I won't be making any more rituals for folk by request, since I'm going to put some more practice into it so I can perfect my method. Sorry guys!



Well hello there. I've gotten a little bit of positive feedback for this idea, so I figured I'd go right ahead and make this shop. It'll seem pretty bare for a couple of days until I get it really fleshed out, so bear with me!
The idea behind this shop is that some folk need a magickal helping hand now and again, and I feel I could lend said hand with the one talent I'm fairly certain I have -- writing spells and rituals. If you've got a problem that you'd like a little assistance with - sick relative, irritating poltergeist, wonky astral temple - I'll whip you up a spell or ritual, customised for you personally, which you can either perform on your lonesome, or have me perform for you.

And since Gaia Law forces me to say it -- please note, this is for entertainment purposes only. I'm not a qualified therapist of any sort, so if you have a serious problem, see a specialist.

1. Develop a problem. This one's pretty important. It can be more or less anything, general or specific -- from "I want to be more lucky" to "I want a servitor to guard my dreams and make sure I don't get nightmares". Even if you're unsure as to wether I'll accept it or not, ask anyway.
   
2. Post here explaining your problem in detail, and if possible, offer a few solutions you'd like me to whip up. If you can't think of any solutions, that's perfectly alright, I'll offer up a few and we'll liase until we find one that suits us both. If you want to discuss ideas in private, send me a PM instead.
   
3. Get a gold and time quotation. Check the pricing guide below. Before even starting work on the solution, I will always tell you exactly how much you'll be paying for it -- if you don't like the price, you can haggle, or drop the commission, it's up to you. Likewise with time - I'll tell you how long it'll take me to write up your ritual before I even start work on it. If you want me to write it sooner, it might cost you a bit more. Once we sort out the gold and time, I'll start work on your ritual - after this stage, I consider the commission underway.
   
4. Wait a while. You'll never have to wait more than 2 weeks, though (unless i'm utterly swamped with requests, but even then).
   
5. Receive a confirmation that the ritual has been finished. I'll PM you a copy of the ritual with the important parts helpfully excluded; this is just so I have proof that I've written it for you, and you're agreeing to commit to buy the ritual before e-money exchanges e-hands.
   
6. Trade me the aforementioned gold. I won't send the ritual until the gold's been traded, for the simple reason that it's likely I'm not out to swindle you since a) I won't be charging much and b) I've a substantial amount to lose if I do so; likewise, I won't trust some faceless person to give me gold as a promise. If you don't find me terribly trustworthy, don't commit to buying the ritual.
   
7. Receive one ritual through PM. I'll also add the ritual to my portfolio unless you explicitly state that you don't want me to. If you end up not liking the ritual, PM me and I'll fix it up to your liking. I won't charge extra for that.
   

There's no formula to calculate the price or time of rituals; since each ritual is independantly made for an individual, the prices will vary considerably. With the exception of the time factor, these are just rough guidelines. If you want something done, don't worry about the gold until we've got everything else sorted out. I'm willing to bump my prices down for those that need/deserve it. Just remember I'm not so much out for the gold as I am to help folk and to get some more practise writing rituals in.

Time: Per default, I'll finish your ritual in two weeks maximum - if you don't specify a date you want the ritual finished by (and performed by), the following paragraph doesn't apply to you. If you really want to, you can specify a date for it to be done by, and if I agree to it, you'll get it sooner, but you'll have to pay more. For every day sooner I have to do the ritual (out of a maximum of 14 days), I'll add on 100g. So, for example:
If you wanted the ritual to be finished 24 hours after the commission is underway, you'd add 1400g onto the price.
If you wanted the ritual to be finished a week after the commission is underway, you'd add 700g onto the price.
If you wanted the ritual to be finished a week and a two days after the commission is underway, you'd add 500g onto the price.
Note that all times are after the commission is underway, meaning when we agree on a final time and final price. I'll warn you before the commitment's made.

Complexity: There're no strict guidelines for this, so we'll discuss it between us until we come up with something affordable. Basically, the more difficult it'll be for me to write the ritual because of you (nicely put, I know), the more I'll charge. Thus if you're a good ol' generic pagan, I won't have much trouble writing you a ritual to summon dryads. If you're a Setian Pylon and you want to summon the jackal spirits of the 3rd Aether... Well, I'd probably turn you down, but if not, I'd charge a bit more. If you're unsure as to wether you can afford it or if you're willing to pay so much, speak to me about it and we'll sort something out. I may ask some stuff about your path, tradition, beliefs and whatnot so that I don't end up giving a Hellenic reconstructionist a ritual that summons egyptian deities, for example. The less complex your problem or intent, the sooner you're likely to get your ritual.

Performed (optional): In addition to writing the ritual, I'll also perform it for you (if it's possible for me) for an additional charge, which will change depending on the complexity of the ritual. Again, we'll talk it over and work something out. I can't provide proof of the ritual having been done aside from badly-taken photographs from before and after, so if you're unsure about my credibility, don't ask me to do perform this for you. If the ritual doesn't work, I'm also not going to refund you unless I'm fairly certain I trust your word (which is unlikely unless we're friends).

I'm looking for work, and really need help getting a job. I am 18 (19 in a month), no prior work experience.
I need something so I can have a "leg up," if you will.

If you can manage something discreet, without requiring much in "materials," that would be great.

If not, I'll manage (or pay to have you do it...).

NOTE: I would like this done some-what quickly... say, within the next 5 days?

One day is 1400 gold, so 5 should be about an additional 300 (1400/5=280)... but we can work it out. I understand if you want more (as it would be placed in higher priority).

I probably should have read that section a little closer... seeing as I am a major supporter of people knowing what they're paying...

Anywho...

Invocation/appealing would work, and I've gotten much better at visualization...

So those would be the primary foci of the ritual. I also am currently drying some incense I've mixed up that contain cinnamon and ginger... supposed to help in the monetary department (does not need to be included).


Though I will say that above all else, this needs to be able to be done either quickly, or if it takes some time, then it must be able to be done in public without drawing too much attention...

Josh, it might take me a good few more days to finish that ritual of yours (what an incredible first impression) since I'm snowed under with bank stuff/holiday stuff/wife stuff/sleep stuff at the mo'. Hope your insides aren't churning with malcontent or anything (and if so, you should get that checked out. :U)

I'm fairly certain I can do the ritual for you, but it'll be sometime next week after before I can actually do it, since I'm midway through moving into a new flat. DX

Price-wise though, if you want that exact ritual done (Illuminating Traits), then it'll cost you 300g, unless you need it to be done before a specific date. If that sounds koo to you, gimme a shout and I'll do the ritual for you sometime next week (I'll PM you before I start).
