Where ever there is a desert, the must be a reason for it's existance. In this case, far to the east, beyond even the sight of the rising sun lay the cause of the thirsty land. Slowly, shifting sands give way to firmer sand, then clay, and eventually rock. Suddenly out of nowhere, the land is no longer horizontal, but vertical. Slowly you begin to climb the rockface, going ever higher until you can't even see the ground below you anymore, nothing by a sea of fog and clouds to break your fall, until you go thorugh them.
Just as you're about to give up hope, you hand touches a rope. Swiftly you pull yourself up, and realize where you are. you are on top of the largest mountian in the range, stretching as far as the eye could see. But the mountain top was not pointed. Instead, stairs lead down deep inside of it to a glass domed structure in the middle of it. You walk slowly down stairs carefully carved into the mountain face to a pair of extremely large doors, at least 12 feet tall. As you push on them, they open with ease, letting you inside.

East Mountains Battle Dome Entry Way:When you first get by the doors, the cold stone of the mountain has been carved through to create a wide hallway. Light fixtures line the upper and lower area, letting the soft glow fill the area. The hallway has a slight incline, bringing you up to the main rooms, a place for coats just before it opens up. Main Viewing Room:The main veiwing room is very large and open, with a plexiglass doom roof to allow natural weather and light in. During the night there are lights around the upper areas of the roof that cast a gentle and dim glow around the area. There are many couches, spread all around the room for comfortable veiwing, with TVs mounted on the rock walls for watching the battle when the fighters are out of sight. There are two doors, one to the right and one to the left, and a doorway in the back of the Main Room, allowing access outside directly and quickly. Attached to on wall of the main room is a small bar, self-serve. There is a small refridgerator with cold drinks and ice, snacks and other quick eats. Locker Rooms, First Aid, and Hot Springs:To the right of the Main Room is the Locker Room, First Aid station and further in the back through a seperate door, the Hot Springs. The locker room is there to hold items of fighters, or those just hanging around in the hot springs, and also to change and prepare. The first aid station is there for obvious reasons: if you're injured, you can get help there. The hot springs are underground, with small holes in the rock ceiling to provide a low amount of light, keeping it calm and serene. It is warm and humid in the springs, with lots of plant life and natural rock formations creating the pool. Hand to Hand Combat Stadium:To the left of the main room, there are some stairs that lead down under the mountains further. When you come out of the passage, there are bright lights illuminating a large underground battle ring, with seating on one side, the side you came in on. This ring is strictly for hand to hand combat, no energy attacks allowed, due to the fact that you are underground, and it might bring the roof down on you.

Rules For the Mountain Dome: arrow Follow the Gaia TOS. Simple enough. arrow No cybering. This is a fighting arena, not a sex club. stare arrow If you choose to fight, then please, take it to either the Underground Arena, or outside to the mountain range. If it's the Underground Arena you take, please remember, no energy attacks in there. We don't want any cave-ins. ^ ^ arrow Yes, you can sleep over night here if you need to, but please, it's an arena, not a residents hall. So after a while, you will be kicked out. arrow Literacry is always appreciated. If you're fighting, please be clear and descriptive. arrow For Fighters:Please, take turns when fighting. You post, opponent posts, rinse and repeat. No godmodding, or auto-hits. And especially no deaths. It's kinda hard to bury people in the mountains. Just be curtious and be clear, and things will be good. For Spectators:Spectators, under no circumstances are you to interfer with a fight, unless it is a life and death matter. You may cheer on your fighter, but do not disrespect the other with slander. arrow Bumping, spaming, and other such n00bish actions are completely prohibited. Do any of these, and you will make....THE LIST. I don't want to have to put you on the list. stare arrow Damaging the outside area is fine, it's a mountain for crying out loud. THe Underground Arena will hold up pretty well to what fighters dish out, but it will be repaired on a regular basis to be sure. arrow Just have fun, and don't cause any trouble. Thank you. ^ ^ stressed THE LIST scream :No one yet. Keep it that way.

*Walking up to the doors, my wings, spread to expell exxcess heat, i pause, and gaze in wonder at the immense shields agains the elements. after a few moments, i aproch the door, and they swing open to grant me access. taking a deap breath, i walk in, my gate loping, as my four toed feet touch down gently, and the toes spread giveing me extra traction.
i look around, and see no one to talk to or fight with. i sigh, and shake my head, walking into the middle of the room. i look around once more, adn shimmer, my body looking like a mirage, and i disapear, only to reapear onth e other side of the hall.
i sit down, spreading my wings a little, and stretch out, wating for someone else to come along and talk to me. it looks to be a long wait.*

Psy, upon reaching the doorway, walked towards the centre of the main viewing room. He stood in the middle of the room for an endless amount of time with his eyes closed. Eventually, he looked to the fridge and the air seemed to ripple, as if it were water. He raised his hand lazily towards the fridge, and with his fierce eyes, focused heavily on it allowing his energy to reach out and touch all those that he had a connection with. As he felt his energy wrap around the fridge Psy jerked his hand back, lifted the other hand and spun away from the fridge. As he did so, the fridge door flung open, and several chunks of ice rocketed towards Psy. The fridge door closed and the pieces of ice hovered near Psy, he began to walk towards the stairs leading to the stadium.
Psy faultered on one step, his head bowed strain, and two of the chunks of ice fell to the ground. He sighed and reached towards to two shattered ice cubes, they turned to water and reformed their original shape, freezing once they did.
Psy Arrived at the stadium and stood in the centre of the ring, having his energy spin in a circle around him, forcing the ice to mimic it's shape. The ice started to spin faster, until i tlooked like a circle of ice surrounding him. Suddenly Psy jumped up and pushed his knees forward, into the circle, causing the ice to knock against them. Oddly, the ice clung to his knees and formed jagged icy knee-pads. Psy lands and quickly drew his bottle of water and metal fan, he splashes the water on the ground in a rouch circle around him and breaks the fan into flat indavidual metal bars which he dropped on the water.
Psy concetrates for a bit and raises his hand, the water ripples and the metal shifts. Suddenly a spout of water propels a metal band into the air, Psy responded by elbowing the piece of metal away. Another one shot away by Psy's icy knee, it became more and more rapid until Psy was a blur in a shimmering blue cylinder, pieces of metal and mostly ice flying around the stadium.
After awhile Psy stood still, almost all of the water dispersed throughout the stadium. He closed his eyes and spread his arms out. Psy allowed hsi energy to move about the room, penetrating everything, picking out the places where chunks of ice or metal lay, slowly he raised his hands and the chunks of metal, ice, and water gathered above him and started to look like a small planet of water, ice, and metal. Psy took out the bottle and forced the water back into it, he then waved hsi hands abotu and brough ttogether the pieces of metal into a fan again. "This won't do" he said while examining the incomplete fan. He made a round about the stadium and collected the remaining pieces of metal.
At this time, Psy felt a wave of fatigue. He made his way to the main viewing room where he sat down and rested.
~((time lapse... Oooohhh))~
After about an hour Psy gets up and leaves to wander about.

An old man walked through the doors and stood in the centre of the main viewing room. He took a deep breath and stood for a few minutes, enjoying rare silence. "Wonderous location." he said listening to the faint echo.
After awhile he continued his journey towards the arena. He stood at the edge of the arena and stabbed his large sword into the ground. Resting his bamboo cane against his sword, he dropped his bow and quiver beside the other weapons and moved towards the centre.
Once he arrived, the old man assumed a wide legged stance, left hand stretched outwards palm out. Right hand drawn inwards towards himself. He began to move slowly. Every minute or so a sudden lashing of speed then return to slowed movements. He continued in this pattern for a good hour.
Eventually he had worked his way all around the ring and back to the centre where he stopped and sat cross leggeed. He began to enter a deep state of meditation, his heart and chi rythmic as one.

The old man opened his eyes and blinked a few times. He felt quite refreshed as he got up and once again began attacking the air. As he did so there was a slight ripple in the air around him as he struck the air. His rapid movements caused the very image of him to shake. Sweating, the man gathered his stuff and walked out the door, with s wide smirk on his face.

The murderous KenoTao approaches the mountain after boring his way through the desert land. It seemed very few people were around as of late. How good these vermin were at running. Was he really that powerful? He personally wanted to be, but didn't think he was. Maybe it was time to deal with that fox...the red one. He still didn't much feel like it though. He wanted to deal with the weaker specimen first. That way they wouldn't run. They fight, thinking they stood a chance against him. That's what he wanted. To crush that pitiful imagination they had like glass under a stone. He looked up and acknowledged he couldn't see the top of the mountain from the base. It would at least occupy his time for a while. By the time he reached the top, maybe someone would show up. Then he'd have another good fight. Who knows...maybe they won't get away this time. But they were good at getting away. So very good...

How boring this was already becoming. He hadn't gone too far, leaving his ascent completely in the hands of his....hands. How easy it would be to just fly to the top. Through those clouds he'd likely see the peak. If not, that would just make the climb all the more time consuming. What was at the top though? If there was nothing worth recognizing, he'd just jump off and walk back to Orion. There he would find a warrior or two. Maybe three. Maybe they'd be smart enough to fight him as a team. It would be fun for him at least. He had fun throwing User around. Caine wasn't even a bother to him. He wanted that again, but he was satisfied without. He wasn't much for encores. He'd already proven to them both not to mess with him. He wouldn't bother toying with them like he had previously. He would just kill them. Go straight through them and carry on about his merry way. That's what he'd do. But first, he had to get to the top of this mountain.

Nestled atop the highest reaches on the Mountain train he sat there in meditation the brisk artic like winds whipping his about his face. Being an artic fox, he felt most at piece amongst the cold temperatures. The current state of solitude was gratifying against the usual hustle and bustle of his daily travels. Yawning he opened his sincing the tinge of a live sign making its way up the mountain side.
"I suspect I shall come into some company soon...ah well. Such things could be of interest."
Resting his hands upon his knees he scanned the horizon finding it primarily devoid of activity.
"Perhaps, they too wish for solace."

It had been a little over an hour now. Keno was getting restless. This mountain wasn't even a challenge. His largest difficulty was finding a foothole here and there. Whenever he couldn't find one, he'd just punch or kick a hole in the mountain wall. That was it. No other problems. Gravity, weather, exhaustion. He was barely aware of these. He really hoped someone would come along an entertain him with hopes of living. Maybe at the top. Or maybe at the bottom. He would go to the top first. Certainly anyone who made it up here was worth beating.

Uprooting his great blade from the mountain top he strapped it to his back tracking the long energy signature peering over the jagged terrain. Perching atop the elevated stone he peered down on the figure coming his way.
"Hmmm...surprising to meet another at these elevations. I must commend your means for coming this far. It takes one with a great deal of endurance. Claspsing the crook in the mountain side he grinned broadly beneath the ragged scarf that obscured the majority of his face. Letting his ragged cloaks wave behind him he stared at the other man with dull hued eyes.
"Who might you be?"
