As you leave the Northwestern Courtyard you enter the Sakura Garden. Rolling hills of flowers cover the garden with winding stone paths between. An old Sakura tree sits atop a hill in the Northeastern part of the garden. Blankets are set out under the tree so that students may enjoy the tree's blooms.
Near the center of the garden is a koi pond with water lilies through out the pond and a small Japanese Maple sitting on the South side of the pond allowing a little shade for the koi. Two stone benches are on the east and west sides of the pond.

Yukimi sits down on the eastern stone bench and pulls out a pen and her manuscript.
Finally, I can get back to my novel. It is so hard to think with all those people in class.
Just as she begins to write a light gust begins to blow, casting the pages up into the sky, only to settle down in the koi pond.
"Great, now I have to get my dress wet," She muttered, venom dripping with her words.

As Ryuu rounded one of the hills he noticed that Yukimi was about to go into the koi pond. What is she thinking? It's just paper.
He turned around hoping that Yukimi hadn't seen him and he'd get away without helping. But a ping of pre-guilt hit him and he found himself over by the pond wading into the pond to fish out the papers.

Yukimi looked up after picking up several sopping wet sheets of her manuscript to see Ryuu gathering up her pages as well. She recognized him from the news articles she had read last year, involving the disagreement between a yakuza family and an industrialist's family, though she didn't remember what the disagreement was about.
What is he doing? His family doesn't need my gratitude, if anything is true it is the opposite, I need his Family's help. He's just going to make a fool of himself.
"Thank you, Ryuu-sempai, you didn't need to help me get my manuscript," she said walking over to him, allowing her dress to flow in the water as it was already very wet, "I'm sure you have far better things to do than get wet, grabbing pages of my novel."
As she got to him, Yukimi slipped on a smooth rock, falling forward on top of Ryuu, plunging them both into the pond.
What a klutz I am

Ryuu took a moment to realize what was happening. Shoot, why did this have to happen
He lifted Yukimi up and helped her out of the koi pond while watching where he was stepping as to not step on any of the koi.
"It's quite alright Miss Yukimi." Ryuu replied as he set her on the side of the pond. "As a member of the Host Club it would be very rude of me to over look anyone who needed help," He climbed out of the pond, handed her the papers and with a smile continued, "Especially you Miss Yukimi, now you lets get you inside so you don't catch cold."

A tad flabbergasted and a little annoyed at being carried by this boy she hardly knew, Yukimi struggled to keep a kind face for Ryuu.
"Don't give me that Host Club speech, you aren't in the Host Club right this minute, you are just being you," she said on the edge of sounding harsh, catching herself she continues, "We should change out of these wet clothes, sorry about falling on you, I can be a bit of a klutz at times. To repay you for your kindness, would you like a nice ice-cream crepe? The chef here knows a wonderful recipe."

Getting annoyed himself by Yukimi's unusual response Ryuu just shook his head, "No thank you, I should be getting to the 3rd Floor Music Room."
As Ryuu headed off he turned back to Yukimi, smiled and said as nicely as he could, "Just because I am currently at the Host Club doesn't mean that I am not a Host. I represent the Host Club no matter where I am."
With that he turned and walked out of the garden.

Now I've done it, I've made him mad. This isn't going to look good for me or my family.
Chasing after Ryuu, Yukimi called out, "I'm sorry, I don't mean to be so harsh, it is just that most of the people in this school are phonies."
I'll have to apologize to him later, properly.

Terrence making his way through the gardens and leaving the two ladies he had met before behind, he slipped behind a tree when he saw Ryuu. "tsk." Everywhere I go he's always around He though hotly. Once Ryuu disappeared he emerged. He didn't really know Ryuu, but Terrence had seen him in the news papers and from the shrill whispers and squeels from the female student body.
A soft watery whisper whispered out. He looked down and found he had stepped on one of the pages from the girl's manuscript. He bent down to a knee and shook out a neck scarf he had tucked away in his pocket. He dabbed the paged gently absobing some of the water before he lifted it up. He flipped open his book and took out a page sized slice of poster board and carefully slipped it under the fallen page. He closed the book and pocketed his scarf and walked over to the girl, who was around the hedge corner, with the poster board and the page at hand. "Pardon me, Miss, but is this your's?" He asked in a soft airy way.

Yukimi turned around to see Terrence walking to her with one of the pages of her manuscript. Yukimi recognised Terrance from pictures at a hotel that frequently gave one of her family's hot springs lots of business. A soft blush came to her cheeks.
"Yes, thank you Sempai," she said with a bow, drops of water fell off her head and upon the ground, she began to rise up again, "I must look terrible, I'm such a klutz, and I think I offended Ryuu."
Yukimi walked over and grabbed the page and placed it upon the ground with a small rock on top of it, to prevent it from blowing away, along side the other pages, set out in a similar fashion.

He gave Yukimi a kind smile. "Not at all. He will come around. He's that kind of person. A man to be envied." He said. "Here," he handed her a thick napkin, that would be found at a five star hotel or resturant, reusable and disposable, "This will help you dry off a bit." He said smartly.
"Pardon me for asking, but, do you happen by any chance the daughter of the Kuroshima family that owns the hot springs in the mountains?...Oh! Sorry for the rudness, I am Terrance Maxwell." He introduced with a bow. He straightened up, smiling with one of his lens catching the sun's rays.

"Yes, I am Kuroshima Yukimi, heir to the Kuroshima estate. It is a pleasure to finally meet you Terrance-sempai," she said while bowing.
A breeze blew rustling the wet papers and chilling Yukimi in her wet dress.
It'd be very rude and very bad for my family if I just left but I can't just stay here, soaking wet.

He waited to see her reaction, he wanted to, I suppose test the girl of her standing. The wind blew and he saw a slight shiver from her, he knew the weather was a cool day and it wasn't too pleasant standing dripping wet. Thinking he couldn't standing any longer, since her reaction time was a bit on the slow side, or on the stubborn side that was bound to whatever her family might think, he took the initiative to say, "The winds are starting to pick up." He said calmly, taking his jacket off and stepping closer and drapping her shoulders with it. "You must be cold standing there so wet. Why don't I walk you in." He said kindly, with a slight bend and an arm extending towards the school.

Yukimi smiled kindly at Terrance and grabbed her, now slightly less wet, manuscript.
"Thank you, you are so sweet," she said in ernest, "I need to change into a dry dress, how about I meet you in the central salon."

" ah." He simply replied with a nod with his head. "might I let me walk you in? I need to go to my room too, I believe we will be heading the general direction for some time." he said quietly.
