Ask away! About spoilers, passed happenings, things you need to read between the lines for and much, much more. Anyone present is allowed to answer, of course. =D I like theorizing so I will gladly answer any question (you can see a good example on that in Kharl's character discussion thread).

Ah! Sorry for not answering earlier. I wasn't on. ^^; Since this is spoiler content (still, but not for long) I'll white it out. You just highlight to read, okay?
Spoilers! Ah, yes, the ending. Very sweet. XD; Kind of. No, they're not all dead. Shydeman and Shyrendora are dead, yes, and so is Nadil. >.>; Duh, kinda. Shyrendora might have been crushed as Nadil's castle crumbled upon her and Shydeman was killed by Tetheus. Nadil was killed by... I think we can say more Rath and Lykouleon than Rath and Cesia. Fedelta was killed by Thatz with the Ice Sword. The rest of the demons just... disappeared or went into hiding, as they had before Nadil arose again, I guess. The knights are all alive with Rath as their new Dragon Lord/Emperor and Cesia as the new Dragon Queen/Consort. Vierres is the Red Dragon Officer, Tetheus and Ruwalk are still the Officers of Black and Yellow while Thatz has become the new Officer of Blue (suits him, I think) and Rune has (as we already knew since book 13 or whatever it now was) become the new Officer of White. Gil is the Knight of Fire. Rim Kaana is still alive people. XD; I know it might bug some of you but I don't dislike her so... Tintlet, Delte and Ringleys are all still alive too. The duel dragons have been put to rest, in other words, they're SLEEPING, NOT dead. Raseleane is still alive, of course, but Lykouleon is not, it seems. He must have passed on from either the curse or the bloodloss/wounds it caused, which, in that case, would prove that the curse was impossible to undo, even after Nadil's demise. Or perhaps he used his last powers to help Rath off their enemy. I don't know. I just know that he was (magically, I believe) at the sight of the last battle with Rath. So, about Raseleane. Yes, she leaves the castle to go deep into the mountains, to a mansion lying there. I persume that she'll live there until she dies... or something... >_>;;; Which... seems odd seeing as she's lived so long already. XD; But maybe she'll slowly die of her own willing without Lykouleon. But she DO say, in the end when she leaves, that she "don't think that she'll be lonely" up there. Which COULD imply that her husband will be with her in spirit. *shrug* Rim does ask why the Dragon Queen (Raseleane) has to leave like this but we really don't get an answer, perhaps a thing she told Rather earlier is our only explanation. She said that she "wasn't Dragon Queen anymore" and that "that light has been passed onto that girl (Cesia)" as well as saying that "the Dragon Lord's spirit is waiting for you (Rath)". SO I guess the leaving of the previous royal couple is a form of transfering powers and authority to the new rulers. *shrug* It's just a possibility though.
Oh! And Nohiro! XD;; He's, uh... >_>; A Nohiro-shaped plot hole. >_>;; He isn't meantioned at ALL in the last volume. XD;; And we don't see him either. >_>;; So we can just expect that he's still alive and well and, uh... wandering Arinas somewhere with Miyabi? XD;;; Oh, and there's no mention of Kharl, as you might know, so we must persume that Kharl survived too. >.>; Well, that's at least something for all you Kharl lovers out there. XD;
*phew* XD;; Ok, was there anything more you wondered or that I missed?

*raises hand* I have questions! Regarding volume 26 so...
When it goes forward in time to after Nadil is killed, I'd like to clarify this... Cesia just pierced Rath's ears, yes? And what would a good translation of "fuun" be? I'm getting the idea that it's a non-committal sort of sound, saying something isn't good, but not bad, just so-so.
Also, where has Saabel gotten to? >.> And how did Thatz become the new white dragon officer? That was totally out of the blue!
While Kitchel is happily pestering Tetheus, Thatz seems to be getting along well with Delte. Is there an implied Thatz/Delte pairing, or is it just me?
Lol, Nohiro-shaped plot hole, eh? Very suitable, I like it, I think I'm gonna steal it. XD *runs off with phrase*
Tee-hee, thank you for offering to answer the ponderings of us poor, non-japanese-speaking, Tokyopop-reading fans.
Speaking of Tokyopop, I hear Kitchel was most definitely NOT such a ditz like the way TP made her to be. Is this true?

Random Irony Speaking of Tokyopop, I hear Kitchel was most definitely NOT such a ditz like the way TP made her to be. Is this true? Unfortunately for your spoiler questions, I can't answer them too well, considering I've only looked at images and am patiently awaiting the TP release of 26. Hopeflly the text explains more than the pictures.
As for Kitchel being a ditz...I've never really had that impression but I've noticed a lot of people do. O_o I just think she walks to the beat of her own drum which can make her seem pretty aloof. I don't think it has anything to do with the translation of making her out to seem like such a person.

Sorry, internet is kind of half dead over here. >.> We're using a single mobile internet connection for everyone. XD; As for questions. >w>
Answers/spoilers Hmn... I never thought about it that way, that Cesia pierced them for him but I guess I didn't remember that he didn't have a piercing in his new body (post-resurrection body XD; ). So thanks for that one. ^^ But as for the "fuun"... it can be "translated" as a "humph", "hnn" or "hm" as I see it. And in that way, then isn't that about the same as your idea of it? ^^ We just put a sound to it. After all, the "f" and "p" are in the same row as "h" syllabels in the Japanese alphabet. There is no "hu" but instead there's a "fu". And so, doesn't "huun" sound much like "hmn"? So I'd say that's about right. Rath says "hmn" and Cesia asks "What do you mean "hmn"?" He then tells her that he'll tell her that another time and she wonders out loud "what that was all about" when Rath leaves (the room).
Ahh, no no no. He became the Blue! ^^; Did I make a typo further up or did you make a mistake? >.>;; Rune is the White, as he became in vol... 13, or whenever it was that Alfeegi died. Thatz became Kaistern's successor as the Blue Officer/Foreign Secretary.
As for Sabel; he went deep into the Faerie Forest to heal. >.>; He wasn't particularly.... "in one piece" so to speak after that battle, yes? XD;;; He had been dead, it seemed (called a dead or bodiless thing, no?) and yeah... o_o;; So, yeah, Rune tells Thatz that at the farewell party for the ex-Dragon Queen. >.> Or whoever it now was that asked.
XDD;; Erm... I quite like that possible pairing so I say that there seems to be implied, yes. ^^ And seeing as it now is she who helps him prepare his outfit before the party (andnot any maid or Kitchel) I'd say that's something to go on perhaps. >.> He also saved her and brought her to the castle so they got some background. I actually covered this possible pairing in the "Character compability thread in case you want to read more about it. ^^
o_O; Hey! My phrase! I shall send me minions after yeh and... Or, not really. XD;; It's my sister's, so... I don't really have the right. XD;; Hehe.
No, Hiryuko. ^^;; Sadly it has a LOT to do with the translation. It's really very sad but it's true. >_>;;; Some lines have been changed completely and in thelast few translated volumes she just seems OUT of herself. To putit bluntly, Kitchel feels OOC in the translated version. As for ditzy... XD;; more aloof, I'd say, yes. Ditzy? No, not really. A funny and interesting person you need patient with to be able to have around for a long loooong while. XD;; But she could really be worth the while. Hence why I think the Tetheus and Kitchel pairing is perfect. XD; Especially for Mr. "Tall, dark, silent hero". XD;;
And lastly: thank you. XD;; It's really just fun to help anyone (if I can) when it comes to something with DK. I enjoy it. ^^

>.> Perhaps some new misspellings of the names? XD; Heheh. Or just a general suckiness in the quality. >.>; As usual. I mean, they change whole LINES to something completely else. Knowing the real lines, TP's seems just... as if they either have rad it wrong or been UNABLE to translate and just picked something that they thought would look good or be funny to have there. >__>;; One of those examples are two lines between a fighter and Kitchel. It's just sad. They took something that could have been quite good to know and turned it into something up the walls, more or less. Something stupid.

It's in volume 23, around the middle. >.>
TP's version: Kitchel: It looks like this whole place is gonna come down! And yet, think of all the treasures to be found here. Fighter: BLASPHEMOUS!
Original version: Kitchel: This place is going to collapse soon. Treasure hunter hunch! Fighter: Eeeeh! (in this case it's not "eeh" as a scream XD; but rather a cry of "no way"/surprise/shock/horror)
I do believe that Kitchel wouldn't be THAT greedy as to wanting to rob the Dragon Castle while it's crumbling around her and she's on her way to meet the Lord. She never struck me as quite THAT disrespectful. >.>; But as you can see, TP adds and does as they pleases quite a bit. The Kitchel I know is more like in the original, a person who calmly and with a cheerful mood can point out that danger's around the corner or the ceiling's gonna fall down on them. >.>; Want another where the original line makes more sense? Same volume just further in the beginning. Kitchel almost falls through the floor.
TP: Kitchel: That was close. I thought I was a goner. Fighter: ..... You almost were.
Original: Kitchel: Ooh! That surprised me! I really thought I would fall. Fighter: .... Please don't say that so calmly.
The first line ("that was close") is good but then... I rather prefer the original. And all of this is literal translations I've just given. Of course, adaption of the language is sometimes a necessity but... you can loose the feel of a character. I can't remember what other places I got bothered over when I read the latest volumes. But I agree with the fighter. XD; You shouldn't say that so calmly and yet she does... because that's how Kitchel is (to me). >.>; Of course, there were some horrific lines by other characters too. ^^;

Yeah, it's sad. >.> I mean, in the beginning they managed to make her in character because otherwise, if they hadn't, then we would be saying that the original isn't like her, right? So it just goes for show that they got worse and worse as the story progressed. XD;; But yes, that would almost seem like what would have been happening. In that case Kitchel didn't just follow the other girls and got a breast operation or two, she must have colored her hair too. XD;; *always finds that stereotype funny, even though she jokes about it and uses it too, because she herself is blonde* >.> Not platinum though, a nice bronze/red golden blonde. ^^

True, I noticed that the earlier volumes had better translations than the later ones. I checked to see if maybe there was a change in the staff. The translator remained the same, but the editor, co-editor, and a few other people changed over time. Not too surprising, considering how long Dragon Knights has been going on for, but you would think that would make them try extra hard to keep everything the same and watch out for mistakes readers would catch.
While on this note, what is up with the character page at the beginning of each volume? It's totally wrong! XP
Haha, I'm a dirty/dark blonde myself. XD (And I think the large-breast stage was really random)

La la la. Oh yay! Any opportunity to pester Nadil is a 'good' opportunity! biggrin *pokes Nadil* And yes, I have LOTS of questions! *nods happily*
1. Do you know of any place to get the lyrics to the DK Drama CD songs?
2. Look at the picture of little Rath in Raseleane's arms in book 8. Now look at the picture of little Rath in Lykouleon's arms right after he was turned Dragon in book 25. Is is just me, or does it look a little like he got younger in that first pic? @_@
3. The picture of Kharl and the dead guy in book 8 and then again in 25... who IS the dead guy? The Eastern King or Kharl's master? In book 8, the dead guy seems to have claws on the end of his hand--which seems to indicate that it's a demon and therefore Kharl's master! But in book 25 the hand is turned upside down and it's hard to tell, but there doesn't seem to be claws! Not to mention other discrepancies between the pictures. Like the distinct lack of Left Bird in 25. Any thoughts?
4. So you've read 26 now, right? So does Rune ever find out that Rath killed his entire race? What do the other officers say when they find out Bierrez is going to be the new Red Dragon Officer?

Ooh, I can sorta answer number 1!!! Go here~ http://www.geocities.com/chonmageman/wolfcat/cd.htmlAs for number four... I don't think Rune ever really does find out, though I seem to recall it being implied in earlier volumes. >.> And I'm not too sure about Bierrez. I don't think Tetheus or Ruwalk said anything, but someone else might have... *can't remember*
