Me and my friends were writing IM poetry and this is what came about from mine ^^
She stood alone on the corner of Lime
She had told him to be there...to be on time
they agreed on the phone last night
but then they broke into a fight
she was mad at his ignorance
for he didn't respect: for instance
the weekend before he had come onto her
using the cabin vacation as a lure
she wasn't ready and turned him down
he tried to play it off like a joke of a clown
she didn't buy it she knew what he wanted
so she decided, for fun, that she would flaunt it
it drove him mad and off the wall
so he hung up last night, and that was all
so now she was on the street corner: its nine
then she saw a shadow of a line
on the street corner in front of her, so it must be above
she looked up in horror for there was her love
strung up on a rope: so he had been on time
that poor girl, alone on the street corner of lime
