The courtyard is surrounded by a meter (about 3ft) high mossy brick wall. Four sakura trees are blooming in each corner. A stone path leads from the school to a bubbling fountain in the center of the courtyard gives a nice zen fell to the entire space. The rest of the ground is covered in soft grass. At the opposite end of the courtyard is another path leading to a large garden.
Although small, the courtyard is a nice place for students to rest outdoors.

Nana sat herself on one of the Sakura trees and placed her iPod on while she took photographs of some of the handsome guys playing in front of her.
I don't know why I get so shy around boys.. she thought as shook her head and proceeded to photograph some Sakura blossoms.

Shiori let out a sigh as she sat down underneath a Sakura tree. She liked the school well enough, she just felt a little odd, like she didn't belong or something. Shiori hoped though, that she would be able to socialize more, and thusly, she was here. However, the only person she saw was another female student photographing trees in another corner. She wanted to go talk to this other student, but she remained silent and by herself in the opposite corner. She had to think of what to say...And, gather enough courage to actually say something.

Yuriko came out into the courtyard looking around she noticed Nana in one of Sakura trees.
Well she is in the same club as me so maybe she'll talk to me a bit.
Yuriko was a few paces from the tree when one of the boys ran into her knocking her over. She let out a slight gasp as she fell to the ground. "Ouch." She mumbled as she sat up.

Shiori's attention went quickly from the girl by the trees to another girl, whom she'd noticed had just fallen. So, she walked over to this other girl to make sure she was alright. She called out to the boy who had knocked this girl down first, "Jerk!", she shouted. Then Shiori looked back at the girl, and asked a little shyly; "A-Are you okay?"

Nana's attention was caught when her fellow club member was knocked over by an insensitive boy.
Now I remember why I don't like boys that much. she thought as she rushed over together with another girl to help Yuriko up.
Nana looked at Yuriko and she was glad that Yuriko was okay. "Want me to beat them up?" Nana asked smirking mischievously.

Terrence quietly sat in the shade of a large tree with his arms crossed and with one foot playing with a cat tail to tease the fish and a overly large text book resting in the grass next to him.
He spoke in a velvet, quiet, and yet strong tone; "Try if you want to. But I'll tell you this, you'll only be wasting your time. Those guys are part of the self proclaimed 'Masters of the East Wing of Ouran High" Idiots, to put it simple, and very rude, with large egos. If you go and attempt any type of your girlish resistance, you will most likely end up being stalked for about a term, with your buttercup dresses in the mud...or... in the kitchen's tomato sauce reserves." He said, somewhat bored. He lifted his right hand and took off his glasses, that now little light that filtered in through the leaves, finally let go of the dark cover, you could now tell his eyes were not entirely black, but a very dark dark brown.

Shiori sighed again, it was rather sad actually, how true the boy's statement was. And then she turned to the girl who had offered to beat them up, and spoke herself; "Violence isn't really the answer anyways, it only makes you as bad them..However, they do need to be taught a lesson or two in manners and proper respect. Someone could get hurt, including themselves. I mean, really, you'd think people would be more civil than that, granted far worse goes on in everyday life, but still, that annoys me so much..", and that was the truth, stuff like this bugged Shiori a lot.

"I-I am fine." Yuriko said to Shiori. Turning to Nana she shook her head, "No, he just didn't see me." She got up and then continued, "But thank you never the less."
Yuriko brushed some of the dirt from her dress. "I should get this cleaned before the dirt sets in. I'll see you later."
With that Yuriko ran off inside.

Terrence turned his head, a ray of sun glittered in his eye; making his dark brown iris shine like light on ribboned chocolate. He slipped his glasses back on. He pushed a stray strand of hair away from his eye and looked up to the two remaining girls by him, "Aren't one of you, ladies, from the Host Club?" he asked kindly.

Shiori turned yet again to face the boy. "Oh uh, Well, I've gone there once or twice..I've been a bit busy with the Club I'm actually a member in, well, Secretary, but..Why, are you a Host there?", she asked, blinking. She was relatively new to the Academy, but she hadn't really seen him around, or rather, didn't remember doing so. It wasn't unlikely for her to forget a face, having been rather busy lately, but she'd hoped she hadn't, she really disliked doing things like that.

Nana just shrugged. "The Host Club...? I've heard of the place, but I've never really gone there.."

He looked at Shiori with strong stern eyes. He blinked and his look softened. "No, I'm not. If I was you wouldn't find me here alone." He said with a gentle smile. "I just thought perhaps you were part of the Female Side of the Host Club, since you certainly look the part." He said softly. He picked up his book and stood up straightening his shirt and pants. "Well I better be off. Dinner is in a hour. Good bye ladies." He said with a bow then turn and left.

"Oh..right...good bye..", Shiori mumbled as the boy walked away. Shiori could be one not to notice little things, and sometimes she could be- And she had very well noticed that stern look in his eyes. She found it interestingly odd, actually. ..Look the part? What does that mean?I'm not even sure if that was an insult or what.., she thought to herself as she looked down at the Uniform she wore. The Ouran uniform didn't suit her much, in her opinion, dresses weren't her "Thing". [Actually, she would prefer to wear the Boys', but of course this wasn't going to happen, so she was going to have to deal."Dress aside", she found herself mumbling very softly to herself,"I'd originally come out here to do something..What was it?", she then looked back over to where she'd originally been sitting.Oh, right.., she thought and walked back over there, where she had a pad and pencil laying in the grass. Shiori sat back down and started sketching, poorly, a Sakura tree. She wasn't that great of an Artist, but it was something to work from so she could label the parts of the trees, seeing as she didn't have much else to do at the moment.

Nana sighed. Fine.. Ignore me that way. she thought looking after the boy who just left and turned to talk to the girl he was speaking to.
"Ehh?" Ah. There she is. She was seated and seemed to be drawing something. Nana went to her for a closer look.
"Hmm.. If you shade that part," Nana pointed to the roots that Shiori was sketching, "It would define the shadow of the tree." Nana smiled. "Just saying."
