The art club is located in the main art room on the first floor. The room itself is about 12m (about 30.3 ft) deep and 36m (about 118.1 ft) wide. Huge windows brought some natural light in to the room. Each window had thick drapes that prevented any light from entering the room if need be, so that the students could control the lighting for their projects.

As you enter the room you are greeted by dozens of easels and drawing horses all strategically placed around a central table that currently has a mixed still life on it. Three different types of light stand were fixed to the floor around the table.

On the same wall as the door you entered are floor to ceiling cabinets filled with different types of medium (different types of paper, cardboard, wood, paints, pencils, charcoal, clay, etc), along with different types of tools that the students could use for their projects (brushes, erasers, paint trays, etc)

Further down the room were pottery wheels and a large table for pottery making as well as a cart with tins full of different tools.

At the very end of the room was a single door with a red light above it. The sign next to the door read:

DARK ROOM

DO NOT ENTER
WHEN LIGHT IS ON

Yuriko quickly opened the door to the art room carrying her portfolio. "Sorry I'm late," She called out to Nana, "I couldn't seem to find my recent drawing."

Yuriko looked around to see that they were in fact the first ones there, "At least I got here before everyone else."

"A contest... hmm..." Yuriko repeated to herself as she sat at one of the drawing horses.

"Well, lets see. We'd need to make it so that there is a good turn out so..." Yuriko pause as she set up her drawing and pulled out her 6B pencil. "We should allow different types of media... that way people can submit their best possible work. For instance, I'm good with a pencil but horrible with clay. So no matter what the subject was my work would look better if done in pencil than if done with clay."

Yuriko finished defining on of the rolls in the cloth then continued. "As for a subject matter. Perhaps people in motion." She turned to face Nana. "People can be one of the hardest things to draw realistically, and even harder when in motion, bringing that out in clay is even harder, and in photography it can be difficult to make the motion look like it is meant to be there."

Yuriko put the tip of pencil to the bottom of her lips and looked up, "But then again it might give a big advantage to the photographers, painters and drawers..."

Yuriko started chuckling... "I guess I did." Yuriko turned back to her work.

That must have made me sound like an idiot. Now what do I do?

"It is a fantasy about a dragon turned into a samurai worrior, on a quest to regain his true form, but to do that he must find and save the Goddess of the Snow from an Unfathomable beast, then take her to the top of Fujiyama and spill her blood on the snow," She said while opening the darkroom door, "However, while they journey there they fall in love and he must decide which he would rather have, his love or his former power and life."

Yukimi picks up a ball of string. Now where are those clothes pins?

"I'll let you read it when it is done," she paused slightly, "Ryuu-sempai? Are you feeling alright? You usually are more composed than this."

"The twins give everyone a hard time, I'd have thought you'd have built up an immunity to it by now," she said walking out of the dark room, "It is a wonder to me as to why you asked them to join the Host Club anyway, I'd have thought that that twin thing would have been played out long ago, with the first group of hosts at this school."

The door swung shut behind her, the art room was empty save for the two intruders carrying the string and clothes pins.

"Ryuu-sempai, you never blush at girls, if anything it is the other way around, yet you blushed at me when asking about my novel," she said inquisitively, "You have been acting very out of character, normally you'd help the damsel in distress, which in this case is Yuriko, yet you came with me, leaving her in Terrence's care."

Yukimi stood in wonderment for a little bit.

Men are very odd, both Ryuu and Terrence, yet something compels me to follow both of them.

Yukimi regained her senses and followed Ryuu out to the Sakura Garden.

The Next Day

After she left Ryuu, Yukimi went to the school office, found the official school picture of herself and Keiko, and headed up to the art club's room.

She looked similar enough to me that I wonder if that is why she singled me out. I'm curious as to what she would look like with black hair and me with blonde hair?

Yukimi found her friend from middle school there, Sato Yamamaru, he was a wiz at using Photoshop.

"Yamamaru, could you switch the hair color of these two pictures for me? I don't need anything else done on it," Yukimi asked.

"Yeah, sure I guess," Yamamura replied looking a little confused, "But why do you want to see a picture of yourself as blonde? I thought you liked your perfect pure black hair?"

"I do like my hair the way it is, I'm just testing another person to recognize me."

"Oh, I see."

"Thank you so much for doing this for me, let me know if there is anyway I can make it up to you."

Yamamaru went straight off to work on the pictures, along with his own projects for the Art Club and Yukimi turned around and headed home for the day.
