This RP is for SwampieeStar and The Kat Aclysm.Uncerted Phoenix Wright reffy: http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/kat_aclysm/gaia_pet_storage/PhoenixWright.jpg================== Phoenix wandered out of the house he had been staying in since he had arrived at the Mountain. He had left his caretakers alone today and wandered outside by himself, intending to explore his new surroundings properly. It was a nice day outside, his belly was full of breakfast, his shirt and suit were nicely ironed and clean, and his hair was neat. In short, he felt comfortable and content. He figured that if he took walks like this every day, he'd soon learn his way around.
The spiky-haired winged Kitsusagi trotted away from the house in a southerly direction, heading through forest and grassland. The sun warmed his back and the tips of his long ears. It felt rather nice, he had to admit. He ventured further out, heading down the Mountain path, out of Mountain territory altogether, figuring he had all the time in the world today. It wasn't like anyone would use his services as a Defense Attorney much any more. He doubted that most of the inhabitants of the land even knew what a lawyer was, or the process of litigation.
He was pretty sure he'd be able to remember the way back. It had been mostly a straight line away from the house so far...
"This place is pretty quiet and peaceful... not at all like the city. I could get used to this." He thought aloud to himself, as he glanced up at some fruits high in the trees. A light breeze blew through the area, causing his wings to instinctively raise and catch the wind, his wing feathers rustling. Instinct was nagging at him to fly, but he himself would not - he was too afraid to. He had tried once, and only once so far. That had ended in utter disaster.
"There's no way I'm going to do something dangerous like that..." He muttered to himself.
He kept his ears raised high, and continued to wander, thinking that it might be nice to meet somebody new. If his old friend was right about not all Kitsusagi being 'mean' or 'evil, he would soon find out.

The green clad kitsu drifted absently with the breeze. Gliding was so much easier than flapping her wings tirelessly until she was unable to move one more feather. Gliding wasn't as fast but, with those Southern winds, one could sail for what seemed like forever. The lack of effort also helped if something needed repairs and something did in fact need repairs. Big time. Fumbling around with the small beads that once adorned her hair piece, Quo attempted to string them back together. It was a futile effort but on her part, she knew that, but she was determined to fail herself without anyone looking over her shoulder to say 'I told you so...'
Her ruffled feathers gave a soft and gentle movement to keep her momentum going as she struggled with the little jewels in her paws. "This...isn't gonna work." Much to her disdain, she once again came to the same conclusion that if she couldn't string them on the ground, then what possible hope did she have in the air?
With a humbled and frustrated sigh, she let them drop carefully in the strung pouch under her robes only to watch one tumble from the protective shelter and plummet towards the ground. "Not this time!'" She quickly darted from the breeze's effects and pressed her wings against her sides, making a straight dive for the small red bead.

The spiky-haired Kitsusagi wandered further across the grassland, his ears attentive to the thrum of bees buzzing around flowers nearby. He had no real idea of where he was now, but it had been fun to explore and to get here. He soon found nice things to eat at ground level - his Kitsusagi nose was wiggling like mad as he walked over to a bush, the scents coming from it telling him that the berries growing on it would be good to eat. It's leaves smelled positively divine. The kitsusagi stood in front of the bush, pawing at some of the small fruits. He took a bite out of one and began to chew, seeming somewhat dissapointed.
"Not as good as apples, but eh..." He shrugged. "Good enough. Going to have to remember this if I don't want to starve."
At that moment, something small struck him hard on the head. It came from the sky at high velocity, and the Kitsusagi was totally unexpecting of it. He cried out in pain and made a loud yelp, staggering backwards away from the bush on his hind legs, paws clutching at his head, quite messing up his spiky hair. He heard the object softly land in the grass a short distance away, though at that moment, it wasn't a high priority.
"Ow, pain!!" He yelled, squeezing his eyes shut. "Pain, pain, PAIN!!"
When he had recovered after a moment, he began to look all around him, attentive, wondering what had hit him.
"Owwww..." He grumbled, rubbing his head. "What the heck was that?"

Quo's dive grew more intense as she closed in on he target when a loud cry reached her ears. Her bead had disappeared from sight and whatever was down there was most likely not enjoying something. Her wings flared as she tried to stop herself from falling to the ground like a brick.
She almost forgot her utter failure at landing. This time wouldn't change her mind.
The scene below her grew more apparently as she dropped, wings beating against the wind to gain some sort of weak stability. In her mind, she would've gotten the bead and kept on her way but that plan was obviously falling apart. At least she wasn't falling from to high this time. The last time she found herself in this situation, the crash landing wasn't so comfortable. She curled her wings around herself to save her feathers as the foliage came closer and closer.
Suddenly, her paws caught something. Quo clutched what she soon found to be a branch of some kind, stopping her fall from continuing. The kitsu let out a sigh of relief as she scrambled to rest her belly on the seemingly strong branch. Purple eyes starred down at the ground when something reddish caught her eyes.
"There you are!." Afraid to dive again, she looked around until something else or someone else rather caught her eye. After hearing that sound earlier she wondered if it was him. It wasn't like there was someone else there right?...
"Pardon the intrusion but, did you say something a moment ago?." Odd question but small talk was good...right?

Phoenix's attention was still focussed on the area around him, one paw still rubbing his head. Fortunately for him, he had a rather hard skull, so there was no permanent damage. But it still hurt. He shook his head slightly, sighing. He was going to get a headache out of it for sure. He still didn't know what struck him, and he turned his attention to the ground around him, wondering what the object was. He didn't find it.
The spiky haired Kitsu in the smart blue suit found himself glancing at the sky now, wondering if there was more of the same coming. It was then that he noticed something falling out of the sky, or rather, someone. He blinked his eyes a few times, wondering whether or not what he was seeing was real or not. He watched as it... or rather, her, as she came in towards the ground, grabbing onto a branch of a nearby tree, hauling herself up onto it.
"Wings..." His attention was immediately on them. "She can fly..."
"Oh, yeah, um... I did." He began, stuttering as he was spoken to. He moved to stand on his hinds, one paw still rubbing his head. "But I was, um... talking to myself. Something hit me, it fell out of the sky. I don't know what it was, but it struck me between right on the top of my head and it hurt really bad." He frowned at her. "Why are you in that tree? Are you stuck?"

The fall to the ground wasn't nearly as painful. "No. No. I'm quite alright once I get my footing. Quo chuckled weakly, plucking the bead between her paws. Her beads were small but with some momentum they could probably have taken his eye out with ease.
She held out the small treasure to him. "I think this might have been the culprit. I didn't mean for it to fall or anything. I guess I shouldn't do anything while I'm flying. Gosh, I hope it didn't hurt you too badly." She craned her neck as if trying to see past the spiky head of hair for any sign of trauma.
"I'm so sorry. I'm just so darn clumsy with everything.
Ruffled wings curled around her when she noticed his attention to them. Her own eyes darted to the bright ones on his own back. "Well, I guess you would know what happens when you drop things from the sky. It's a game roulette, hoping it won't hit anyone."
