Swirlset padded softly outside. She was cautious and curious by nature. For the most part, she had been sheltered by her home. She had little knowledge of her siblings or parents, but she knew she lived with a grand uncle or something along those lines. For the most part, she knew they were her bloodline because of the swirls. It wasn't too hard to tell what family some kitsu were these days.
Today she felt the need for air and maybe some excitement. She was bored being cooped up.

 High, upon a branch of a tree that looks almost impossible for one to climb, laid the strange and dark pelted kitsusagi. Wide, curious mismatching eyes scored the lands under him, as he quietly mumbled to himself. It wasn't that he didn't talk to himself in his head, it was that he couldn't.
Seeing a sudden movement outside of the realm headquarter area, his gaze fell onto another form, a kitsusagi that was not familiar to his range of memory. "It is different for him to meet someone so new in this area.. he is used to seeing only family, really. Hello down there!" he stated, a little louder than usual, with a wide smile and a hopeful heart. Maybe this one will be nice.

Swirlset started and looked around. Then recalling that the voice had said, down there, she looked up to see the kitsu high in a tree. She grinned, as this was not normally she saw a kitsu without wings.
"Hi!" she called back, blinking her own mismatched set of eyes. One yellow, one black, she never really looked in a mirror so she didn't see herself as different at all as her family and others she lived with never mentioned it.

"Another one with strange eyes!" He stated outloud, almost to himself in a happy trill, before lowering his head nearer to her, smiling coyly. "He's rather content meeting another one today, was wondering if anyone else was around today. You're a breath of fresh air for him." He stated, nodding softly.
"What brings a lass like you out here then, he wonders." Was posed softly, before a abrupt giggle cracked his seriousness, but only for a moment. He was definitally a strange one.

"Just out for some air myself. I stay inside too much." Swirlset replied, smiling. She thought his way of referring to himself in the third person was rather amusing. "What's your name? I'm called Swirlset. I like your eyes."
So it seemed she was a bit on the random side herself. Ah well, nothing wrong with that.

With a flicker of his ear, and a bright smile, he nodded to the lass from his tree. "Thank you kindly, he finds it wonderful that there's another with such odd eyes, the dear lady's are close to his, but one eye is yellow, not brown, like his." he answered, before hearing her name.
"Swirlset is an interesting name. He is called Canon, like the weapon or something that is normally together yes." he told her, cantering his head softly. "It's always good to stay outside, he finds it's much nicer to enjoy the outside than being in the stuffy house with others who question him." he stated, a streak of seriousness in his normally soft voice.

"I'm normally left alone. Though, I would be wanting to get away should I be questioned all the time too." Swirlset said, setting herself down and watching the other kitsu that was up the tree. "How did you get all the way up there though? If you don't mind my asking...."
