That's right, yesterday was my birthday, January 7th. I am officialy 17... WHOOP!
I love it too cos this means I'm getting my license next month
but I didn't go out partying or anything like that lol
why not?
well, partially b/c I didn't want to and also b/c it's a school night and we all have heard that rule before
yep, not only was it my birthday, but it's our last day of freedom at least until spring break
So what did I do?
Well, I decided to help out my aunt today with her grapefruit tree
which btw grapefruits are so good!
anyway, in helping her out, I learned a few things
first, never try picking grapefruits when there are tons of branches around it b/c there just may be a wasp nest in there (and they hurt)
second, don't play near rose bushes.. it's just not a good idea (my poor hand )
and last but not least, wear a helmet when picking grapefruits b/c when one (or five) fall on your head, it tends to hurt....
I think these are some pretty good lessons for the new year
needless to say, I needed a few asprin after that...
