Username: Midnight Syn

Character name: Idrael Se'Naemir

Race: Naem'ir

Age: 2, 786.

Height: 6' 1"

Weight: 205lbs.

Physical Description: Muscular, but he is far from bulkly. His body type is one that is naturally lean and slender. He is lighter in comparison to many of his height and sex, but his weight matches well with his current build. He is no less powerful for his naturally light body. His skin tone is a fairly dark shade, a few tones darker then a well developed tan. On his hand is a marking that all royal family members have, though it is not the mark of the heir.

The man's hair is cropped to be about two inches long, a deep midnight in colour. Naturally tosseled in a appearamce, the silky strands fall across his brow, obcurring parts of his face. Idrael's eyes are a piercing crystalline violet, icey at one's first glance. His eyelids are naturallynarrow, giving his expression a certain aura of subtle confidence that is reflected in the rest of his expression

History: The second born son of the Naem'ir King of Bryre, he was never destined to rule. He grew up in the shadow of his older brother, Jophiell. Left behind when it came to anything for everyone focused on his brother the future heir. Not only that, but he was nothing in comparison. Idrael struggled more with his powers then his brother, and also didn't 'bloom' until a much later age. As a result, he spent his childhood being neglected by everyone around him. Teachers, nobles, his peers and even his parents.

As a result, Idrael grew up to be hateful. Still of the royal family, in later years he was still held in high esteem. Moving away from Bryre, he set up an estate far away from his brother and anything to do with him. Living there for the next few hundreds years, he slowly began to be feared and respected by those surrounding him. Fearful of his quick and nasty temper, but respectful because of his heritage. The young man began to love the sense of fear he placed in people, making them cower at his feet, afraid to be punished. It was the most attention he had ever gotten.

Not long after living there, did he heard of an ancient relic that boosted the possessor's powers. Hungry for the chance to show up his brother, and have more people respect him, Idrael set out to finding all he could about this stone. After years of searching he finally learned that it was in the possession of his family line. Passed down from king to the son, the one to be heir to the throne. It was never to be used, unless to help keep the peace was threatened. Idrael was determined to gain this stone, and set out back to Bryre.

Upon returning, he found his brother well off. Married, with four children and a healthy heir he was to pass the throne too. Playing the role of uncle to the child, and brother to Jophiell, he found his way back into the family. Not wasting time, the man began to question after the stone, when in private with his brother. When Jophiell refused to let him see the stone, Idrael's temper got a hold of him and his true intentions were revealed. As a result, Jophiell decided to take measures and not let his brother get a hold of the pendant.

For keepsake, it was handed to his eldest child. She was the oldest by far in comparison to her siblings. Though she would not inherit the throne, her schooling and training was the same her brother would receive. It was her father's hope that he would not become too desprite. Though he knew his brother wanted it, the King didn't believe that he would do anything to get it.

Idrael grew even angrier at this action, and as a result lashed out. Striking down his brother and his wife down, he proceeded after the children to see if any of them the relic. The eldest child protected her siblings, standing up against Idrael despite her fear. As a result, the siblings managed to escape with the caretaker. Long with them they took Jophiell and his wife, who were both injured enough to be close to death.

The man no longer cared about his brother, of the others. He had managed to discover the girl had the pendant. Thinking his brother foolish for entrusting something like that with his daughter, he attacked the girl. He slowly beat her down, bring her terror to it's peak and injuring her horribly. Thinking he won, he made the move to take the pendant and be off. Everything went horribly wrong from there, for him.

What he didn't know, was that the girl's power was far beyond his brothers even despite her young age. In her fear, of being hurt further and Idrael taking the pendant, she managed to tap into the powers of the stone. She had no control over such a thing, and as a result sent him flying wildly into a portal of both time and place.

Landing in a place he came to learn to be earth, Idrael began his search. His rage was doubled, due to his embarrassment. Not only did he fail, but someone much younger also showed him up then him. It wasn't long before a similar presence caught his attention. It was the same as Jophiell's child, right there on earth...

Naem'ir
Appearance
The Naem'ir are an advanced race of what used to be Cat Demons. They share some of the same traits as the feline species, but altered. They have taken a more human appearance, losing a lot of the original features over the years.

Their ears are no longer as small, nor perched up on the top of the head. They are settled on the sides, long and slender. The insides face downwards, with the furry part on the top. The colour ranges to any normal fur colour, though white is exclusive to the royal family. They often are the key to reading the emotions of Naem'ir, though many of the breed have control over them.

At a young age, the feline race does not have a tail. It's a sign of maturity, usually appearing a few into what would be equivalent of the late teens of a human. It appears shortly after puberty, usually over the span of a night. The fur is the same colour as the ears, usually with some kind of marking of a different shade.

Some of the Naem'ir have markings on their body, on the left palm of their hand. Only the royal family possess the mark. It is passed onto the mate of the ruling member, once their bond is complete. Also, the heir receives the full mark, while siblings will only posses a fraction of it.

Their bodies are built small and slender, the race developed for agility, stamina and flexibility. They are stronger than humans, and other races, naturally but not in comparison to many. Their natural ability of speed does make up in battle. Though they choose a more peaceful life, the Naem'ir are built for war.

History
Centries ago, humans broke the fragile peace between one of the most powerful Cat Demon Tribes. Overpowered, the creatures were forced to flee. Instead of scattering to the four corners of the lands, they used their unique powers and fled to another dimension. They felt it was the only way to completely free themselves from the fear of humans.

Throughout the years, the different conditions of another realm slowly caused them to evolve from what they once were. This included both appearance and skills. They became more powerful than ever, but they did not lose their peaceful ways. Despite being one of the most pwoerful races of the dimensions, they had no desire to rule over it.

Abilities

Retractable Claws
At a young age, all learn to extend their claws. It's the most basic of survival, a weapon they always have with them. Most young learn basic combat

Dimension shift
A natural ability of the Naem'ir. Though, many are not strong enough to be able to slip through the barriers that separate the realms. Only the strongest are able to do so easily. It takes an extended amount of time to learn, even more so for those that are weaker.

Time Shift
A very rare ability. Only a small amount every few decades show the potential for this skill. Even so, many of those that do recieve it, can only travel up to a few years back and occasionally forward. There is the rare chance that one of the Naem'ir, usually a royal, can move between any length of time.

Abilities

Quick step: The simple thing of speeding time up around his body, the man can quicken himself considerably.

Chronos Pause: Idrael uses it to move instantously from one spot to another. Stopping time in an area for a time, it allows him to He can only hold it for a few seconds, and is not able to use it constantly. He only uses it to dodge things he couldn't otherwise. To the other person, it is as if he simply is in one spot, then in another.

Barrier: By twisting space around, a barrier is created. It will block most attacks directed his way. It is merely a smoky black screen appearing around in, or in one spot depending. Anything from a wall, to sphere around him.

If he sets it right, the shield will deflect the attack back. This only works for energy attacks, where he can shift the 'space' around him and change it's path.

Black Distortion: Usually in the form of a ball gathered in his hand. All gravity and time is pulled into it, creating a very deadly black orb of compressed energy. Upon contact, it will burst. All the compressed energy will be released upon the object. This can crush almost anything, depending how much is focused.

Idrael can control this orb created, and also create little mini pockets within an area.

Gravity Well
This is Idrael's ability to control gravity, orginating from centeries of trining his powers for dimentions and time.

1] Float: Distorting gravity around him, Idrael is able to lift himself from the ground. He is allowed the freedom of movement in the air. This has a limitation in movement. He can only go so high, and for so long. It is impossible to continue to do it for prolonged amounts of time.

2] Carry: As he can lift himself, the man can lift objects by distorting gravity around them also. The heavier they are, the more of a strain it is on his powers.

For both these attacks, it depends on whether or not the object is moving. When Idrael distorts the engery around it, it can't move. If it does, it'll basicly miss.

3] Crush: Not only can he make it light and pick it up, but he can do the opposite. By concentrating the gravity around something, it can be much heavier then before. This can be used to press gravity towards an object, and crush it.
