I swear, none of this is exadgerated 3nodding [Even if I can't spell xd ]

On the way home from Austin today, we see about seven unmarked police cars, sirens blaring, all heading in the same dirrection. We get a bit uneasy, and start wondering out loud about what happened. About the time we see they're heading the same way we were, which is right by an airport, a ******** SWAT van comes zooming by.
We really start worrying now, you know. Well we see they've gone by the airport - but that's not so good, because we live further on than the airport. We see an ambulace (ALL of these are going past us in our lane) and a fire truck. We're really even more worried now. It's really weird, because the radio's not reporting a thing. Not one thing. Nothing.
About the time we decide everything's okay, we see a bullet proof SWAT van come by, and another fire truck. They're still going our way.
We decide to follow them, which is the long way to our house.
We turn into the road they're all on, and see a god damn HELICOPTER! It's flying all around, pretty low, like it's looking for someone, you know?
And there are even more cop cars, these are all marked, and they're making people turn around. All this is taking place at a school not too far from my house, maybe 10 miles away.
We pull into the parking lot to turn around and see a 'civilian' car with its back doors and trunk open, being photographed thoroughly. As we turn again, we can see about half a mile down on the other side of the lot is another car, with a couple of people being interviewed by police officers.

Weird thing? NO ******** PRESS! Not one news van. Still nothing's on the radio, and this has all taken about 30 minutes.

Well we pull out and we see a few cars pulled over, all completely open like they'd been searched, one was even still being searched by a police officer.

It was all pretty scarey, but I think the worst part was coming home and turning on the tv to find out what happened. NOTHING. Nothing on 10 news stations, both local and national. Not one damn word about it.

What could be so bad that all those cops, 2 SWAT teams, and a helicopter would all be in ********, texas, without any news coverage? It's creeping me out bad! sweatdrop

a body or drugs is my guess..
maybe even kidnap victim

Yeah I'm SO paranoid about desease after reading The Stand lol xd heart [For those of you who haven't read it, they kept it out of the press and all this 3nodding ]

Yeah probably drugs or murder. But do SWAT teams usually get called in for just drugs? o.o Or even kidnappings? o.o [Don't know about SWAT much, except that they're always at shootouts and places were hostages/murders are/have taken place 3nodding ]

And I can see your point, Tink, but a lot of news here says "BABY GIRL FOUND IN BASKET NO MORE DETAILS BUT LYK OMG BABY GIRL FOUND!!!" You know, just not even bothering to have more details. I just thought it was strange, over 50 people on cells, and not one news van o.o Cause you know one of them called channel 8 gonk lol

I really don't think it was a drill, because it seems like people would be informed that it was a scheduled drill, so no one would panic. Also, taking fake pictures would be a bit much? O.o

But yeah, I just don't trust the government, and in turn, police officials. Someone fecked up big time if they were told not to report on it, is my thinking 3nodding
