I cannot suggest specific titles, but I can tell you this: unless you know kanji well, do not go for doushinji. They typically assume you can read at a higher level and don't include furigana with their kanji

You should probably seek titles published in anthologies for younger readers if you don't know your kanji well, as most of them do have furigana -- titles published in magazines like Shounen Jump and I believe, Nakayoshi. There's a good website with a list of anthologies that might have titles that interest you called Comipedia.
Also, we might be able to recommend some titles. What genres do you like?

If you live near a store like kinokuniya that sells japanese magazines, i reckon just buy Shounen Jump or Shounen Magazine volumes. They're not that expensive either [they cost me approx 6 dollars AU an issue]. Quite thick with lots of different manga. So its quite likely you'll find something that will be at your level or will interest you.

If you'd like, I can go to Mitsuwa Mall and find out about all the manga there. There's plenty to choose from so I'm sure I can find one that suits your interest. (BTW: Mitsuwa Mall is a Japanese mall with a little bit of Korean and Chinese. It is in Arlington Heights, Illinois, if anyone is close enough to go check it out. It's really cool.)

Ghost Hunt. It can be creepy but if you like horror and comedy then it's AWESOME! It's in english with a lot of japanese culture in it and FINALLY a non-japanese character that isn't treated like an alien (unfortunately i don't LIKE that character stare ), and at the end of every chapter there's like, a 3 page preview of the next volume in japanese, with furigana with the kanji if you can't read kanji (and if you know hiragana). it's really good! don't worry there's an explanation for every cultural thing unkown to the common foreigner in the back. you can actually start on volume 2 if you need to lol because they explain everything. thats what i did because i couldn't find volume one. it's REALLY good you should try it

That's difficult to answer because you didn't list what manga you have read. Though, if it were me I would research and pick a manga that is really popular in Japan right now.

One of the most popular right now is Nana - walking past bookshops the other day, the latest volume was on display outside a few of them.
