no, not really. but you see, our state is currently under attack against the evil fiery-orange aliens(fire). on tv, you can see flames burning down homes, licking everything alive to gray.
if it wasn't for jareld, i wouldn't have known about the fires. i was still working on my project at 9pm when he called, and he told me about the 4 fires(currently 8 ). and as a matter of fact, i have noticed a slight blur and faded activity outside. it was smoke. and the fire that was only 40 miles away was right over the mountain range. even from outside of my house, you could've seen a reddish glow.
this morning was a bit smoky. the smoke covered the sun, causing frequent breezes. i was pissed off cause my hair was all over my face and my poster for science was screwing up already. but then camilla said "it's better to be pissed off than pissed on" which was funny to me lol but yeah, somewhat during 1st period, everyone was dying lol. the wind was blowing in the direction of our school, causing the smoke to flow down and into our town/neighborhoods. the smoke was unbearable. it made our eyes sting, our noses ticklish, and our clothes smell.
it got worse in 2nd period. morgan, dominique, and i had to run to class because we were almost late. and that was the most dopiest thing ever cause we were inhaling smoke, which could cause lung cancer. x.X but yeah, it was starting to get ashy outside. it was so disgusting. i think i still have some in my hair.
and in TSP (Time for Space and Practice), we only had about 7 people in our class (including dominique, the teacher, and i). so dom and i decided to listen to our ipods and take our phones out since the teacher could care less (come on, there's a fire!) she even turned on the tv so we could watch the news. lol speaking of the teacher (who is the mother of a b***h at school), she wore one of those mask thingies that people wear when going into toxic places. she looked hilarious. and dominique was like "goddamn, this is like being in my dad's ******** car!!" (he smokes).
geez, everyone was getting picked up at school. like half of the students in school were gone. so i was like, maybe i should go home. dom was going home anyways. so i texted my dad to come pick me up and he eventually did. then he picked up my brother, we drove home, had lunch, did some homework, packed a bit cause we might "evacuate", and here i am.
i feel drowsy. and my eyes still sting. i bet i still smell like smoke lol. i talked to dominique on the phone earlier, worrying about how the fires might drift down here to rolling hills. we even made plans to go to the mall tomorrow since there's no school. but if we get evacuated, it wouldn't happen. then she had to go cause her mom was making her get ready and pack in case she was evacuating.
things arent normal. ******** fires. i hate you. i'm currently looking outside and i can see ashes flying around. and the sky is still orange-ish. and there's still smoke. i can see my neighbors packing up. i honestly don't know what's so hard about putting out fires ! just pour water on it , and you're good. i swear if my house burns down, i'll scream. if it's a false alarm even if we packed, i'll scream louder. and if one of my friends' home burns down, i'll probably cut myslelf.
yeah. i'm watching the news right now, and looks like the fire is still going. oh lookie, its our governor!! arnold schwarzeneggar. lol. i can't stop laughing at his accent.
well, i better go. i hear my project calling meh. and don't worry, i won't die. D; good day. i said good day, betch!!
