No, seriously.
Edmund could be collecting all those vegetables and flowers to fight the vampires. Edmund could be using them as protection against the dark forces of evil. Edmund could be making a lovely onion casserole, and using the orchids as a striking centerpiece. (The happiness of an NPC changes the history of Gaia too, you know!)
OR, EDMUND COULD BE TRICKING POOR INNOCENT GAIANS INTO THROWING THEIR GOLD AT RINA AND GETTING A CUT OF THE PROFITS!
Seriously. All those hundreds and hundreds of Gaians out there, eager to get their quest items, are throwing .5 to 1.5k (you can do the quest three times~) in gold at Rina every minute!
Edmund and Rina are working together to leech gold from us! And it's working! OH MY GASPNESS. BEWARE THE EVIL NPC SCAMMERS BRIBING YOU WITH BROOCHES FOR GOLD.
BEWARE.

We can't rule that out of the possibility.
With the amount of Gold it costs to purchase at Edmund's store, when he makes a sale it's great... but when he doesn't... well.
IF he's getting a cut of the profit's from Rina... that's just EVIL buisness.

Well if everyone was there for AnimeExpo or just did the research, yea he is going to get shot. Also, also they are going to be Vampires, thank god! Time for the bitting streak. Or else you will be protected by the Black Orchid Brooch. He just want to protect the Gaians from not turning into Vampires.

Sakura dear, I was kind of joking. In my heart of hearts and brain of... brains, I don't believe that Edmund is making a salad or lovely floral centerpieces or getting a cut of the profits from Rina.
I'm not a very serious person, at least most of the time. I know that zee VONpires and vampires are probably what the plot update will be about.
But sometimes it's fun to poke fun at things too.
And Edmund is using the flowers to make a giant GET WELL SOON present for Ian, of course. xd
