Some say, the best way we can defend the public from the scums of evil is to remain hidden, and as secretive as possible.
Other, however, insist that running around with a battle-rifle blowing the streets to hell seems like a good way to protect the vulnerable from t3h 3vil.
So what, do you as a respective agent, believe we should do?

Becoming hidden again is not an option. We just got the public to trust us, you wanna lose that again?
I'm also troubled that you seem to think that the only alternative to being hidden and secretive is "running around with a battle-rifle blowing the streets to hell".

Iono. I thought the G.I.B. goes hidden once the plot is over, and they come back from the shadows once the plot starts...

trust? they trust us? sure, I am no longer getting cookies thrown at me, but it is my opinion that the general mindset about the GIB has remained about the same. while going hidden will raise a bit of an uproar ((so cool that we can make an uproar about a little thing as that)) its really not going to hurt us. besides, I have five bucks on a bet saying the vampire event will be exactly like the zurg one, forum based attacking the other group. when that happened, we laughed about it.

It's not whether or not we should, it's whether or not we should accept the fact we're in the shadows.
Face it, the GIB isn't as famous as it once was. A lot of people have already forgotten about us. In fact, the only way we can gain popularity outside of the GCD community is through tonights plot update.

Well, that's to be expected neutral We are a plot related group, and if I'm not mistaken, during the last plot was the first time so many organizations were created. What happened to most of them? They were forgotten. It's normal that we were forgotten too; everyone expected us to get bored and disband. Be patient, as soon as we make another thread in the next Event Forum we'll show them we aren't here just for the show. Most of those people just have to realize we aren't dead yet biggrin

I think... I think we should go hidden. If we have info they need we can give it to them. If we let them steal it, they might give it out as if they found it. If we give it to them, they respect us more, and we earn their trust. It's simple.

No. I care that we protect them if we must, aaaaaaaand that we gather enough information to predict problems well in advance. Forget the public.
