For those of you are not aware, Jack and Ianto are a couple from Torchwood, a spin-off show of Doctor Who. And it is amazing, so if you haven't seen it do so NOW.

Reasons for:

-Because it can be named Stopwatchshipping
-The whole stopwatch thing:
Ianto 'There's more than one use for a stopwatch'
Jack: *smile* Oh yeah. I'll send the others home. Meet me in my office in ten'
-Jack flirts with Ianto all the time
-Ianto doesn't mind being flirted with all time
-Ianto flirts back
-Jack asked Ianto out on a date
-Ianto said yes
-Ianto got jealous of Captain John Harp, because he used to date Jack
-Jack is a Captain
-They look cute together
-Ianto hates John, because he used to date Jack
-Ianto rolls his eyes everytime John starts flirting with anyone, yet he doesn't seem to care when Jack does it
-Ianto can tolerate Jack's incessant flirting with anything that moves
-Jack would stop flirting quite so much
-Ianto gave Jack his coat
-Ianto needs someone to look after him (especially after the whole Lisa thing)
-Jack never fired Ianto, even after the whole Lisa thing
-Ianto forgave Jack for being really mean during the Lisa episode
-Ianto cried when Jack 'died'
-Ianto started sniffing Jack's coat when Jack 'died'
-Ianto and Jack kissed, after Jack turned out not to be dead.
-Ianto instantly forgave Jack after he disapeared
-Ianto was the one to point out that things were more fun with Jack around
-Ianto Harkness sounds so much better than Ianto Jones
-Because they act like an old married couple (maybe)
-Because it's actually canon!
-Jack prefers Ianto to Gwen
-Jack came back to Ianto
-When Jack came back he said 'I came back for you' and then only added 'all of you' as an after thought to make the others not hate him
-When John said 'we used to be partners' Ianto instantly demanded to know in what sense he meant.
-Ianto was very disappointed that John replied 'In every sense'
-Jack shot the alien so Ianto didn't have to
-Ianto is very good at making tea
-Jack knows a lot about aliens, and so can protect Ianto from them
-Jack came from the futur
-Jack likes tea, despite being American
-Jack is American
-Everybody knows

Reasons against:

-Jack may like Gwen (but not as much as Ianto)
-Jack cannot die, where as Ianto can, which means Jack is going to be very sad one day
-Jack left
-JackxJack episode
-Ianto may never have got over Lisa

So as we all know that there is more than one use for a stopwatch:
