Bio: Gryph left home at an early age, he was driven out by both frustration with his family and his growing wanderlust. He spent years just wandering never staying in one place very long, more due to his penchant for trouble than anything else. Trouble draws Gryph like a moth to flame, he can't help it. If a fight breaks out near him, Gryph jumps in, if someone needs help he tries to help them. 9 times out of 10 this doesn't work out as planned. His life went like this for some time until that fateful day. It started out normal until the little wizard walked up and asked if Gryph would assist him with an experiment. Now I don't know about you, but assist brings to my mind holding things or watching so the don't explode or maybe even gathering ingredients. Not being the subject that is being experimented on!!!! Which of course is what happened. Basically Gryph woke up tied to a stone altar etched with mystic runes in a room with 13 chanting wizards. That is not the bad part. The bad part is they were binding a Devil into Gryphs soul! Suffice it to say it hurt. a lot. What happened right after that is a mystery as Gryph passed out. He woke up in the middle of a abandoned barn with red eyes and blue hair. Previously they had both been brown. That was several years ago. Ever since Gryph just kinda wandered around looking for odd jobs and sometimes getting more than he bargained for. That is until he heard about this place called Haffa.
After Gryph came to Haffa things were uneventful for awhile he spent his time just hanging around the bar bored. He met several people he now counts as friends, the half ghost Danni, Nightwing Xavier more commonly called X, Danni's then wife Sam, the Gargoyle barkeep Lyka, and a kitsune lycan called Sirea. All in all a fairly quite place then the four horsemen showed up. The four horsemen where after Danni for something so of course there was a fight. Gryph ended up against this huge guy called Omega and the fight that followed was a little undecided and left Gryph wanting a rematch big time. Shortly following this X's daughter Kohana was kidnapped Danni and Sirea with them. So of course Gryph went after them along with X and a ninja named Shadow. Gryph ended up fighting Sephiroth and getting owned big time. He was so badly hurt that the devil bound inside of him was able to take control of his body and go on a rampage. Eventually the trail of destruction stopped when Danni and Sirea with the help of one of Gryphs old friends confronted and stopped the devil in it's tracks the fight ended when the devil ripped it's way out of Gryphs back and escaped into the night. Gryph actually died due to the damage from the devils escape and wounds from the fight fortunately Sirea was able to revive him, but his devil powers were gone.
After being turned human he became X's apprentice and trained in Extreme Tai Jutsu. This resulted in him attracting the attention of an organization that decide to capture him for their own twisted purposes.
Gryph was freed from his forced slavery and used his android abilities to protect Haffa's but he loathed himself for what he had become and sought ways to regain his humanity. It's seems one of these ways produced Kazuki a being with the soul of Gryph but none of his memories or abilities except when near death then the souls memories and personality from it's previouse life surface and take over the fight.
Gryphs body has reverted to it's mindless programed state and it now attacks on sight.
Special Notes
Gryph once had a devil bound inside him, it escaped after altering the seals to make them insulate Gryph's body against outside influences instead of holding the devil, this means that Gryph is immune to possession moves and almost immune to energy draining, which is the only reason that he can wield Genkaikiken
