zengetsu spoke to him whispering the name of the beautiful woman in his ear. It was Sode no Shirayuki. Rukia’s sword…

Still confused he didn’t know exactly what this all met but in that second his mind brought up an image of Rukia as she released her pure white sword. The memory played as if he was once again right there and he could feel himself captured by the grace and elegance of Rukia and her sword. It was then things started to answer themselves, he had feelings for Rukia… Something deeper then the friendship they both shared… How long he had these feelings he didn’t know but now he was quite aware of them and felt the overwhelming urge to do something about them.

Time to take my rightful place King, good bye!” The hollow grinned as he raised his sword to bring the struggle to a final end.

    Cleave Zengetsu!” Ichigo suddenly yelled.

The clang of swords echoed in the air as the sealed sword once again took the form of the massive cleaver. The sky became clear…
    -----------

The hollow form of Ichigo suddenly stopped attacking as a hand shot to the mask and tore it away. The white armor that had been protecting the hollow crumbled before falling away from Ichigo’s body. Ichigo now stood fully in control as his eyes fell upon Shinji. He wouldn’t deny that Shinji was right about him being weak enough to let the hollow take control of him and he would also admit it had been a mistake.

I’d apologize but I got other things I need to do, so it will have to wait” Ichigo said reaching back behind him pulling out the seal from of Zengetsu from his back before he turned and headed off in the direction of Ulquiorra….

((Okay this one is a bit complicated to understand. In character as Kurosaki Ichigo from my Bleach Roleplay. Setting, Gin was just defeated and forced Ichigo to let his hollow take control after he was told Gin killed Rukia. The hollow forced Ichigo's body into his second hollow state. Ulquiorra appears with Rukia's sword and basically tells Ichigo to find Rukia because she is in danger.))

The beast was just about to charge at Ulquiorra when the sight of the sword caused an invisible force to stop his body in its track. The voice at the back of the beast head knew that swords and the sight of it brought more pain to his soul. The beast could only stand there watching his opponent’s movements as the invisible force kept him glued to the ground. Only when the sword was tossed did his movement free up allowing him to grasp the sword from mid air and clutch it in his hands. There was something familiar about the sword even to the beast and instantly a great pain stirred in his chest before a single voice pierced all darkness.

    Sode no Shirayuki…. She’s alive…

At first the beast didn’t understand what the words meant before in an instant something snapped the words of Ulquiorra ringing in the air, repeating over and over within the beast’s mind and control over the body instantly shifted….

Ichigo eyes snapped open taking in the dull grey hues of a skyscraper and the strange tilted way the clouds around him seemed turned on their axis. He blinked several more times as his mind came to process that he had once again found himself in the inner sanctum in his soul. Why he was here he didn’t know but slowly he got to his feet long ago learning to accept the strange gravity this world seemed to have. The world was strangely quiet only the strange sideways building and clouds around to offer him any sort of greeting. Normally when he came here someone would appear and talk to him the fact he was alone worried him. Had that beast that he had let loose taken control and forced him here? Did he make his final mistake that had cost him his body? Question rang in his mind that he couldn’t begin to grasp the answers too.

Growing frustrated and angry with that fact, he tried to figure out a way to somehow leave this area of his soul. Never had he actually tried to leave before for he always just kind of left the area with no real conscious thought about how to do so. He had no clue about what he needed t do in order to leave and that simple fact was starting to frustrate him more as he stomped his foot against the ground of the skyscraper.

“Would you stop that?!” an annoyed voice called behind him.

In an instant Ichigo spun around to face the ghostly white mirror image of himself that was his inner hollow. The look on the hollow’s face wasn’t the normal grin but a pointedly annoyed look; clearly he wasn’t too happy at the moment. If Ichigo had been a bit more rational, he might have realized the look and come to the conclusion that the hollow didn’t want to be here either, but Ichigo was a bit over taken with rage at the moment. In an instant he was in front of the hollow using a speed only obtainable in his bankai form, which he currently wasn't surprisingly enough. Grabbing the hollow’s robes Ichigo brought his face inches from the demon’s.

“Give me back my body demon, or I swear I’ll kill you now!” Ichigo growled.

The hollow cocked a brow high upon his forehead as he reached up and pulled Ichigo’s hand away from his robes. He clearly didn’t want to get confrontational with the king at the moment, and the hollow knew better then to stir up Ichigo at the moment. Taking a step back from the angry teen the hollow adjusted his robes before looking Ichigo square in the eye with that same annoyed expression on his face as before.

“I’m not the one who sent you here, I was dragged here along with you by him” The hollow responded coolly.

The confusion instantly appeared in Ichigo eyes as some of the rage instantly melted away. “Him?”

“That would be me, Ichigo” the deep somber voice told Ichigo who it was before he even turned to look.

Even if Ichigo knew the owner of the voice, something almost subconscious within him made him turn and face the black cloaked middle age man that was his sword. Zangetsu’s passive eyes fell upon his wielder as once again his cloak seemed to flutter in an almost invisible wind. Even through the thick sunglasses the spirit wore Ichigo knew that the look Zangetsu was giving him was the look for him to be calm. Ichigo didn’t understand what was going on but suddenly a figure stepped from behind Zangetsu; a maiden who was gifted with beauty in a flowing white kimono. Ichigo instantly knew who this new figure in his world was but he was still shocked that she was here.

“Sode no Shirayuki…” The words feel from Ichigo mouth as the shock was apparent and rang in every syllable of Rukia’s sword’s name.

The maiden simply nodded to the sound of her name, affirming her identity. Her gaze turned quietly to Zangetsu as a silent conversation seemed to be had by the two zanpakuto spirits. Ichigo instantly felt like some sort of third wheel at that moment for some strange reason, he could instantly tell the deep connection between both spirits could possibly be even deeper than the one he and Rukia shared. As to not disturb the strange silence Ichigo didn’t speak just waiting for some sort of hint as to what he was doing here in the realm of his soul. Slowly both spirits turned to look at him once again before Zangetsu boldly reached up grasping Sode no Shirayuki’s hand.

“There are many reasons why I brought you here Ichigo. First I need to talk to you and this is the best place to do it. Time doesn’t pass here like it does out there and we have little of it. Second, this is the only place where you can hear Sode no Shirayuki’s voice and I need you to listen to what she has to say for Rukia is in danger. Third, you will need to understand the consequences of letting the hollow out but we will get to that later.” Zangetsu spoke calmly even if the gravity of his words weighted heavily on Ichigo’s heart.

With that said, Zangetsu turned his gaze towards the beautiful maiden at his side and Ichigo saw the slight squeeze his spirit gave the ice zanpakuto spirit’s hand before he let go. The expression on Sode no Shirayuki’s face didn’t change at all as her icy crystal blue gaze fixed upon Ichigo. At that moment, he could almost feel the temperature around him drop a few degrees before the ice spirit’s expression softened slightly and she took a step towards him.

“Ichigo…” Her voice was surprisingly soft but he could tell it wasn’t her normal tone. “Rukia has fallen into an abyss even I cannot reach her in, but I believe you have the power that can set her free. You understand her pain better then you realize for hers is the same as the pain you struggled with when you first became overcome by him” With that statement Sode no Shirayuki raised her arm her delicate hand appearing from the long sleeves of her kimono to point towards something behind him.

Ichigo’s gaze followed the direction that Sode no Shirayuki was pointing before his eyes fell upon his bleach white doppelganger. The hollow brow was still raised but something about the ice spirit’s words seemed to awaken his manic joy for a grin had crept upon his face. Ichigo heart froze at the implication of Sode no Shirayuki’s words but he was still finding it hard to truly believe that Rukia had become hollowfied. Turning a confused gaze back towards Rukia’s zanpakuto he need to hear the words before his heart could fully believe such a thing could happen to Rukia.

“She now is like you Ichigo, both hollow and shinigami… A vizard, but if you can’t bring her back she’ll fall away from even me and become something so consumed by a lust for power that she’ll be nothing more than animal” Sode no Shirayuki confirmed as if she had read Ichigo’s uncertainly.

Ichigo didn’t know how to take this news but he knew that he had to do something. He couldn’t let Rukia fall into the dark hole his hollow had once tried to swallow him within for he knew like every other vizard that she only had a limited time. Rukia need to fight against her hollow and gain control but did she know she had to fight? Was it too late even now? His eyes turned to Sode No Shirayuki, the blaze of determination burning deep within his hazel colored eyes. A small smile seemed to appear on Sode No Shirayuki’s lips at the sight of that look upon Ichigo.

“I’ll do all I can to help her you have my word Sode no Shirayuki” Ichigo said before his eyes shifted towards Zangetsu. “Let me out of here, she needs me now”

Zangetsu’s expression remained unchanged before his gazed turned towards the hollow whom by now had moved to stand next to his king. The hollow’s smirk hadn’t faded as it seemed absolutely delighted for some reason and this fact made Ichigo’s face conform into a scowl. Leave it to his hollow to be delighted by the fact Rukia now had her own hollow to deal with. The hollow made a small ‘huh’ like noise before his golden gaze turned towards Ichigo.

“He can’t do that yet partner!” The hollow grinned before he took a step towards Ichigo and leaned in. “You know why that is King? Because you got a bit of a problem on your hands”

“Enough” Zangetsu’s voice was deep showing that he wasn’t messing around when he spoke. “You will tell him what he needs to know”

The hollow’s gaze left Ichigo to turn and look at Zangetsu. His smirk seemed too widened as he shrugged slightly. Ichigo was growing annoyed with the hollow’s antics for he wanted nothing more at that moment then to gain control of his body and go to rescue Rukia. Clearly to him the hollow knew something but was playing game again possibility to bide his time for something. Ichigo wasn’t going to play his hollow’s games when he knew Rukia was in danger.

“What do you know” Ichigo demanded. “You will tell me”

The hollow only chuckled before looking at Ichigo. “You’re weak Ichigo!” The hollow said simply.

It had been the second time the hollow hadn’t called him King and the fact he had used Ichigo’s actually name awoke a few red flags in the teen’s head. In an instant, his hand reached up grasping the hilt of the sealed zanpakuto on his back. With one swift motion the blade of the spirit that stood no more than a few feet from him came to point with dangerous intent at the hollow. The hollows eyes glanced at the blade but he didn’t move to grab his own sword on his back as his smirk seemed to fade.

“I know this battle I won’t win, so I won’t even try” The hollow muttered in an almost bored tone.

“Then even if you won’t fight back I need to know what you know and if that takes beating it out of you then so be it” Ichigo growled as he tightened the grip on the blade. “Cleave Zangetsu”

In a flash the long katana became the memorable cleaver he was known for as Ichigo pointed the blade with a threatening determination at his hollow. The hollow only looked at the blade before glancing towards the spirit that it represented then back at the blade once again. He seemed to be making up his mind about something before he snorted and folded his arms across his chest in an almost defiant manner.

“Fine, if you really are going to be that way I suppose I can tell you…” The hollow stated his reluctance clear in his voice. “If you tear the mask off as you are now, you’ll die to simply put it. There is a huge hole in your chest and because I don't like dying I’ll fix it for you but it will come at a price”

    “What kind of price?”
    Ichigo asked without hesitation.

The hollow looked at Ichigo. “The price is all of your hollow power.” The confused look on Ichigo’s face spurred the hollow to continue talking. “You will not be able to summon you mask and if you die, I won’t be able to save. In fact I won’t be able to do anything until I can recover, don’t give me that stupid look. I have my own store of Raietsu too and well I won’t have any more left King. But you won’t have much left either so I don’t suggest doing anything stupid”

Ichigo took a deep breath, it seemed like a deep risk but he had to do it. As he was now the beast couldn’t save anyone the only thing that it could do was kill. If Ichigo let the beast continue he’d start attacking anyone in sight. Ichigo needed to save Rukia and even if the costs were high it was his own fault for letting the hollow take over and he’d have to take responsibility for his actions. If he couldn’t use is hollow powers then he couldn’t use them and he’d have to find some other way to fight if he needed too..

“Doesn’t matter, I’ll do it” Again there was no hesitation within Ichigo’s voice.

“I knew you would; so listen, once you gain control over yourself I will help you locate Rukia with Sode no Shirayuki’s help. I warn you now that what the hollow said is true and that if you start to lose there will be no falling back on your hollow powers. So, take caution about who you raise your sword against Ichigo.” Zangetsu advised only pausing to let Ichigo nod before he continued. “Good luck…”

Suddenly the world around Ichigo faded as he felt himself back in his body and the beast struggling to maintain control over him. Ichigo easily cast the beast aside, his hand moving up to grab for the thick mask that covered his face before he ripped it from his skin. The mask shattered instantly as pain suddenly flooded into Ichigo’s core causing the substitute shinigami to fall to his knees then his pain as he gasped for breath from lungs that weren’t attached. He fell to the ground feeling as if death was about to come soon before a strange energy flooded his body instantly closing up the hole in his chest with an almost explosive burst of power as the feature he had as the beast slowly melted away.

Reaching up he touched the part of his chest where the hole had been almost surprised that there was now skin, bone and muscle there now again. Taking a few sweet breaths, got to his knees picking up both Zangetsu and Sode no Shirayuki off the floor from where he had dropped them from the shock of his retransformation back into a shinigami. As soon as he had both swords within his hand a red ribbon instantly shot from the very tip of Sode no Shirayuki’s hilt twisting and turning showing him the way to the sword’s master. Taking another deep breath, he darted forward determination to save the one he cared about reflected in every step he took.

Hold UP the flag cause it's ride or die!!!

By the way he was moving back and forth, he would soon wear a line in the middle of his room as he paced. He really had no realization that his floor was being worn down by his constant back and forth movement because his mind was else were. As his body moved from the edge of his desk across his room to the opposite wall; his mind was lost in thought about things a normal 15 year old normally wouldn’t be thinking about. Well most of what he thought about wouldn’t be something a normal 15 year old thought about if one excluded the fact his mind was also worried about a girl among thoughts of how he was going to save the world. It was not just any girl mind you, but that crazy short black haired shinigami that was both a torn in his side and his best friend.

Yes, it was Rukia that worried him as much as the fate of the world after Aizen had succeeded at creating a King’s key. He really didn’t know what he could do about Aizen currently, so he was more left to let his mind wander about what he was going to do with 13th division fuku-taichou. She had been rather distance lately. Deciding to work his way backwards he tried to think of a cause for Rukia’s behavior; strangely it all had started at breakfast not more than 2 weeks ago.

Ichigo had gotten up early that morning thanks to his over the top father; a fight had broken out at 4:30 in the morning which had been quickly won by Ichigo as he had punted his father out an open window and out of his room. The crash that followed as his father connected with the ground wasn’t as satisfying as it probably should have been as Ichigo; now wide awake started to get ready for school. Like every morning, he got dressed in his school uniform and grabbed his school bag before heading out of his room. He paused at his sister’s door to tell them to get up before moving to Rukia’s door and tell her as well to get up as well. He knew all the women in the house would already be up by the loud crashing he and his father had made this morning after their small fight, but Ichigo had done it more out of habit than anything else.

As he came downstairs, he ignored his father’s wailing about his injured noise as he set his school bag down by the door. His father continued his rant before clinging to that large poster of their mother he had hanging in the living room. Ichigo’s jaw locked at this point as his scowl seemed to deepen at his father’s antics. He really didn’t feel in the mood to cater to his father’s behavior. Luckily for him Yuzu was already down and starting to make a small breakfast for the family. As Ichigo sat down at the table and rolled his eyes as his father made another obnoxious comment; Karin joined them downstairs. Karin definitely was the person he could relate to most out of all his family, not that he loved Yuzu any less it was just Karin seemed to understand his perspectives better. Karin turned and looked at their dad making a comment that even in Ichigo’s sour mood brought a small smirk to his face at his father’s reaction. It was then Rukia seemed to come down and as he turned to look at her, she make a small noise and ran up stairs.

Ichigo would have not thought anything about it but by the time it was to head to school, Ichigo went to retrieve Rukia only to find she had headed off to school by herself. And sense then Rukia had just been acting rather strange. By acting strange, she seemed to be avoiding him for some reason and whenever he got near her and cornered her she’s always seemed at a loss for words and her cheeks would turn red as if she was embarrassed by something. As he thought back on that day nothing seemed to merit her sudden strange behavior that he could think of.

A sigh escaped deep from Ichigo’s chest as he reached up and ran his hand through his out of control orange hair. His normal scowl was present but lightened as he ran over the facts in his head before it deepened as he was unable to draw a forth any solid conclusion. He stopped wearing a line in his floor a second as he turned to glare at his substitute shinigami badge that lay on his desk as if the badge was the cause of Rukia’s strange behavior. Aizen could make a move any day now and he didn’t want his discord with Rukia to linger any longer after all she was the person she wanted watching his back in this battle more than anyone else. He had too many people to worry about in this battle to worry about his own back that why he had always trusted Rukia to watch it for him.

As the substitute soul reaper’s badge remained lifeless under his glare before Ichigo’s hand jerked forward and closed around it. It always figured when Ichigo wished a hollow would show up so he could take out some of his mounting anger out on it, the badge would have nothing. It was a vile creation that waited for the very moment when he had just gotten to sleep before broadcasting to him that there was a hollow approaching. It was night like that the object could be heard hitting the wall before Ichigo pulled himself out of bed to arrive at the hollow just as Rukia took it out before she quickly disappear from his sight without a word. Surely the badge had something to do with Rukia behavior for it was crafty like that and the one you’d least suspect but Ichigo was wise to it by now.

Attaching the evil soul separating device to his belt, he unclenched his tight jaw and turned and left his room. Since he could only bide his time waiting for Aizen to make another grand move to kill them all, he figured he’d at least try and solve his problem with Rukia. He knew if he stayed in his room and tried to figure things out things it would only lead him to empty answer so it was now time go get information straight from the source. He had at least an hour before he and Rukia would head to Urahara to do a bit training to prepare for Aizen’s next assault, so hopefully he’d be able to get an answer from Rukia regarding her strange behavior.

Shutting his door with a bit of unintended force, he matched himself down the hall and up to Rukia’s door. Reaching forward he grasp the handle of the door and opened it. Normally he didn’t just boldly enter Rukia’s room without knocking but he knew she should be fully dressed because he had seen her at breakfast only an hour before and there was also the fact Rukia never seemed to have any problem just barging into his room so why should he be forced to knock. Crossing the threshold with he marched right up to the foot of her bed, his scowl already firmly in place as he crossed his arms over his chest.

“You have…” Ichigo started before the signature blare of his substitute shinigami badge filled the room.

His scowl formed into a look of pure hatred as his attention turned towards the offending object. No one seemed to believe him how devious the object on his belt was, but now just as he was about to talk to Rukia it decided to broadcast the fact that there was a hollow nearby, were was it no more than a minute ago when he was wishing for a hollow attack. Cursing under his breath, that look of pure hatred unintentedly turned to Rukia as his dark hazel eyes flashed with a dangerous glint.

“Stay here! I’ll get this one! I need to talk to you!” Ichigo demanded knowing full well he just might get an angry retort from his shinigami partner.

Turning around he headed back to his room to deal with the hollow.

Come spark the PARTS in me that all but died!!!Jump start my HEART and wake the sleeper inside!!!

Staring at the blank page before you
      Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
      That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
      Release your inhibitions

Orihime eyed the beer can with a lot of apprehension as Hiyori told her to take a swig of it. Personally the smell of alcohol had always brought a bit of a sour note to her stomach and now was no exception as she smelled the fermentation ebbing from Hiyori’s direction. Still, she desperately wanted to see her friend to the point she would willingly inhale the intoxicating liquid if it meant seeing them. Her hand reached out to grasp the can just before Hiyori mentioned Rukia was now a Vizard and her hand froze inches from the can as her eyes widened slightly.

Rukia was a Vizard? Her mind reeled at this fact, as her eyes filled with concern. No one should have to be a Vizard in her opinion, the power it adds was just something far too wicked for anyone to control, and she knew for a fact none of the other Vizards asked to be this way. Everyone including Kurosaki-kun had this destiny thrust upon them by horrible circumstances and now another one of her best friends had joined the ranks of those with inner demons was something she almost felt the need to weep about.

Biting back her tears, she knew tears would do nothing for anyone, and Vizards like Hiyori and Shinji had a certain pride that forbidden them to be pitied. Biting her lower lip instead her grayish eyes once again return to the can in Hiyori’s hand before she once again started to reach for the beer can. Her hands graced the metal surface for only a half a second before Flame seemed to appear out of no were. A small surprised grasp echoed from her lips as the healer took a few steps back and watched the scene unfold before her. Her face had a look of slight confusion upon it as she watched Flame and the two vizards interact before the well endowed woman turned her attention towards Orihime and gave her a hug

“Ano… okay…” Was all the voice the timid girl could get out before her gray eyes trailed after Flame before she disappeared.

Turning her attention back to the now open doors of the warehouse, she paused again in the entryway before stepping into the warehouse. She dearly hoped the other vizards wouldn’t care if she entered but there was no longer anyone to refuse her entry at the door after Flame had left and her desire to see her friends was strong. Stepping into the familiar warehouse, she expected someone to say something about her presence but none of the others seemed to care that she was there, only Hachi whose smile grew at seeing the small girl.

“Ah Orihime-chan, it’s good to see you!” The round man spoke in a friendly manor to the smaller girl. “How was the mission for you?”

Orihime looked up at the great man and offered him a warm smile of her own. “It went alright, I’m afraid I wasn’t much help again…”

Hachi nodded before he glanced off to his left, Orihime instantly followed his gaze to the familiar form of a prone Kurosaki. He didn’t look good, with the white bandages seeming to intensify his already pale skin. She didn’t need her Shun Shun Rikka to tell Ichigo was in a bad state. Her gaze instantly turned back to Hachi, asking silently what was wrong with the boy she had so much affection for. Hachi only stepped up to her side and put a hand on her shoulder.

“I believe there is still much to be done; helping after the battle is still helping. Orihime your gift is just more valuable after major battle and to ease the suffering of others.” Hachi seemed to speak with a bit of wisdom behind his words.

Orihime gave a silent nod before her hands went up to the side of her head and rejected both Ayame and Shuno. The fairies responded instantly to her telepathic command creating an orange dome over Ichigo and began to heal his numerous injuries. As she stepped up to the dome, she instantly knew the extent of Ichigo’s injuries and she could tell from the faint traces of raietsu that lingered in his wounds that both Rukia and Hachi had been responsible in healing the boy before her. They had done their best and she admired their effort but she knew they looked like mere amateurs compared to her unique skill. It took a while but soon Ayame and Shuno returned to Orihime and she could tell that Ichigo body was resting far more easily.

Her attention quickly returned to Hachi as she finished. “May I see Kuchiki-san?”

Hachi got a sorrowful look on his face as he seemed more than a bit apprehensive to bring Orihime to see her friend. Watching the struggle take place in the larger man eyes she was just about to reach up and tell Hachi that she wasn’t afraid before the kidou master turned and motioned Orihime to follow him. Orihime was quick to trail after Hachi and to the upper tiers of the huge warehouse. As they reached the very top tier, Hachi stopped before using his mammoth hand to motion towards an orange box off against one of the far walls.

“I must warn you Orihime-chan, she is possessed by her hollow. She may not be the friend you hold so dear any more…” Hachi warned as he slowly stepped up to the strange orange barrier Rukia was behind.

Orihime nodded as she stepped up to the box seeing Rukia asleep inside, she could understand the precautions Hachi had to take to keep Rukia confided. She knew how dangerous Ichigo’s hollow was and could only guess Rukia’s was just as dangerous. Her heart filled with worry as she gazed upon one of her best friend, she knew she was helpless to do anything for her dear friend and that was the most painful part about it. Rukia had always been there to help her and at a time Rukia needed the post help Orihime was helpless to do anything. Turning her gaze towards Hachi, she took a deep breath.

“Do you think it would be alright if I stayed here tonight? I know there isn’t much I can do to help Rukia but I want to be around if there is something…” Orihime voice was timid as she spoke.

Hachi glanced at the small petite girl he had trap behind his barrier before looking back at Orihime and the sorrow in the girl’s eyes. With a bit of a sigh the older man nodded. “Very well, you shall stay as my guest again”

“Thank you” Orihime offered Hachi a small smile.

“We’ll work on your training in the morning after you wake up. Come on Orihime-chan, we’ll get you a bed” Hachi once again motioned Orihime to follow him.

Orihime followed the man back down to the lower tiers of the warehouse and was given a futon in the back of the warehouse. She really didn’t feel that sleepy as she curled into ball, and contented herself on the fact she was close if anyone needed her help. Slowly she fell into a restful sleep….

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
      Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
      The rest is still unwritten
