So my brother is a porn addict.

Or something relatively close to a porn addict?

Last Monday, I walked in on him watching it. I MEAN, YEAH, CALL ME CLUELESS, but it had sound. It had images. This isn't the first time it's happened, though.
A year ago spring, he got busted for watching it. I mean then he was eleven, now he's twelve. It just seems kind of wrong that he should be looking/watching/AWARE of something like that.

Back to last Monday:
He doesn't know I'm standing behind him- and then I say, "You know you aren't supposed to be watching that." He then quickly assumes a less-than-guilty face, and quickly closes the internet explorer window.
My mother's in her room sleeping, my father's off in Houston for work, I'm back in my room cleaning, and OUT IN THE KITCHEN IN THE MIDDLE OF FREAKING EVERYTHING, HE'S GOT HIS HAND DOWN HIS PANTS AND HE'S WATCHING SOMETHING CALLED "a girl and 4plus guys". Holy ******** hell.

So I give him the benefit of the doubt. I change the password to the desktop, and I change the password to the internet filter (JUST IN CASE HE'S GOT IT ALL FIGURED OUT) and strengthen the internet settings. And I delete the website from the internet history, thinking to myself, "if he tries it again, he won't be successful."

THE VERY NEXT DAY. THE VERY NEXT DAY. He attempts to go to another website. AND BAM, he's blocked. I'm like, "yes! My firewall skillz beat j00."

... My success doesn't last, at anyrate.
It basically just got worse. So Saturday morning, I wake up, pick up a book, and just start reading. My parents go out to Home Depot to get some stuff, and (unknownst to me) my brother gets up. And gets on the computer. HE LOOKS AT THE STUFF, AGAIN. WHAT THE HELL? Internet skillz=failed.
I basically had a breakdown, if that's what you can call it. It was a mess, I was a mess. I changed all the passwords again, reset the settings. Put it all on "child" settings. Basically, if I can sum up my entire feelings at the time: unclean, frustrated, EXTREMELY disturbed and disgusted.
That evening, I also texted my mom, explaining why I kept changing the settings and the passwords and junk, and that I didn't want to talk to her about it. I mean, my mother and I are not the best of buddies anyway, and bringing us into the whole "sexual" talks just with the subject of porn would not be a very good idea.

And so, bringing us to this last Sunday, I got in trouble. For protecting the little bugger. I mean, my parents didn't know I was protecting him. But I basically got chewed up, and spit out- for changing the passwords and stuff.


My mother did not read her text until TONIGHT.

At which point, she tried to talk to me about it.
Blah blah blah.
It went something like this: "Is it Alex? Is it your father? Is it you?" Which I basically set myself up for, by not naming names in the text.....................
Blah blah blah.

Anyway, I'm all feeling unclean again- and I kind of feel disgusted with myself and with the entire situation.

My friend Jon is like, "he's making up for the fact that you're asexual."
Me: "Yeah. Too bad his personality sucks. He could give my mom the grandchild she wants when we get older."


EDIT: AND RIGHT NOW, THIS MOMENT, SHE'S TALKING TO HIM IN THE KITCHEN. crying

Wow... well... my dad watches porn a lot while he's at work. xd One time I was using his laptop and I was gonna go onto aim.com to use aim express, and I typed the A in and I got all this weird stuff like "adult videos" and wow... it was insane. @_@
But anyway, I had told my mom and showed her the names of the sites. xd and she was just like "pervert!" but I don't think she said anything to him.
But... yeah... I don't really know any younger people that look at porn.. and that definetaly is wrong and disgusting and your brother should be stopped... so maybe you should say it is your brother, so he'll be stopped.

Well, there's no reason to feel unclean, I'm sure your brother is probably goin' through some phase. I have a feelin' he overheard or was around people too old for him, and the idea of wantin' sex was put into his skull. At his age fittin' in is what it's all about, so he must be tryin' to do what he heard others were doin' or somethin'. I don't really know how to put an end to it, but if it is a phase it'll go away. Perhaps if he could be around more people with a positive influence, or if there was one way for him to see how it's not fittin' in or somethin'. Then again, maybe he wants to be more "grown up".

Anyhoo, for the asexual thing, parents normally think up what they want for their kids when they're growin' up, so if that should alter it can upset them, but over time when you get older they realize that the path you chose for yourself is the right one! If they don't, then they suck.

I'm sure he's just curious.

Real girls won't do half the things that go on in porns.

Don't be too quick to rush to judgement on the porn addict thing, he may just be learning about his hormonal drives. This could be something that passes quickly.

I'm asexual too.
