Pink
Pink is actually a very good artist, or at least she sings about very good topics. I'm kind of sad that the radio only plays her shallow songs (U+Ur Hand). THe majority of her songs are making statements about different aspects of society. I just finished listening to Family Portrait and got a bunch of goosebumps from it. It is so sad you feel so bad for the little girl she's singing as. One of my personal favorites is Dear Mr. President, which pisses me off every time I hear it. It's a very effective song. Then there's another song by her that I think is from the perspective of a girl who got raped. It took me a while to figure that out, but I'm pretty sure that's what's going on in the song. It really is too bad more people don't know how deep she is.
