My feelings for you are something I'm not sure of
But I wish for them to be true
It's hard to tell these days
If love is something I can attain

For I have been hurt in my past
More times then I wish to remember
But a simple word from you
Is all I want to remember

Love is something I fear I can't trust
For the way it has hurt me
Yet yours words will always stay with me
'Love is something to believe'

Every night after you said those words
I stay up and find their meaning to me
Is is true though?
Is love something you can believe?

And every night I come up with the same conclusion
That yes, it is true
For you have found it haven't you?
With someone that will always stay with you

It makes me wonder
If love wants me to see
That love is never easy
Whenever your not with me

Is this it's lesson to me?
Wanting me to see?
That without you as a friend at least
I could never believe?

If so then I'm glad I learned it this day
Because your are the only thing
That is keeping me sane this day

Yet you are still with her
And that eats me up inside
Because I know deep down
That I will never be her

Even if it's for a short time that I've known you
You've told me all I've wished to hear

Your amazing
And I wish for you to be here'

I don't know what to say to you
After you tell me these things
All I can do is blush
And wish you were here with me

Friends always think differently
After some time
Maybe this is loves lesson to me
That I will finally feel it's lovingness in time
