Taken Away

One morning I awoke anew,
Breakfast this morning was too hard to chew.
An angel appeared before me and said,
"I am the angel of hate see,
I will take away the one thing precious to thee".


"Angel of hate why must it be,
Why do you take love away from me."
The angel said unto me,
"I do not take your love away,
It will return again someday".


Without another word the angel vanished,
I became sad and quite famished.
I feel no love for the time being,
Your beauty I cannot stop but seeing.
