Announcing the first-ever Cosplay Parade in Seattle! heart
The meet up point is at 10th and King in Seattle's International District at 6 o'clock on July 22nd. Team Sakura team leaders will be on the ground to meet everyone, and to give instructions.

Attention Guild Members: There will be a small gathering of cosplayers at the Oasis Tea Zone accross the street from Kinokuniya Bookstore. If you are participating or merely just coming to see all the fun, it might be nice to show up at the gathering. Simply arrive around 4pm, and it might be a good idea to bring something to eat for an early dinner. Hope to see you there! ~Kara Kazeneko

Free feel to participate in Seattle's first cosplay parade! We'll be participating at Chinatown's Summerfest Parade. A great way to show your creations and hardwork to a broader and wider audience! We'll be promoting SakuraCon by participating in this parade.
-No Full body/masked costumes. (ie, moogle suits, pikachu suits, etc)
-Family Friendly.
-if possible, submit a photo/descripton for approval.
-If participation is high, we will group similar cosplayers into teams (ie,
Final Fantasy, Naruto, Inu Yasha, etc)
Since this is our FIRST time doing this parade we REALLY want a great turn out. Tell all your friends to dig out their costumes and come on down! Sakura-Con /ANCEA thanks you! I hope everyone has a blast! I'd be there myself but I have to head out of town. Please take lots of pictures!

Please note that this Parade is Open to All, and people can drop by last minute to participate, so long as their cosplay are family friendly and follow other restrictions.
When upon arrival, please check in your name with the lead contacts, VENICE WONG or JOHN ULTZ (they'll be the ones with the papers and pen). If you are a last minute drop-in, I would also like you to sign in as well, just for statistical purposes.
*Remember to dress right for the weather, bring some water, wear some comfortable shoes*

6:30PM - Photo Shoot with Seattle Public Library's Bookineers. (Book Cart Drill Team) [We will use these are cross promotion for both Sakura Con and Seattle Public Library]
7:00PM till end of Parade - Parade.
During the parade, walk down the street evenly as possible, wave, smile, and cheer on. It is hard to determine when the parade will end, estimation will be 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
