Do you consider Inuyasha strong. I don't. I know that being a half-demon is a handicap but he's said to be stronger than his father, the Great Dog General. I think he's only strong because of the Tessaiga. He swings his sword at almost every chance he gets. His half-brother has more restraint and barely uses his swords.

I think he's strong and he has the better sword, but Sesshomuru kicks a** exclaim

I think Inuyasha....Is strong. But Definatly for sure Sesshomaru is better! He doesn't need his sword to fight...unlike Inuyasha. But then again....Inuyasha doesn't want to hurt his friends by transforming, so he NEEDS the Tetsaiga. Still......Sesshomaru is BETTER!! heart mrgreen

I think he's not as strong as Sesshomaru but smater because how many times did Inuyasha beat him? A lot! Wait but he's not as smart so it is his determination. As he put it in the second movie, "It's not that I don't know when to give up, I just don't like doing it." Also his arrogance just makes him stubborn so that probably contributes too. The downside is he blindly rushes into battle most of the time sweatdrop

I agree. He really isnt that srong without his sword.Inuyasha does have his sword though...so therefore he is strong.However, Shessy is much stronger. He could kill Inuyasha whenever he wanted....^^

All his father seemed to do was seal demons instead of kill them. He never seemed very strong to me, despite how much bigger he was than Sesshoumaru's dog demon form is now. Inuyasha destroyed the demons his own father sealed. Handicapped with human blood seems to only make him stronger, as Inuyasha said:

'When a human's got someone he's gotta protect, his power grows exponentially! I have what it takes to defeat you...all thanks to my human mother!'
