That's how I sort of feel. I think I might be bisexual, but am really not sure if it's true or if I'm just thinking it because of a phase. I would tell my parents that I might be, but... my dad has his own twisted sort of view about sexuality and stuff besides straight.
Also, I'm fourteen, so the age makes me more confused as well. All I can say is good luck. You'll figure it out at some point...

Youngins, listen here and listen good
Waronik, your dad is wrong, because its NOT a decision, if I had the choice I'd be straight (not now, I LOVE it) because I want blood children. Its something that I believe developes towards puberty(sp?). So, you're not too young, so long as you are at the age of......how to put this without mispelling.......at the age of becoming a man, get me?
As for the rest of you. Its no phase, its about sexual preference, to be HORRIBLY blunt, its what you "get off on" as one gay friend told me when I came out
I knew when I was about 13ish when I started.....liking men as it would
Again, my opinion, I hope it helps, but its up to you to figure it out and don't worry, you'll know in time young ones

I say wait a few years and they see how you feel about each gender. Each person if different. Some people know at a very young age, some at puberty, some far beyond that. Only time will tell but I agree with Yaoiman: it isn't a decision, it just is.

13 isn't too young to start having sexual thoughts, but for you it may be too young to know for sure where you fall on ths spectrum of human sexuality. And don't worry about that. There's no need to "experiment" or question yourself, just accept the feelings as they come.
Maybe you don't know what you are now. Maybe you won't be exactly sure in five years, or ten, or ever. But so what? In the future, you'll love someone, and that's the important part, not being able to explain and classify yourself down to a T.
Your parents may be right to some degree: some people are certain of their sexuality at a very young age, others never are. They may believe you're still not sure, but you shouldn't see that as something negative. Give yourself time.

I'm not too sure how too help. I'm only 14 so like, from my point of view. You're (we're) still pretty young so give it some time, see how your feelings change (or not). It might just be the hormones... (my friends say that) Maybe you can talk to some friends you know (and trust) about this issue, explore your sexuality... (not too much though! Haha.) Parents might not understand cause' we're from different generations. We're the first generation of kids (teenagers whatever) to grow up WITH technology so we think differently from our parents and they might not get where you're coming from and not understand your situation. Though they were you're age at one stage, I'm pretty sure they think differently that you do know and respect different values so be nice to them. wink Boy. I feel old now. emo *sulks*

You're never too young to decide on your sexuality. And besides- If in the future, you're no longer interested in guys, no one's forcing you to be gay, bisexual, straight, ect. If you feel like your too young, no one's making you decide right here and now, right?
So, no, I don't think it's too young to be gay. If it were too young to be gay, it'd be too young to be straight as well. ^.^

No, you're not too young. Heck, I'm probably younger than you, and I'm pretty much 100% sure that I'm pansexual. I was experiencing feelings towards girls when I was 10, for crying out loud. /:

psychotic LEE Parents might not understand cause' we're from different generations. We're the first generation of kids (teenagers whatever) to grow up WITH technology so we think differently from our parents and they might not get where you're coming from and not understand your situation. that must be why... that and the fact that religion isnt as big of a lifestyle as it used to be. my mom and grandparents were devoted christians so anything gay is off limits. no one in my family gets it. im bi... so first, i came out to my friend ana... i told her first because she listens and knows how to help...(this all happened my junior year, although ive been checking out girls for a while...) i hadnt realized it until then that i was bi... i really had strong feelings for girls but i could never give up on guys... (theyre too gorgeous... ) anyway.... i only told my friends... the ones that i knew would take care of me... im alittle more open than i used to be... my mom thought i was gay until i got my boyfriend... so i dont plan on telling her the truth. but youre never too young or too old to know youre sexuality. i realized it when i was 16... some realize it when theyre 12... it all depends on the person and how theyre raised...

Ah, well, I'm not sure myself. I'm 15, and I'm fairly kinda thinking I might be bi. I'll just let things go as they will.

Well, I'm not quite sure what to tell you since I'm 13 too. But I'm not confused on the matters of my orientation. Found out I was bisexual last year, that I did. You're not too young to decide on your sexuality. At least, I don't think so. Son, it all comes down to one question. What turns you on? And there you have it.
