“This isn’t the right port” Jack Sparrow said looking around.
“It is, Captain” the lovely being told him “Rum and gold is what you want, and that is where the Compass has led you”
“That wasn’t what I wanted” Jack retorted.
“It’s what you need”
“I want to see Sarah”
“That is not what you need”
“Shouldn’t this lead to what I want most?”
She remained silent, and allowed the compass to change direction, now pointing to a new horizon due east.
“That a girl” Jack smiled as he saw the new heading.
“Good luck rounding up the crew Captain” she said coldly before turning away and vanishing before his eyes.
Jack could not think why things were like this when it came to other women and the young Goddess. She was a moody force but when he needed the guidance, she made the compass bear true. Ily’s silver eyes would turn steel grey at the mention of other women and Jack Sparrow. But she never gave Jack reason to doubt her.

Diary of A Broken Compass
Jack Sparrow's compass is not broken, it's just ruled by a confusing Goddess called Ily. What the Captain wants, she delivers. Or does she?
