What is your favorite tool to use in photoshop? Gradient? Brushes? Lens flare? Tell us what you like, and if you want, give us an example of something you did using your favorite tool.

I used to avoid the Pen tool at all cost
but now its become my BFFL.

I like the gradient tool. O.o
It helps me a lot.
Of course, I would never leave my banners with a gradient background, but it gives me a nice starting point and I can spruce it up with brushes and such and make a decent background.

I try to play around with clouds, but I'm starting to get bored of it. ._. I want to learn a new technique, but.. I haven't been pushing myself into playing around with Photoshop lately.. I have a few ideas, but.. I'm not sure how to pull it off, so.. who knows. @_@

I get like that every now and then. I get sick of doing the same thing, so I want to do something else, but I have no idea where to start. So I just start throwing random stuff together, and eventually it sparks an idea. I go with that idea and start from there, I can come up with some pretty interesting pieces of art. =D

I like brushes just for the fact is you can make your own :]]]]]].
LOL, since everyone is flipping out over the pen tool I'm trying to figure it out so I can make it do what I want :].

The pen tool is really good if you're doing geometric designs and stuff like they say.
I've read up about it everywhere and haven't found anything helpful so far, so good luck. =]

Still need to figure that thing out.
I find the brush tool my favorite. Maybe because it's the basis for most digital paintings, but it's just so customizable and easy to work with.

I definitely love brushes. I use them alot lately. I also like messing with overlaying gradients onto my art. Sometimes it gives it a nice lookie. =P
