The Mountain Region

Tucked away within the comforts of the Mountain is a wooden cabin. It seems humble enough upon first glance, but hidden in the interior is the Kitsusagi Headquarters of this region. It holds all the familiar comforts of any of the other Kitsusagi Headquarters, just located at a higher altitude.

The area immediately surrounding this cabin is surrounded by many pine trees which leave a litter of needles upon the dusty ground. Most of the wildlife which looms within these mountainous regions reside in the wooded area. Yet the farther away one moves from the cabin, the more sparce the plant life becomes. The ground is covered in a decent amount of rocks, along with the occasional boulder, rarely supplying a smooth path towards any other location in this region.

Towards the western edge of the Mountain lays a small waterfall which then leads into a small trickling creek which then weaves its way through the remainder of the mountain. Should a lost kitsusagi need a drink, this creek serves well, for not only does it supply water, but it also leads back to the woods as well.

Higher up the Mountain is a small cave, which strangely enough is filled with icicles. The weather outside is not that dreadfully cold, even at the higher altitude, so the mystery as to why this cave is so cold remains a mystery. This cave is called the Ice Cave by those who frequently travel the mountain.

Upon the southern side of the Mountain, towards the base of the mountain, is another cave. Yet this cave is far different from the Ice Cave. It is adorned with bones upon the walls, though seeming to be more in a decorative fashion. The walls also have some faded drawings upon them, though what these drawings represent, nobody knows. However, this place seems to hold a sort of holy aura to it, despite the grim atmosphere.

Legend has it that mysterious figures are seen near this cave from time to time, but that is only legend... right?
