About 2 hours ago I, Krista, graduated High School.
The Ceremony started at 5 and ended at 7:30.
All day I was fine, I didn't feel nervous or anything. Then we left to where it was being held and suddenly I felt like there were butterflys in my tummy.
I felt like that until I got to sit in my chair. Then felt that way again when I had to go get my dertificate of achievement. Diplomas will be mailed in August after we pass or exams.
It was nice all the grads dressed up all fancy in their blue gowns and caps.
There were two ceremonies, one at 2 and one at 5, together that equals about 425 grads in a school of 1600 students. surprised
So now I'm fully graduated. I had another grad ceremony on June 1st, for all the First Nations grads from the school. We all got rings with a different animal on them, I picked an otter, and an Eagle tail-feather. Which I heard was very rare.
This monday I have to go to the office and tell them I gave my gown back, else I cannot get my t-shirt which I so dearly desire. It has all the grads names on it.
And I got to keep the hat it is sitting in my room, I also was able to aquire a single rose, and a book which has the certificate of achievement in it. There is another space to put something in it, if my diploma fits it will likely go there.
And sometime next week I'm getting my yearbook. Woo!
Then exam on the 22, prom on the 25 and then I'M DONE!!!!! mrgreen
