Never had the chance to say goodbye
Hours became days, days became weeks and week turned into months.
Oh how the time seemed to fly by.

I wouldn't wish it upon any one
This feeling I feel inside
I prayed every night for you to come home
But where you went still no one knows

It tore up the family
I cant believe that your gone
I thought things were going better
How could it all go so wrong?

I still find myself searching for you
But can only find you in my dreams
But dreams are so confusing
So what does it all mean?

As tears roll down my face
I think to myself he is in a better place
His pain and grief is over
He is now at peace forever

I know now that you are truly home
So happy and so bright
Can't wait until I see you in the everlasting light.

So when my work is all done here
