I saw the Abstract Gender thread, so I figured we could use one for "The Wotch" as well.

Arbitrary discussion starter!

I like how the Jason/Sonja thing has evolved. He used to hate being TGed all the time, then he grew to accept it, and now he actively seeks it. I really hope Ann explores that more. I think a fun story arch would be if Jason got stuck as Sonja for a while, and had to face being a girl full time instead of as a fun escape. And Larry would have to be involved, for awesomeness purposes. biggrin

The wotch is a great comic. Probly one the best TG comics on the web, or at the lest one of the best that update regulery.

My favorite thing about The Wotch is the fact that the main character can TG someone with a wave of her hand.

In a story I'm writing, one of the characters is a kitsune who also can swap people's genders with nothing more than a snap of her fingers.

Also, I love the whole Jason/Sonja thing. As a girl who is a geek, I love the whole "geeks can be girly too" thing.

I think what I just said made sense....

yeah the wotch is very cool. she seems to be leaning towards the wotches porpose thing so the sonja stuck senario may not be coming up soon. Although it could be an interesting sub story within the story.

The wotch is pretty good. Although there hasn't been an update in quite a while....

There was one due wednessday but it got pushed back I guess. Certain aspects of the Wotch dissapoint me really. The Cheer Squad not even caring about who they were for one.

Most of them got memory wiped in the process. Jo seems to have been immune to that or something, since she does remember... but I think her own little secret was that she wanted it.

I don't really count the Wotch as a TG comic so much as a comic that does TG things (same with EGS actually.) So I guess that's why some of the aspects don't really bug me.
The Cheer spinoff comic, though... not sure. I was sorta meh about it until Jo got a bit emo about her memories, and then I was hooked. Tsel doesn't seem to be exploring that side much anymore, which is a shame IMO, but it's still interesting enough.

Ulness it West erased their memories, all still should have them. Fem Anne said she only erased a barrier of some short in their minds.

I thought West did erase most of the memories of them having been boys during a big cleanup phase of... well, most of what Anne had left lying around from that period.
